  1. God bless Christian and all other mods for fixing the PM messaging...everything loads so quickly too.... Thank you so so much...
  2. Thanks mods...I know you're doing a great job...I'm just a user, so I feel kinda guilty asking for things when I'm not even contributing (will donate soon though)... Anyway, when PM's return - how will I know. I have read the posts, and take it that it should be under my username with the drop down thing? Cheers.
  3. Hi mods, I know I may be the minority, but I actually don't like the new look of the forums - is there a way to reverse the scheme back to the old 'boring' looking one? If not, it's no biggie. Thanks.
  4. Can't wait for PM's...I'm actually in desperate need of a part and only have my PM's to contact the seller....please update ASAP...this is life and death situation. :-)
  5. I'm hanging for PM's to be back asap. Cheers
  6. Hey all, I need my PM's because I'm trying get an important part posted and need to communicate via PM Messages. Any idea when this will be available again? Cheers.
  7. Hi fellas, AS the title suggests, I need a R33 GTR bonnet latch asap as mine's broke and it doesn't lock down my bonnet securely. Please PM me if you got one. Cheers. KEvin
  8. Your choice of wheels should reflect whether you want to keep the car looking stock or with a bodykit. If you're going to kit it, you should go for more dish...with no kit, in my opinion, go for something that's not too outrageous. Personally, the think the Volks LMGT4's are the best.
  9. Hey mate, there was a similar thread set up a few weeks ago...I suggest you see that for better details... In brief, it seems you've applied too much wax and it's left grease residue on your finish that looks like oil or fat swirls, right? Many will give you more methodical ways of removing this, but what I usually do is go and buy a small bottle of Eucalyptus oil from either Coles or Safey and with a clean and soft cloth, apply a few drops each time and clean it off slowly. It will work...and the good thing is it will leave your car smell nice and won't damage your paint job. Good luck - it worked for me.
  10. Hey mate, sounds like the engine RPM sensor is out of wack that needs replacing or fixing. Alternatively, the problem you describe has NUMEROUS causes. Most common of these is a COIL is going bad. I upgraded mine to Spitfires and never had an issue again. The RPM gauge gets its signal from the ignition coil/crank sensor circuit (could be either one OR could be the wiring between the engine control module (ECM) and the engine components. Does the Check Engine light come ON when this happens? Whenever the "Check Engine" light comes on, there is always a DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) stored in the ECM (Engine Control Module). You'll need an OBDII (On-Board-Diagnostics) scanner to retrieve any codes recorded/set in ECM. Once you do this and let us know what, if any codes are set, then we can go from there. Besides the gauage not working, are you noticing the car running funny, e.g. pining, more laggy or not performing? I suggest you bring it to a mechanic for a better diagnosis.
  11. This may have already been resolved for you - but in laymen's terms, it's around a coke can's length...they have this stick with a wheel attached it and they basically run it under your car - if it's around a coke can's length from the ground, you should have no worries...
  12. Hey mate, yeah I agree...plus it didn't have rear pods - besides that, looks like every other R33 to me...
  13. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... nicely put!
  14. I have MSPEC side skirts if you want them....PM me if you're interested... $100 neg. With the weathershelds, you have keep an eye out on the Sales threads or ebay...quite rare...I personally like them....doesn't look very nice, but works...
  15. Not mine of course, but this is one tough looking GTS-T.
  16. Good choice of rims...I love them! If fish some a few dint and scratches, I wouldn't even put a bodykit on...looks really clean.
  17. Hey mate, I'm after a R33 GTR bonnet latch. Would you have one that you want to sell? Please PM me if you do.
  18. Looks very clean mate...the rims match your simple but slick look too - what are they?
  19. Black = stealth and safe look. Chrome or silver = a bit of bling (nothing wrong with it) and stands out more. Other = I like gold ones too...looks tough, eg.g Volk GTC's...but pricey and you gotta have the matching bodykit to go with it... At the end of the day, your call and you'll be driving it...
  20. The trick is to get as much painted together at the same time as possible - as it would be cheaper for the panel beater to buy paint and do it in one hit. In general, getting both the front and rear bars painted and fitted would not cost over $1K. In regard to the stickers or body vinyls as some may call it, I personally suggest you stay away from them, but if you like that sort of look, it would cost around $400 plus labour at some rate to get it done. I wouldn't pay more than $500. There's nothing wrong with Ebay bodykits, but just make sure you do your research and read the sellers feedback, as you'd get a good feel of how a seller does soon. Good luck..
  21. Yep, will require some modifying...but not hard to make it fit...however, make sure you ask your panel beater to fill the gaps with either bodyfiller and paint or something as the gaps between the rear bar and the edges of the rear pod will be quite noticeable. The Top Secret rear pods are quite similar on my GTR.
  22. Hi fellas, thanks for all your help...I really appreciated it...I ended up order 2 pairs from Ebay from some manufacturer based in NZ. Only because these looked more heavy duty and were factory painted black which matched my rims. The JustJap ones look good too but are silver which would stand out and would be a easy target for the cops to defect. I've opted for more width at the front because I have a staggered offset. I know it's not recommended for GTRs being AWD, but it has not posed any issues for me yet and it's not that I race it at the track or anything so all good so far. Cheers. Kevin
  23. Thanks matey...also, would different size spacers harm the car or is it ok?
  24. Hi fellas, My R33 GTR is currently running LENSO D1R Wheels. Offsets are 18x8.5 front and 18x10 on the rear. I recently bought some wheels spacers and they're just wrong. The stud pattern appears to be wrong and is too long so they just won't fit. Your help urgently would be much appreciated... Please advise which of the following spacers would fit perfectly? Thank you so much in advance. http://www.justjap.com/store/home.php?cat=269 Also, is having different size spacers on the rear and front bad or is it still ok? I was thinking of going 20mm at the fronts and 25mm on the rears.
  25. Hey mate, I got some GTR sideskirts that I can sell for real cheap, $100 the pair, but they're painted black. PM me if you're interested.
