Hey guys, my mate is buying a Vl Turbo with Rb20det. It has a few mods (fmic, exhaust, boost), nothing over the top, and runs a Wolf 3d ecu. From what I've read it's a plug n play unit. What I'd like to know is if it plugs into my harness, will it run (i know not perfect until its tuned) and is there any difference between the vl rb20 and r32 rb20? How much do these go for 2nd hand?

Hey guys just purchased some Tanabe Coilovers for my R32. I'm having trouble adjusting the height while they are off the car. There are two "locking plates" which I assume need to go the opposite way to each other to unlock, but I'm finding it near impossible to crack them. One uses a bigger C-Spanner then the other. Are the threads just your usual lefty loosy, righty tighty? Also I read the DIY Tutorial and was wondering when I got installing these, if the eye (connects to the bottom) is bolted on, can I twist/rotate the top so the two studs go into the holes? Cheers.

Solved. removed the trim piece. nothin out of the ordinary. Then I thought it was the jack in the boot come loose. BINGO...problem solved lol

i have a full clear on to suti 32 gtst. not too sure if it can be modified to suit gtr. yours for $50 posted.

Take the rod off and go for a drive. See how much boost it makes. would be lucky to see the .5 bar at redline.If it still spikes then its another issue. I have an aftermarket split dump and suffered major spiking - from 12psi to 17psi!!. Put my standard back on and 12psi all day. Found the wastegate flap was fouling the wastegate hole. Gotta get around to die-grinding abit out to get clearances.

Did this today and the 3rd number was minus 11 (-11)..for the sun loading. As a result my a/c doesn't get cold, just ambient. Can anyone explain in detail the procedure to place a resister/thermister inplace. Diagram would be very helpful. Also what resister/thermistor do I need.

Sound deadening will help, but going over all the bolts checking their tight can also eliminated. I'm about to upgrade to coilovers so I'll have to get used to them + Sydney roads

Hey guys, R32 GTST About a month a go I started to hear a slight metallic rattle every-so-often when going over a little bump in the road. Now it has turned into a constant rattle on every bump. At first I thought it might have been the window glass but it sounded more metallic. I'm thinking it could be my front seat belt retractor, one of the bolts come loose. It deffinately sounds like its behind the passenger rear seat, side, interior trim. Just wondering if anyone had similar issues and is the trim easy to remove.
