  1. Hi Ash, yeah, I'm going a bit paranoid here - please forgive me. The other thread was more about how the heck do I clear the defect and how to extend the expiry date on the notice, whereas this thread is how to freak do I avoid any another of those yellow fuucckaass as along the years, I've had 4 yellow fairy canaries and 2 EPA emissions tests...seriously...for the love of God.
  2. Thanks mate...your words have given me inspiration as I'm so close to giving up as I'm going paranoid...seriously, I love the GTR but it's getting a bit much and I find myself feeling paranoid on the streets... I will spend some time in research how to hide the fuucckasss...
  3. Thanks fellas...I used to be a bit of a "ricer" to be honest, e.g. stickers, big wrings, decal stuff like that...now, I'm sick of it and love the clean and stealthy look...I've made my car look stock as a rock besides some nice Volk rims and a carbon fiber bonnet, the car looks stock as a freaken rock. I think the trick is to hide, tuck away and make the car look as stock as possible. Besides that, there's no other way, right? I've learnt a few things...thanks all! Any other suggestions? It's the BOV, PODS and Power FC that I always get done for usually...now with the BOV, I love the Ssshhttt sound of the atmospheric blowoff valve sound...just can't go back to stock...cannot, cannot....please God, please forgive me as I have sinned....with the PODS, I must have it too as I love the fluttering and sucking sound...and the Power FC - I need it for engine management, I even went as far as trying to hide my hand controller under my seat once but the guys in blue know where to search nowadays - any suggestions?
  4. Mate, you have a very different Skyline that's for sure. You might get better responses on Carsales.com.au or something...
  5. No, the above manufacturers don't make lower or non-standard seat rails. You'll have to go to a car seat or upholtery place and get custom rails made up...I don't know of any places that do them that are still open nowadays, used to be a place in Melbourne...uumm....try giving a mate of mine, Freddy from Topstage www.topstage.com.au a call and see if he can help you...I know it does a lot of custom stuff. Cheers, Kevin
  6. Nice colour choice...whether it's pretty or not, one thing is I've never seen another Skyline with this colour on the roads! You do realise that after the paint dries properly, it will slightly change and then set - this will be it's actual colour thereafter. Remember to give it good drying time mate...there's no rush...I suppose.
  7. They would look nice...however, you would need some 25mm spacers on front and rear to bring it out a bit as the GTR's have the wide guards and GTS-T's don't...besides that it would look hot. Search for it on Google, heaps of pictures.
  8. It looks customised, basically it's: a slightly back-leaning freestanding GT Wing that uses the exising holes. The "T" section of the wing is just a straight metal/CF rod with two end-caps boted on. Give Freddy a call of Topstage www.topstage.com.au and say Kevin with the black R33 GTR sent you - he'll be able to help you customise this if you wish.
  9. Hi fellas, As the thread title suggests, I am just sick and tired of being defected by the cops all the time. As we all know, each time it is such a time waster and is so costly. Furthermore, I drive safely and considerately on the roads and don't hoon or anything but cops always chase me and give me grief and even once said that my car is a "cop magnet." Anyway, long story short - I've recently bought a R33 GTR Vspec and want to keep this car as stealthy as possible, I've taken of all the badges including the GTR ones and removed all stickers...however, the next step is to make the car defect-free...how the heck do I do this? I've heard about getting the car engineered and be given an engineer's certificate...I have no idea what this is or where I can get this done in Melbourne - can you guys please shed some light on the matter. I'd really appreciate referrals with contact details and estimated costings; all I can think that the GTR has that might be defectable are boost controller, Apexi Power FC, Twin Pod filters and a Blow off valve. Please give me some support here fellas, it's driving me insane and I find myself scared shitless sometimes when I'm driving around and a cop follows me...please share your experiences. Many thanks, Kevin
  10. Without getting too technical, a full exhaust system (with muffler and piping provided plus installation) that is from turbo direct to the exhaust muffler without a resonator, would cost around the $1K mark, I have a Nismo exhaust that is turbo back - apparently cost the previous owner over $2K fully fitted, so I guess it's ok...depends a lot on the piping, installation and the muffler too. Mild steel? I suggest you go full titanium where possible. What brand is the thing? Do your research brother instead of just going around splashing cash when it may add nothing or little performance gains to your ride. Good luck.
  11. Yeah...I know, but I'm caught up with work in Sydney for the next 2 weeks...do you know of any places that can "help me out on my behalf"? Would appreciate it if you can give me some pointers whether here or via PM. Thanks.
  12. Hey mate...I suggest you contact the following places directly for more information... - Finance companies and banks for FINANCE. In general, if you are an international student, a bank would have provisions to loan you money, e.g. you have assets up to a certain amount or can prove that you can have good income/cash flow and/or you meet their residency requirements. Best that you talk to them directly. - Insurance companies to INSURE the car. The only two insurers that I know that will definitely insure Japanese imports are www.justcars.com.au and www.shannons.com.au , give them a call and ask for specific details. I don't see why they cannot insure your car. - Local Mechanics to SERVICE the car. There are many places that can service your car. I suggest you go somewhere local. Ask around and get some quotes. Otherwise, if you are near the Western suburbs of Melbourne, I suggest you perhaps give Chasers Motorworks ago - I am a regular there, just say Kevin with the R33 GTR sent you. They recently tuned my car so I'm sure they will give you a hand. Visit their website here: www.chasers.com.au . Good luck.
  13. I'm a fan of the boys down at Chasers... www.chasers.com.au . Done all the mechanical work and tune on my car...couldn't be happier.
  14. Mate, no one can afford them - to be put it bluntly, and if they can, people would normally go Recaro's, Sparco or Brides...why, I don't know...possibly because they're brand new perhaps.
  15. Pictures pictures!!!
  16. Hey mate, yes - it is black in colour. Basically the bottom lip of the bar is cracked and definitely needs re-fiberglassing and resprayed. It's not totally rooted but does need work. If you are prepared to re-fiberglass it, sand it down and only spray the bottom slip area, whether at a panel beater or with a spray can (will be fine as just the bottom lip area), it can be fixed. Everything is is fine. I am home this coming Monday 14/12 at any time after 5pm so you're more then welcome to drop by if you want. Let me know. PS: Sorry I do not have actual pictures of the damage as my camera is not working but what I have described is exactly what's on the bar...besides that, the bar had been resprayed black a couple of months ago so it still looks very good.
  17. Looking really good mate...so what colour have you chosen to go with it? Dark Gold? Top-Secret Japan style ah?
  18. Hey mate, do you still have the GTR front grill?
  19. Contact Freddy of Topstage www.topstage.com.au
  20. hi mate, my gtr is at the workshop getting tuned with new performance mods. Cosmetically, it is just a r33 gtr vspec with a genuine Nismo 400r front bar, that's it. Doesn't stand out too much. I'm actually doing the opposite to you, I am after a stealthy look. have taken off all my badges too.
  21. Ferah, after speaking with you - I'm very pleased that you had recovered the vehicle but am sorry to hear that it was returned rather damaged. Allow me to take liberty in posting your Ebay ad here in hope that other Toyota Aristo fans may support the sale. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/toyota-aristo-show-...=item2c522da42d Mechanically the car is still fine...I'm sure the body work is restorable with some patient and handy work. Damn bastards...when I last saw it, it was fine...what a bunch of bastardds...hope they get caught and hung! It was nice talking to you again. Have not seen you for months. Kevin
  22. Free bump as I'm a sex prono fan of Ray's LMGT4's...if they're the Ztune GTR spec 18 inch ones in black - then I'll grab them! Best rims to ever grace a Skyline EVER period.
  23. FERAH - I tried calling you, CALL ME KEVIN ASAP: 0411 381 824. I just saw those fuccckaas again, heading towards Altona via Geelong road, I think they live around the West Footscray/Altona/Braybrook area...they look like homeless fuccckass...definitely one black guy and one asian dude (not being racist) but that's why they are...I don't have either of my Skylines so cannot chase them was on the fucckeennn bus home from work. CALL ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS OR GET YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO DRIVE AROUND THAT AREA AND YOU'LL BOUND TO SEE THE FUCCKAS...I cannot believe how casual they seemed...acted normally...definitely saw the car's rego as WXT 166.
  24. Car spotted in Footscray!!!! I saw two males - one African and I Asian...I chased the fuuckersss down Ballarat road but lost them at St. Albans . I suggest you contact local police asap...does the car's engine have mechanical issues? As it sounded quite rooted.
