  4. Sweet, so how is your idle on cold start (until warm)?

I've attached the following screenshot from my ECUtalk. 1) If I set the TPS to .48-.50v (throttle voltage), the car will hunt/stall 2) 02 feedback shows the odd occasion where it goes lean at idle, revs drop to 800ish then back up to 1200. (0.01v) 3) I have a very minor air leak at a T-Piece, if I remove the T-Piece (for the Eboost), the car will want to stall, through what seems to be a lean condition?? Apart from the slightly high (but stable) RPM, do the other gauges show pretty good info?
  6. Hey guys has anyone tried and failed/successfully blocked off the idle air regulator? This is the one down near the injectors under the throttle body.. My understanding is this helps bump the idle during warm up? Would it be possible to bypass, and get the IACV to bump the revs pending on coolant temp feedback (aftermarket ecu)
  7. Went and saw Toshi, 02 feedback wasnt switched off. We did find a couple air leaks which have now been sorted, yet it still does the same thing. Starting to wonder if my Nismo 555cc injectors have an issue. He did mention the AFM voltage is a little low at idle... but shouldnt cause too much concern

  9. Wouldnt say its random. 8/10 times it will stall after 20-30 secs of idle. Pretty sure GTSBoy is onto it..
  10. You might be onto something. Because I was originally seeing sub 11.0 AFR on idle with the TD06, he turned off O2 feedback and tried to adust/lean it out, with no result. I think the cleaning of my AAC and any leaks has solved my rich idke issue, and I may need to have the feedback turned back on... Hmmm. No Nistune software.. Appreciate the help man!
  11. Ps - Can feel this lean spot while driving 2-25% throttle. Car with TD06 + stock injectors + stock ecu idled fine. (no wideband to tell) Car with TD06 + Nismos + Nistune idled fine (tune/untuned - no wideband) Car with TD05 + Nismos + Nistune doesnt like to idle (tuned / with wideband) With the info above, you would think it's possible Nistune/Tune related right?
  12. *sigh* Heres the scenario at the moment. Car while driving, any gear, any RPM and any speed, from say 2%-25% throttle will show lean on my wideband 16.0+ AFR.. Then when you push the throttle past say 1/4 throttle, it will go into 13-15.0 AFR and obviously rich conditions when WOT. Also when coming to a stop (idle), the car will idle fine for 20-30 seconds, and then the wideband shows it going anywhere from (11.2-15.7 and then to 16.0+ AFR again, this time causing the car to stall. Bliping the throttle stops brings the revs back up, but again 20-30 seconds after, same scenario. Car has been checked over and over for vacuum leaks. O2/IAC/TPS have also been disconnected individually to no change. I'm wondering if my Nismo 555cc injectors have a issue? Car shows 40psi fuel pressure +/- 1-2psi on idle. (and doesnt drop off during the lean condition at idle). Stock BOV/Stock AFM.
  13. R33 Highflow + Nistune + Supporting Mods, I would think you'd see around 190-220rwkw +/- 5-10rwkw depend on health of the RB20 and tune... I didnt know they were really laggy? Add some adjustable cam gears..
  14. Hey guys, I have available 24x Nippon Denso Spark Plugs. Surplus to my needs. These are Toyota packaged. These are the equivilent to NGK BCPR6ES-11. $25 per 6 including Postage anywhere in Australia, or $18 per 6 picked up from Liverpool/Campbelltown.   18. Ahhh yes. I replaced the harness as my connectors where starting to break. Funny you say firewall, my ignitor is earthed to one of the valley cover bolts?? And the harness is earthed to the last coil pack "frame" mounting bolt?? Do they seem like OEM positions? I have no issues making addition earthing connections myself if you think it will help.
  19. What boost you planning to run? I made 213rwkw @ 14psi, unopened, td06 (shitty i/gate) walbro, 550's, cooler, exhaust + nistune. Expecting 240ish with 20-22psi with the td05-18g 3" anti. Scott - Have 0.8 gap already. Have swapped OEM coils for Supersparks (shhh were cheap), so could it be ignitor related as it was doing the same with the OEM coils..
  20. Murph - keen to hear what numbers you get. What supporting mods? TD05-18G is good if you not wanting massive numbers 250-260+ and not wanting to loose too much lag. Can anyone suggest a good plug gap for 22psi? Or just gap a little, then test drive unitil no more miss up high at WOT?

  23. Does the "hunting" go away once you tap the throttle, on cold start up? Or does the engine come good after 10-15 seconds? What mods?
