Im pretty keen on getting exhaust system done these holidays and i got a quote from an exhaust place in nunnawading this is it: Mildsteel ( i only plan to hold onto the car for about 3 more years ) 2.5 inch piping Mandrel bent hi flow cat oval muffler resonator cannon muffler all this for $700 (including labour&parts) + futher $120 to fit extractors with system so roughly $820 to get my setup done is this good or is there any cheaper places????

a kit will probably be one of the last mods i do unless i can get the kit itself aswel as fitted & painted cheap probably go for Do-luck side skirts possible i like the skirts in the following pics

ive got 1200w sub in the boot and boot rattles i thought it might of been jack it but its not i found out that when the boot is closed if i lean on it and put enough pressure in the middle it goes away so does this mean i can just buy sound deadening and it will go away? also how do you like install it? does it take long?? also where can i purchase good but reasonable priced quality? thanks

yeah it all depends how much $$$ you got to spend...i did headunit, amp, sub n speakers first..at the end of the day if you tihnk about it not point wasting thousands on power only to go the speed limit fair enough exhaust cai n that but wouldnt recommend much more unless your serious about your car and its power output...just my opinion though. gl

where abouts in melbourne are you in...im located s.e suburbs so if its cheaper for me to pick them up then i will if it means saving $$$ but yeah hopefully we get 6+ buyers im sure it will get more attention in the GB section.

theres plenty of threads on this even a couple i had heheh but for my N/A with out goin into too many high tech mods air/pod filter extractors exhaust with a good setup it should give you raise in roughly 20-25kw if your lucky this is what im planning on getting done then rims and maybe bodykit later on

yea true how i know whats in it how it been built and guys will know how to fix if anything goes wrong but only problem i have is finding a cannon muffler...i dont want a droaning xforce muffler i would love a apexi n1 to go on the end but yeah hard to come by with 2.5 inlet if i can find a good muffler loud but not too droaning then ill go custom all the way.

anyone know how much to get dash led installed and neons with switch installed on the dash??

My mum has been busting my balls lately cause i told her about me just purchasing a hks super dragger exhuast with 2.5inch piping but its 2nd hand she keeps nagging me to get her friend who owns a custom exhaust centre to make me one at pretty much nothing.....if i went with the custom made exhaust will i still get the increase in power made compared to a hks super dragger???? i dont think i would..so im better off with the hks yea???

Remove the dashboard – R33 Personally i havent tried this, but hope this may give some people an idea. Pull out ashtray and remove two screws from behind. Carefully pull up gear shift surround, remove cigarette lighter and light plugs, and move as far to one side as possible. Remove 2 screws that were hidden by the gearshift surround. Remove 6-7 screws (cant remember exactly how many) from underneath the steering wheel column, as you will need to remove the plastic surrounds in order to remove the dash. Remove plastic surrounds around steering column. CAREFULLY, and I mean carefully ie by levering up in the best places so it doesn't cause it stress, remove the dash and centre console. Its all in one piece, and you will have to unplug the demister switch, hazard lights switch, clock, air-con sensor and pipe, and electric mirror controls. There should now be a further 4 screws that are holding the centre stereo and air-con bracket in place. These can be removed and the entire bracket removed.

the neons wires are black and black with a white stripe.... then i have a switch with 3 plugs sticking out .. i want the neons running on same circuit so they both go on and off together anyone care to be kind enough to give step by step instructions if not i might get a auto electrician or someone to do it hopefully ive tried searching for diagrams but no luck
