In theory yes...but because they are so lite and don't always fit tightly like the stock ones do...all it takes is constant airflow and a bit of bad luck and bang - you not only get your bonnet cracked but also your windscreen - not cheap to say the least...plus, can potentially be dangerous too...imagine driving at 100 km/h plus and then the bonnet flies upwards and hits you right in the glass... I wouldn't definitely pay the $240 and get it fitted properly too!

R33 Gtr Front Bar On Gts-t + Do-luck Sides & Rear
Spunky Munky replied to a topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Hi mate, Firstly, welcome to SAU. Now, there is nothing wrong with putting a GTR kit on a GTS-T as the stock look, in my opinion, doesn't look very aggressive although it's ok. However, if you got Do Luck side skirts and rear pods...I suggest you spend some cash and get the plain GTR ones as the Do Luck side skirts are a bit fat looking and just wrecks the slick and simple GTR look. Otherwise, purchase a Do Luck front bar...you can even get one from Ebay for around $350 posted. I personally like the simple but tough look for the GTR kit all around. Good luck mate! -
Anyone Know Where U Can Get Skyline Car Bras?
Spunky Munky replied to leethal's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Go to the original and the best... www.carbra.com.au - they will make it custom to your front bar. Not cheap but well worth it if you're planing on going for a long cruise somewhere that has a lot of bugs, stones or dirt! -
Most standard employment contracts now include "code of conduct" clauses etc. I must say, you should always try to separate your private life with your work life. Posting a comment about your manager on Facebook in your personal time is quite unprofessional. Moreover, posting it where you know other people that work with you can have access to is even worse. All it takes is one person to tell on you and it's done. If I were you, I'll go in pleading guilty and just ask for their understanding as this is your first time and you meant no harm. Lesson to be learnt. Do not post stuff about your work on the internet where other people that work with you can have access to. It's basic, really it is.

Easy - just set it to 15 and decrease the amount of fans, say, 2 instead of 4. Get it checked out if the problem is still there.
-
Re-gas yes - but also check your hoses. Get a qualified mechanic to check it out! Good luck.

Where are you from? Provide additional details and I may be able to help you further.

Go to a wrecker mate...I'm sure you'll pick one up for less than $200. A friend of mine needed a few weeks ago, rang a few wreckers and found one pretty easily. Try Pickles as well. Good luck. -

If you got it tuned properly...I don't think it's the copgyback ECU...instead, I think it's your coilpacks, AFM or sparkies that's on the way out...get a mechanic to test these out and replace as necessary...it should then be all good mate. Good luck. -

R33 Gts-t Feeling?
Spunky Munky replied to skylinelova07's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
In my opinion, you won't get a nice PULL from a stock R33 until you do some basic mods, e.g. Pod air filter, Blow off valve, front mounted intercooler and possibly some new Spitfire coilcovers and NGK spark plugs - this is what I call the basic mods. After these, you will experience a good hike in power. Added with a boost controller you'll be hitting the 200 kws mark and from here you will feel the joy. Modify your car slowly as once you've done everything you'll soon want to move on to another car. -

Hi mate, many thanks...I think I know what you mean...I will try to push the rails out further a bit as the shape of the railing is perfect just not the length - so I think what you said makes a lot of sense. I will give it another go tomorrow morning as suggested. I'm going to take a day off work to do this...love the GTR seats...I gotta say, no racing seats is more comfortable imo than the stock GTR ones. I will report back tomorrow so that anyone else with this issue can also learn of this...many thanks! Regards, SM -
Hi fellas, I recently bought a good pair of R33 S3 GTR seats for my GTS-T and thought it was direct bolt on but it doesn't seem that way. By this I mean, they came with rails already intact, I just unbolted my GTS-T seats (also with rails intact) and tried to bolt the GTR seats directly into the holes but noticed that the front ones are off the spot, i.e. the GTR ones seem to be smaller and just don't seem to bolt onto the sockets of the car as they're a bit further away from the bolt area of the seats. So I thought about it and was wondering if this is the right way of doing or should I use the existing GTS-T rails and bolt the GTR seats on them? If this is the case - how the heck do I remove the seats to bolt on to existing GTS-T rails? Thought I'll try here first for some help if not, I'll think of so way to modify the GTR seat rails to fit but would be more of a hassle. Please share with me your experiences and what you did? Many thanks, SM

How much for front fenders? -
Hi all, I have a nice pair of R33 series 1.5 seats for sale. They are in good condition with no rips or tears. I recently upgraded to GTR seats so letting them go for cheap. $200 firm. They usually go for $250-$300 plus postage on ebay etc, but I'm letting them go for $200. If you want a replacement set or want a pair for some other vehicle you can buy these. NOTE: They do not come with spare rails. PM me or SMS/CALL me on 0411 381 824.

Hi all, I recently secured a purchase for some GTR seats from intersate (I'm from Melbourne). Does anyone know or know where I can obtain the specs for a set of R33 GTR seats, i.e. the length/width and weight of them? Moreover, does anyone know of a good courier that can transport something from interstate at a reasonable cost? Has anyone ever transported a pair of GTR seats before, how much did it cost? I bought a pair for $600 in great condition. Not too sure if the costs of transporting them down to Melbourne will still be worth it. Thanks all. SM
