I agree. 20s are way too big for an R. Would have preferred 18s to be honest. So they are work rims. You think these rims would suit a r33 gtr?
-
mate, it's going to rock...make sure you pace yourself.
-
Hi fellas, I'm interested to know what rims are these...and rough estimates about costs? Thanks.
-
Ah not again...so sorry to hear this...OMG!!! It's distinctive alright...I'll keep an eye out and will tell me friends to do the same too...with all the Blitz cop stuff going on at the moment, I'm sure they'll be stopped...I suggest you go to the cops ASAP to report this. Kevin

Hi fellas, I'm trying to clear my garage out and came across some items I know someone will want like... 1. A set of genuine R33 GTS-T front guards complete with GT badges + Genuine R33 Nismo clear indicators. - Nismo indicators new cost me $60.00 from Ebay... - Front guards would be around $300 a pair... - New R33 GTR side GT badges cost me $60 from Justjap... Conditions is quite good and is black in colour with the usual small scratches but nothing major. That's a total value of over $400...I'm willing to let them all go for $250 a set to the first buyer as I just want them gone!! 2. A fiberglass R33 replica GTR front bar (without indicators). Is jetblack and has a crack on bottom lip that needs to be fixed and minor scratches on sides. Cost me $450 brand new from Jetspeed. Wanting to sell it for $100 due to damages. Does not come with GTR front indicators. Pick up only from Sunshine VIC area. Please PM me or SMS/Call 0411 381 824.

Can A Defect Notice Clearance Date Be Extended?
Spunky Munky replied to Spunky Munky's topic in Victoria
All shit...this is what I did not hope for...ok so I got the defect notice like on the 24th of November...the 7 days leisure drive is obviously over, now in a couple of weeks it'll be the 24/12, does this mean after this date I won't be able to clear the defect anymore by way of driving from and to places but instead have to tow it? I've been trying to call Vicroads all day today and their phones are busy...I'm currently interstate so cannot go there physically...I would really appreciate if someone can please confirm this as I'm now stressing my arse of and worrying that I won't have a car to drive around in...fark fark!! -
Can A Defect Notice Clearance Date Be Extended?
Spunky Munky replied to Spunky Munky's topic in Victoria
Thanks mate...and thanks to all that have commented as well. So to sum it up... The defect notices states that I must clear the defect by 24/12...I probably won't be able to as I'm currently interstate for work and won't be back for another 2 weeks, so does this mean that; even if it's past the 24/12 - I CAN, still drive it ONLY to and from Workshops to get the car fixed and eventually to VicRoads to get it cleared legally? I'm not going to use it for anything else besides this purpose and most of it will be done during the mornings only. So even if I do not clear it by the due date, I can still drive it to get fixed and then VicRoads would still accept my RWC and happy to clear the Yellow Fuccckaa right? Thanks all!! -
Damn....Daniel, you're going full ball with this, aren't you...make sure you pace yourself...modifying your car too quickly can cost a shitload and ruin your love for your car as you'll get bored when it's all done and you've driven it around a few months...slowly slowly mate...if your car is a GTS4 - make sure you Rb26DET and turbo kit the f**kaah!

I'm subscribed to this thread. I like your idea mate...but I'm just worried that all that 'mixing and matching' of bodykit parts will make the car look wierd...I've never mix and matched parts before so I don't know but fingers cross it will look nice. You should have gone Do Luck front bar or 400R front bar...as all the other areas are a bit 'extreme' and yet the GTR front bar is probably going to look to tamed for the rest of the car. However, it's coming along nicely mate...good luck with everything...

I have to put my hand up and say, I'm guilty as well...got defected for the BOV... Ok, like Nismoid said...keep the stocky for better fuel economy and stuff like that...get an after market BOV if you want the SSSHHHTTT sound...oh yeah! Yeah mate, $50 bucks sounds right. I bought mine from Autobarn for around $35 but that was like 2 years ago. $50 now sound about right...up to you mate. You need that adaptor. Personally, I say return the HKS SSQ altogether...makes shit BOV sounds and you gotta run so much boost through it for it to do anything...and it doesn't flutter either... Good luck.

I cannot believe this thread is still thriving in the jungles of SAU. Lock it up please. However, before you do...ha ha ha ha...I think Tiger Woods is a dickflop, an ugly rich fucckaaa that is over-rated as a nice guy when he's actually a cheating mofo. But who cares, right? He's a celebrity - has loads of cash so he can do what he pleases.

Z Tune Style Bonnet For R32 Gtr
Spunky Munky replied to Hiroshima Screamer's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
This is debateable. However, no carbon fiber bonnet should be legal or ADR approved. The reason of them being not illegal is simple, if you have a car accident, the's front end would smash right through the front and flames would burn through CF much quicker than metal could - so it's a safety issue. So, technically speaking, no CF bonnet is legal unless it is wrapped over metal. Please correct me if I am wrong. -
Front Lip For R33 S2- What Can I Use?
Spunky Munky replied to Yeedogga's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Read my post here mate...I say CF the fucckaa... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Li...ml#entry4979548 -
I personally say take it off. It just looks 'cheap' and not suitable. I know how bad you want one of these fucckasss mate...I wanted one for my R33 GTS-T a few months back too. There's two things you can do mate... 1. Ring up Nissan Australia and order a genuine R32 GTR front bar diffuser (lip) and affix that to your front bar, but it won't be cheap and will take around 2 months to get here. 2. Buy a replica GTR front bar and saw the lip section off and then buy yourself a carbon fiber wrap roll and wrap the whole bottom lip in carbon fiber and then screw it back on as separate piece...would look sexy as...a few people have done this before and I've seen one in real life - it looked tough. So there you have it mate. Good luck. PS: Notice how I didn't suggest you get a genuine R32 front bar...this is because you'll need R32 front guards or it'll look weird plus it would be like $2,500 plus postage to get over here then there's the front guards issue...so hence, not a smart thing to do.

Fitting A Full Monkey Warehouse Kit
Spunky Munky replied to 89 Cefiro's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Hi mate, not a problem - you're welcome. We're all here to help. Just returning the favour. I know what you mean, fixing and adjusting is one thing - adding or putting on a bodykit is another. Yeah, just follow my steps and you should be right. The key is to make sure you put in as much screws to the reo bar of the car and the side skirts as possible. Try to at least screw the sides and also put some screws in the centre of the front bar, e.g. to the front grill as this will add stability. Where you cannot drill or screw - use liquid sealants...e.g. liquid nails or the like. Good luck and yeah, post up some pictures mate! Kevin -
Now, this is an interesting question...one that I have done some reserch on so here are my limited findings... 1. As everyone knows or ought to you, a spoiler is to there (traditionally and physically) to increase downforce and basically cut the air as it flows onto and then over the vehicle's roof. It's purpose is to guide the downforce and diffuse it from the car's roof towards the car's rear hence adding aerodynamics and stablity. So yes, it does have a purpose. 2. A vehicle's spoiler ought to be engineered according to the vehicle's shape. A vehicle's shape affects how aerodynamic it is during high speeds, so the spoiler should be engineered to work with the contour of a vehicle's body to add aerodynamics and stability whilst increasing downforce which would ultimately mean that the car would be more steady when travelling and, in theory, therefore would consume less fuel to move forward. So yes, the shape or design of a rear spoiler is important. 3. A lot of people do not know that a rear spoiler and a wing are totally different items. In short (and you can click on the link below for more details), in race cars, often big gigantic wings are fitted. This is to help level the car and to keep it stable and as close to the ground as possible during sharp turns at high speeds. Somewhat similiar to the wings on an aeroplane, levelling and control are amongst some of the things the wing is designed for. Whereas, the main purpose of the spoiler is aerodynamics, to guilde and defuse gathered air from the roof of a vehicle towards the rear of the car. Althoug it also helps stablises the car - it's main purpose is aerodynamics. In my personal opinion, the R33 looks best with the GTR wing. Moreover, the GTR wing blends in nicely with the contours and shape of the R33 Skyline hence adding aerodynamics so the R33 GTR wing would be the ultimate spoiler for the R33 Skyline hands down. Anything else would be for looks or personal preference. HOWEVER, and I must stress this...all of the above is relative when you're doing like 100 km/h or more. Anything lower and aerodynamics wouldn't really be an issue or noticeable. On a personal note, I used to have a GT wing on my car years ago. I took it down some roads that allowed like 120 km/h driving and can tell you that it felt as if the wing was actually creating more friction and you can actually feel the car tilting side to side a bit with high winds. To test the theory, a few months ago, I took my Skyline down the same road with a GTR wing on and felt that the car was more steady to drive and felt more stable. Now, whether this was due to the rear wing/spoiler - I don't know. REF: http://www.autoanything.com/body-kits/51A23.aspx I hope I have put your query to ease somewhat. I personally would not let anything besides a R33 GTR wing grace my R33 GTR. Period. Cheers, Kevin

Hi mate, I take it that you're referring to a rear diffuser, right? Well, if it's a Nismo product, there's two things that will set it off right away for you. Firstly, it'll have a genuine Nismo product label inside the kit. My genuine Nismo R33 400R front bar has it AND yes, all genuine stuff are ABS plastic not fiberglass or carbon fiber. Hold it up and look at the quality - you will be able to tell if it's genuine or not. Moreover, how much did you pay for it? Good rear diffusers range from $600 to $3K sometimes. If it's cheap you'll know it's either a bargain or a fakey!

Can A Defect Notice Clearance Date Be Extended?
Spunky Munky replied to Spunky Munky's topic in Victoria
Hi Ash, thanks for your reply mate. Yeah, I think you are right but I will ring up and check to be sure. Neverless, having the registration suspended is bad enough - this means I won't be able to drive anywhere for the purpose of getting the RWC. If you have anything more firm please upload. Thanks. -
Can A Defect Notice Clearance Date Be Extended?
Spunky Munky replied to Spunky Munky's topic in Victoria
Yeah thanks buddy...your comments are much appreciated. Makes sense, guess they cannot just cancel my registration because I am interstate on business and cannot attend to my car especially, like you said, it's approaching Christmas for God's sake. If you come across anything else, please let me know. PS: For those of you that have PMed me...I got defected for my GTS-T recently. I've purchased a R33 GTR and its' also getting worked on at the mechanics, so I'm freaken carless for the holidays - how bad can it be...plus on top of that, I'm interstate for work for the next 2 weeks and won't be back before then at all. If you guys have anything more firm from Vicroads, I'd really appreciate it if you can post it up here. Many thanks! -
Nissan Skyline 1996 R33 Series 2 Gtst
Spunky Munky replied to j_dewhurst's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Mate, I'm not going to flame you...but you're absolutely incorrect. All R33 Skylines have rear wipers unless removed. With exception only to the GT500 race cars in Japan (and as I said, only if removed). Done. Resolved. Move on. Free bump to poster. My suggestion to you is put up an ONO price bracket or you'll get dreamers and tyre kicking offers all day, every day! -
Mate, are you interested in a swap with cash your way? I have a R33 GTR VSpec with genuine 400R front bar and sideskirts. Car making very good power to rival what you have. I recently bought it but now have a fetish for a R34 GTR. Please tell me if you're interested asap before I lose my erection! LOL

Are you interested in a swap with cash your way. I have an awesome jetblack R33 GTR Vspec with low K's and the mods to produce close to as much power as what you're producing with a modifications list (although more modest) sure to please. Please let me know if you're interested.
