yep things that happen are its like car wont go any faster coz of the lag and also when hitting full boost it hesitates then back to normal for a couple of seconds and then backfires? also this problem accured when i got my new spark plugs installed? NGK IRIDIUM MAX? cheers

checked for leaks but no sign? *NOTE* can my bov ( hks ssqv ) cause these problems coz ive noticed afew times today that i instead of the whistle it made a wooosh? i was told that bov symptoms can also stuff up your timing? which i think could cause the problem im having now? but im up for any ideas cheers

ok guys after getting my car back from the panel beaters getting the back rear replaced, and putting in my new spark plugs ( NGK iridium MAX ) i notice my car is losing boost when holding on 5psi or more ( like it doesnt wanna boost )? and like this morning i go to boost my car, its seems like it cuts the boost ( after 4500rpm ) with no power and then boost kicks back after? could it be coils or coil? intercooler pipes loose? etc cheers

mechanics have tried looking for leaks through the fuel lines etc... but had no clue? *note* ive got a dump pipe straight of my wastegate welded onto the manifold? could the smell come from the dumpy?

had the elecrican down the block from me have it checked on the diagnostic but hey didnt notice any faults or what so ever on the o2 sensor? also i had my ecu reset before i got it on the diagnostic??

yeah love ngk plugs aye, getting some tommorw hopefully that solves the hisatation wheen boosting, coz after getting the holes welded in it didnt solve the problem, so might check to see if its the plugs....... and plus had the mechanics check my exaust and there were no sign of leaks, BUT he said my car could be running rich coz my wastegate pipe have been leaving black mark on my exaust? lol

hey guys, ive notice something today? i was looking underneath the car from the drivers side and notice the exhaust was slightly open? could that cause the problem? especially with the smell of burn fuel coming into my car? cheers

Hey guys ive notice a strong fuel smell in my car everytime i hit the throttle? ive did some checks like checking the engine for any smell or leaks but douldnt see any, so i go to look under the car for leaks on exaust etc... still no sign, so checking to see if they are coming from the air vents while window is up still no sign, but once i drive my car with windows down, the strong smell just appears? any ideas? cheers

yeah might go for a RX6, not to fussed which brand!! ive had alot of problems with my car for the last recent years! its a head ache ill tell you, even my missus broke up with me coz she thought i was nuts over my recent problems with the car lol but she came back hehe, anyways found my problem, i found a little hole in my I/C piping and i think theres another which is showing a sign of being a hole lol, can these be welded or just relpace it? ( prize wise )? but ill still get new spark plugs thou cheers

nice, sound slike a car i wouldnt mess with (for now hehe ) yeah ive ordered my set of splitfire,cam gears, and 550cc injectors, but wont install it till i get a bigger turbo ( still deciding on how much power i want), right after i solve this problem first lol

even if there was a leakage on the piping? wouldnt that take an affect if you just driving normal? coz i drives fine when cruising,but go to boost the damn thing it does that? cheers but will take a look at the piping....

i had the same problem, i just relpaced the relay ( which is the black box inside your drivers door ) and it worked only cost me $20 second hand

yep its more of a popping noise at around 4500rpm and 5? cheers for the help guys, will do my spark plugs first and see how it goes, and let yous know cheers

hey guys im having afew problems with my car lately, but this is the major one, lately my car has been playing up, car drives fine ( as normal ), so when im on second gear, as i boost it my car just putters ( from the exaust ) and havent even gone past the readline? its the sound like if your cross the redline it putters? but mine comes real early when boosting? cheers

hey cheers for your help man, but i dont think its nothing to do with the speaker sound, its more off the engine-bay, when i had my WOF done recently, the guy noticed a leak from the power stearing underneath? so not to sure if tha would make since to you?

Hey guys for the last year ive had this annoying sound from the engine, in the cold morning it sounds like a charger with the eeeeee sound, but once motor is fully warmed up the noise just goes deeper when moving? any help? cheers
