that's amazing how people have varied likings.... why not post up some concept of what you would have liked the new GT-R to look like... and don't tell me the new gt-r is like god-like and totally perfect. I for one, do not like it that much.

Yeah, I guess... seeing it in the flash might change things... as the R33 GT-R to me personally, so just sex on wheels... can't imagine anything looking better (not even the R34 GT-R).... but yeah, thanks mate... make sure you let us know how the test drive goes... 3.8 litre of pure muscle is ground-breaking...

After posting my previous response to you, I went out to my car and lifted up the engine bay to have a look for ya... You gotta check how you have bolted on the Pod... there's actually 2 ways you can do this... 1. Bolt the pod directly (with an adaptor of course) to your airflow meter. 2. Drill a whole through your intercooler and pipe the pod to that. The second way, is a no no... tell me how your pod looks like... take a picture of your engine bay and I will see if I can help you further. We'll talk again soon... btw, what's the brand of your Pod again... oh 1 more thing, make sure there are no wholes or air-exit gaps in your pod... this can be bad for your engine too.

That's kinda stuffed... but like Funky said... it's a money-making ploy after all.... Skylines have ruled for a few decades, now they bring out the Infiniti GT-R and now this the GT-R itself... quite confusing when the V35 is called a Skyline now... well, this is how I see it fellas... the only true true Skylines are the R32, R33 and the R34. Period. For future generations to come, if they refer to the R35 - it'll be the 08 GT-R and the 09 GT-R so forth... but let me tell you this, I got a feeling in my veins that the Sporty Skyline legacy will come back... I just don't like the shape of the new GT-R's... the three Skylines mentioned above will be timeless... the look, the curves, the feel... everything is timeless... my car is like over 10 years old, but I still think it look just as good if not better than most modern cars... you guys agree?

I have a modified R33 GTS-T ... I dragged a R33 NA Skyline once... I won, but boy, he was like on me the whole time... do the proper mods, N/A power is reliable power that's raw all the way...

Go Pod, but do not get a K&N if you'are after good sound... get an APEXI Power Filter... makes awesome suction sound...

Why fellas, here's my beast... nicknamed Nissie Nismo , making 265 kW's at the wheels and haven't lost a battle yet.

Congrats on the new car matey...I'm sure you'll get many years driving pleasure from it. All you need now is a body kit... I suggest you get a TRUST GT-R front bar, Nismo Side Skirts, GT-R pods for the back (no need for new bar) and chuck a Jun R33 Wing on... fork out like another $3,500 and all of the above plus some extra goodies will be on your way. Good luck... looks very clean.

Wow, thanks fellas for confirming... that's ironic... the Skyline looks like a Camry Sportivo or a Mazda 6 Sports now... just a 'bit over the top' family car and that's it... wonder why they chose to go down this path?

Dear faithful Skyliners, A lot of speculation and rumours have surrounded the release of the all-new 2007 Nissan GT-R... many say it's only another GT-R whereas some say it's the next Skyline, the R35 -can someone please confirm whether it is or it is not. I personally think the Skyline tradition had ended with the R34... can someone please confirm. Just days ago, the Tokya Motor show confirmed the follow specs... from what it looks like now, the new GT-R will be the most powerful, all-round driving machine to come from Nissan ever... what do you think? http://www.r35gtr.com/ Thanks.

I second that idea. The series 2 stock front bar with those two globes on each side is hideous... just get a new front bar and you'll be a happy cookie....

Jun front bars look simple but tough as... good choice buddy.

I have to be honest and this is totally person opinion... but I think this paint is not too attractive as it's got too much of the purple and the pinkish look - a bit feminine if you know what I mean. Why not go eletric blue or mightnight black with gold sparkles or something.

That's weird.... very weird... as I got a Apexi Pod on my car and you can hear the engine much more louder with the BOV spooling even more aggressively... did you plug the Pod straight into your air meter without any thing in between? With the Pod, it sounds awesome.... absolutely breath-taking... check your hoses and wires also...

Looks like a Holden Barina with a bodykit... the WRX STI that was released in 2003 will always be best looking.
