  1. Hello guys, i'm actually looking for a Defi Link Meter Gauge, oil temperature, white face and 60mm, Defi part number is #DF00905. If someone would like to sell that unit or if you know anyone who wants to sell it just let me know by a private message. Thanks in advance. That's the gauge im looking for:
  2. Thanks for the answer, so i suppose the cable+plug is the throttle position sensor and the plug hole is the idle switch if i'm right ?
  3. Hello guys, i have a question about the throttle sensor, there is one plug hole directly on it, also there ist one other cable leaving the Throttle sensor with a plug. Both the plug hole and the cable+plug are having 3 pins / cables. So my question is are these both outputs the same or do they have both a different function ?. I would be very thankful if you could help me out.
  4. OK guys, thank you very much for your help guys i see what u mean now. I'll bring the engine back to him and let him fit the collar then.... damn it!.
  5. OK guys can you please help me to understand this, some are speaking that the flat surface isn't that wide as it should be. Do you mean the width of the flat surface or the length of the flat surface or both?. I need to know this to be able to explain it to my engine builder. Check this:
  6. Hello guys, i read a lot of "oppinions" about the "crank-collar-case" until now however i'm not sure about a few things. I have a JUN oil pump and do i need to fit a crank collar on my RB25DET '95 (Series 1.5) engine or will the RB25DET crank match the JUN Oil Pump perfectly ?. As i heard only the "most" R32 GT-R RB's have problems, but didn't heared anything about the RB25DET ??. ------ The next thing, if i'm understanding right that the collar have bigger flats to run the oil pump, do you mean wider flats, or longer flats, or both ? Thanks in advance for your help guys.
  7. Just search the web and you'll find more infos on twinscroll, there are better places to invest the money on a straight six engine then on an twinscroll setup.
  8. Hello guys, i have a R33 GTS-t RB25DET for which i do need an oil pick up. The oil pick up should be in an undamaged and full functional condition. I would be very thankful for any offers by a private message. Thanks in advance.
  9. Twin Scroll is a very good thing for 4 cylinder engines and V6+ V8-engines, however it won't have the same comparable effect on straight 6 cylinder engines as the exhaust gas flow is much better...
  10. That's right, the RB25DET will move into my S13. However i have already special made brackets which are relocating the sway bar lower, so it will at least clear the oem RB25 sump. So the custom 8.5l sump is ~ 100,00 AUSD more expensive then the 6.5l one but i could still order it ?. As i'm actually located in germany i'm trying to get parts from abroad always by email first, not by phone.
  11. Yeah, the VCT is very important for me, my personal oppinion ist that the RB25 Head is better (newer design, bigger ports, better flowing) then the RB26 head as long as you keep your revs under 8k. When youre starting to smash a very large turbo on the engine which still is making power over 8k (T04Z?) you should choose the RB26 head due to the solid lifters.
  12. OK, i do already have that story behind me and i want to share my experience with you guys. I got my adapter plate ( i think it's not the blitz one) from tokage racing, the shipment and support was very good. However lets come to the bad things: - Ports from the adaptor plate dont match up with the rb25det ports as the ones from the rb25det are bigger - The included gasket was crap and was leaking, i had to replace it with a custom made - No relocation kit for the VCT Solenoid was included (but i was knowing that) Here you can see the RB25DET Inlet Manifold gasket, as you can see the RB25DET ports are a lot bigger. Also it isn't matching up with the RB26 water bridge from the other side. That's why you have to port and polish the whole adapter which looks like that when it's finished: The next problem was the VCT solenoid as the water bridge can't be mounted when its installed, so you have to relocate it and mount it outside of the engine, that lot have to be connected up with braided lines first but i think you can imagine how that works. The oil which is leaving the vct solenoid will be routed to the sump!. http://www.rb30.com/rb25-6.htm One other problem is that the injectors are not spraying the fuel in the way they should spray it as the original angle will be wrong due to the thickness of the adapter plate as the injectors are sitting to far behind from the valves. Because of this you have to fit special Bosch injectors with a matching spraying angle, also you have to remanufacture the holes for the injectors in the water bridge and bore another angle in it. However, Bosch injectors wont fit if you dont have custom made adapters for them also. As i have a full programmable aftermarket ecu, i will reuse the oem RB26DET AAC-Valve. If you have more interest in that conversion just check out my webspace. However i would recommend 95% of you to just buy a RB26DETT head instead for going the way i went.
  13. Hello guys, i think some of you know High Energy sumps for our RB25DET engines, i would really like to get a PRO CIRCUIT LARGER CAPACITY SUMP with 8.5l capacity. However i think it seems nearly impossible for me to get this item, let me explain why. First off, i discovered this sump at uniqueautosports.com, i think i wrote them already about 5 emails that i really would like to buy a sump, however no one replied to me unfortunately. My next station was justjap.com i wrote two emails to them which wasn't answered, then contacted Steve from justjap.com here by a private message who told me to place an order by email what i did and which wasn't replied again. At this point of time i started realizing that these shops dont want to make money or the dont want to hassle arround with High Energy Sumps as they can't earn much on them or whatever. After that disappoinment i tried to contact High Energy ( highenergy.com.au) directly by email twice and wanted to place an order with them, however there was no one replying again. My last station was etperformance.com.au, i did also wrote two emails to them that i really would like to order one sump, but again no one answered me. So whats wrong with all those shops ? Why is no one wanting to sell me a sump ? I have already a good sump waiting in australia for exchange. Did some of you guys had the same experience ? Where did you get your High Energy Sumps from ? The problem for me is that my engine is nearly finished and i would like to install a bigger sump before putting the engine in the car, so i need such a sump as soon as possible. I would be very thankful if you guys could help me. Here's a picture of what i'm trying to get for about half a year.
  14. Hello guys, i actually have this ABS-BMC from a R33 GT-R, i do want to throw my ABS Unit out however i do want to keep this specific BMC. The problem is that this BMC do only have two ports, however i need 3, two ports for each front caliper and one port for the rear calipers. My question now is if i can put a Y- or T-piece on the port for the front brake s and convert my ABS-BMC to a None-ABS-BMC in that way?. I spoke to several people regarding this case, some say it is possible, some say i can have problems because too less fluid/pressure can move through one hole then through two holes. That's why i cutted my old S13 BMC in two halfes and saw that there is only one small hole supplying all 2 ports of the bmc, so i think the argument with the "to less fluid/pressure" is crap. What do you guys think about this case? Thanks in advance.
  15. Do you know where i can find some pictures of this modification you're talking about or do you have some ?
  16. Do somebody of you guys know where i can get a Oil Return Head Mod like the one shown in the picture below ? I would be very thankful for any help !.
  17. Most of the times its just condensation water...
  18. I would also like to know if there are any BOSCH Injectors which could fit the RB26DETT. Thanks in advance.
  19. Hello guys, i'm actually searching for a good twin-plate clutch for my RB25DET, however im stuck between two clutches, both Exedy, one is the Hyper Metal version and the other is the Hyper Carbon version. However, i would like to know if you guys compared both systems or have experience with one of them and which one you would recommend me. Is the Hyper Carbon one worth the additional costs compared to the Hyper Metal one ? The clutch i want will be used on track for drifting/racing purposes only. I'm looking forward for replys, thanks.
  20. Are you sure that your GT35R can deliver power up to 9000rpm with a 0.63 housing ? :laughing-smiley-014:
