Getting a front GT-R bar is not too hard, but finding that lower lip is like finding diamonds on the streets. they are rare as - look so tough so why would anyone want to sell theirs?
-
Anyone?

Dear all, I am after either a black or unpainted R33 GT-R replica wing... I am quite eager to get it put on ASAP so if you're from VIC and got one for sale, then please contact me preferrably via PM or post here. I do not mind it used or brand new unpainted etc. Regards.

Baked On Sticker On My Damn Duco ! Help !
Spunky Munky replied to immortal^'s topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
get a hair dryer.... heat over the sticker for a couple of minutes... then buy yourself a bottle of Eucoliptous oil (hope I spent it right) and with a small tower... start to crub it off slowly - it will come off!! -
Post up some pictures.... I've never seen a matt-black Skyline before... but this colour makes front lips, bars and cosmetic mods look tough... don't know about the whole car though....

Any light that is over 4,600K - I got 4,500K bulbs on - they look really bright and nice... but I know I won't get burnt for them... so yeah... HID's are nice no doubt about that... but why risk getting pulled over and possibly defected just for your driving lights?

Spunky Munky replied to Baconer's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Should fit perfectly... besides the wheel guards and the body being slightly larger... everything else should be the same (cosmetic wise)... -
License Suspesion Question!
Spunky Munky replied to Spunky Munky's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Buddy, thanks for sharing with everyone (especially me) your heart-felt story.. I am very sorry to hear this... yeah, they are really strict ... yeah, I guess I will have to sit out the next 4 months and just take it up the anus... I did the crime, I gotta do the time I suppose... Thanks again for sharing your stories ... much appreciated!! I gotta say, I feel so frustrated... I heard a mate said, he got his license suspended and when he drove his car around his street - he got court and fine a huge amount plus criminal history. FFS... that's harsh.... -
Car Keeps Cutting Out ..?!?
Spunky Munky replied to SKEET's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I use to have this problem too... I know this sounds corny... but I increased my boost, changed my battery over and it works fine... so yeah, try that and like Adam said - check your piping for any leakage . -
License Suspesion Question!
Spunky Munky replied to Spunky Munky's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Thanks fellas - all your advice are very valid and informative... much appreciated... yeah, fark - my got my license suspended due to speeding and red camera fines with the last 3 beging for driving on the wrong side of the road when trying to do a u-turn... fark..... Yeah, 2 months down... 4 to go... I think you're right, just have to do the time I guess... Thanks all... -
Hey fellas, As most of you have experienced before... my license got suspended for 6 months as I had exhausted my demerit points. So yeah, I have to wait 6 months now... fark, handed my license into VICROADS at the start of July - it's only been like close to 2 months, but I am hanging bad... damn, when you lose what you normally have been taking for granted, it makes you appreciated it heaps!! Missing the ability to drive... Now, question - not that I would... but I was wondering, if I was caught driving my car without a drivers license upon my suspension - what would be the worst case scenario?? Would it be jail and a criminal record? Cheers,

Hey fellas, Thought I'll share with yo'all a new song that I think has a good beat to it and also is quite catchy!! Tell what you think!! Although ther are numerous remix versions, I think this is the best one from the original singer/song-writer Sean Kingston... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lt6o8NlrbHg

Here's my view... I have a built up R33 Auto... I love it... I also have a Holden Commodore 2007 model for work that's manual... he's my opinion... I personally recommend the Auto Skyline... performance wise, bearly noticable if that... Manuals launch quicker at the lights... but unless you can shift gears as fast a automtically gearbox... the Auto will leave you for dead on the stretch... moreover, with Auto - you're constantly on Boost if you keep the revvs up... so you can actually drag faster and hold it there... also, with Autos... you can go for a relaxing drive and pound it when you want... a cruiser and a racer all in 1... Manuals are for people that wanna be more involving with their rides... that's about it.... don't under-estimate an auto Skyline... with the right mods, it can clock up some impressive times!

My Green 33 N/a - Now Rb25det Conversion
Spunky Munky replied to H@ME's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
That's it.... I really have a lot of respect for people that are proud of their rides the way it was built - for what it is .... for e.g. , I drive a R33 GTS-Turbo - I have mates they have put GT-R badges on trying to be GT-R's .... silly!!! I love my car for what it is... a Skyline is a Skyline... e.g. if your ride is NA - it's a super nice NA car... a Skyline all the same.... no need to put a GT-Turbo badges if it's not a turbo... however, if you bought it this way then that's a different story... But, if someone sees it and says... is it turbo - you say no, then they ask why do you have Red & White GT badges... this just makes you look silly... just my 2 cents. -
I have to say, it might just be a selected few who have had bad experiences with ebay (and I don't doubt this as I heard a few bad stories from others too) - but personally speaking - ebay is great for those 'hard to get' things - and if you do your prep work right, you may just get a bargain whilst at it.
-
That's the thing fellas.... it's these little smart-allecs that give us a bad name... to the cops and the wider community in general - when they see a sports car i.e. a Skyline, they automatically think - damn, he must be a hoon... which is not true. Farken idiot...

To confirm... all R33's do not have coded keys... in other words, no immobiliser feature which involves the use of the key - hence, you can bring it into any key-cutter and for around $8 or something, you can make yourself replacements. However, I wouldn't suggest having more than 2 as the more you have, the more likely they will be displaced and hence this could mean the more likelihood of your car getting broke into with the use of it's own key. Good luck.
