Yes, you can disable the AWD on GTR's and make it RWD only. In terms of a drive train transplant, no, both are different as one is AWD and one is RWD. Just buy a GTR mate.

Location and pictures?

If you do some research, the first pictured Skyline GTR looks like a series 2 VSPEC II NUR edition to me. Please correct if I'm wrong. Like I've said, you can get the front bar, side skirts and pods easily - but it's those diffusers that you cost you heaps if you want the genuine look otherwise go to the places people have suggested to get good replicas made. No, the Nismo kit - is toe Z-Tune look...I suggest you just get yourself a Nismo front bar, skirts, rear bar and pods and call it a day. That should complete the look unless you want the Z-Tune look. Google R34 Z-Tune GTR and you will have many pictures to look at to compare. Your call. If you want to do the whole Z-Tune look, you might as well get a carbon fiber vented bonnet. Again, have a look around and decide on what specific look you want. Good luck.

No worries mate. I got a series 1 actually but recently bought a genuine series 3 front bar from someone. No projector headlights. Definitely go BN Sports mate. Just looks more flush and seamless.

Hi mate, I love my genuine Series 3 GTR front bar on my GTR so can't really say that I'm a big fan of the Impul or M-Sports style front bars on the R33. However, if I were to choose in your situation, I would personally go for the BN style as the bottom lip compliments your Impul-style sideskirts and rear bar. It looks proportional and have a similar taste to it to complete the look. Hope that helps you decide.

Mate, here's my last piece of advice. I suggest you start collecting GTR body parts now before you do the conversion. Yes, everything can be translated across with fabrication and custom body work. Get the shell of a GTR and then transfer it across and you will notice the difference which will require custom work. It will be a BIG project, so the question is why don't you just save up a bit longer and buy a GTR?
