  1. can come one do a graph of injectors on E85 i.e x6 555's = max power ____________ @ 45PSI or what ever std fuel pressure is 700's = max power ____________ @ 45PSI or what ever std fuel pressure is 1000's = max power ____________ @ 45PSI or what ever std fuel pressure is thanks heaps and am i right by thinking say 90PSI fuel pressure means 2x the cc?
  2. why spend money on a 25? use your head and buy a rb30 , rods and pistons and away you go basically , unlike us in gtr's you have NO down sides to going the rb30.
  3. you guys are starting to scare me into the GTX3582R:) , it does sound good the whole lack of lag. the GTX4294R would be heaps laggier then the to4z right?
  4. yer i kinda see that but i am worried i gonna spend all this cash on this thing and then get bored . what sorta power lvls are we talking out of the GTX3582R with a T4 twin scroll 1.06 turbine housing? on e85? thanks
  5. car is booked for surge tank and cam gears , should be a lot closer to 400rwkw, so car can not be seen after next ween until it returns

  8. i thought i can chnage a fair amount with differnet head gaskets? and just so i know , what Compression should i be aiming for?
  9. ok starting to come to end of my build not long to go now cant wait , BUT how do you work out what compression ratios are needed? obviously my machinist is going to work out what it will be But he isnt too sure what compression i need, he suggested 9.5 to 1 ??? just some info on the motor rb30 full forged bottom end will be reving too 8k too 8.5krpm head will be ported , cams , bigger valves , etc turbo is unsure i was going to be ruining a to4z but a few people saying not too , and their is better options out their for what i want, witch is around 800rwhp on E85. will mainly be using E85 not sure what other info you need just ask thanks for any info
  10. lol season? this part street car witch will see some circuit and drag work. what sorta km you rekon you would see out of a box before it needs a rebuild? and when you say rebuild its just bearings isnt it? one thing that leads me to belive you are right about the rebadgeing thing is they use hollinger output shaft , But one thing that is wrong is about the price. i can get a os giken 88 6 speed in Australia for 15.5k or a hollinger for 22k + the extras you need and the OS comes with every from shift lights to the control box.
  11. i believe they are all dog style gears, just wondering what would rebuilds be worth? and how often will they have to be done? i really want sequential and i would rather buy one box once and not be breaking boxs. i do not see red line holding a box together at all. seems hardly any one is using the os giken 88 box any more info peoples thanks heaps

  17. ok i am just geting to the end of my rb30/26 head build and will be pushing some decent numbers, and have been looking at the OS giken 88 but is worht the money? will i kill it? i wanted it as its a Sequential 6 speed dog box and rated to some pretty good power , has any one used one? killed one? any info really hollinger was another option but their 22k+ the extra crap and i not sure thier any better the os giken? any other options on what people are ruining and what other drive line should i be beefing up? thanks heaps
  18. yer i haven't completely made up my mind, alot of people rag on to4z , But the fastst time attack car in NZ runs a stoker and to4z on gtr i want around the 500kw mark maybe a bit more on e85 but i dont wanna go jam a gt42 on to do it and turn it in to dyno queen (like few other cars atm pushing big numbers but are just useless)
  19. i didnt think u could use the infrared thermometer? i allways thought probe style thermometer in the runners was far more accurate?
  20. atm i have a 2 044's surge sys but isnt installed in car , as i am trying to sell my R32 as i am importing a r34 . will be id2000's , 2 044's and 3L surge tank +fuel rail + fuel reg and tossing up between to4z and t51r spl , not really sure yet
