  1. Hi mate, Yeah, I had a fairly lengthy chat with Aaron actually - top bloke and really helpful too...spent over 10 minutes telling me how I should get my mate to pack the bonnet to avoid damages and he didn't make a buck out of me - I respect this and will definitely speak to him about importing a R34 GTR when the time comes. Yeah, Transdirect is a really good service to know of...thanks...
  2. Hi Daniel, Thanks for the heads up mate...I spoke to Aaron - it was an absolute legend...gave me heaps of tips and referred me to transdirect.com.au , these guys are really competitive, got a quote for like $60 and I have booked it all in. Many thanks for your help mate. Cheers, Kevin
  3. Mate, do it properly and you will harvest more power and do it wrong then you'll blow your engine, stuff your gearbox up etc... quite simple really...
  4. Hi all, I went to a group called transdirect.com.au and they are absolutely competitive...got quoted, $53.00....and will get transported next Wednesday...awesome!!! Thanks to all, but honestly, for a hood, I cannot pay $160-$250... Thanks fellas!
  5. Hey mate, it won't let me make an estimate. How much roughly do you think it would be? I'll call them tomorrow but wouldn't mind knowing roughly...thanks.
  6. Nah mate, I was kinda expecting at least $60 and willing to pay up to say $90 for delivery...best quote so far was like $160 or something...still too much honestly...I've sent stuff up to people in Sydney before and they usually tell me that it would cost under $100... You know of any good couriers?
  7. The seller mate, or else I wouldn't be complaining... do you have any others in mind? Thanks.
  8. Hi everyone, I recently bought a CF bonnet from another forumer from Sydney and need it couriered down to Melbourne at an affordable price, for some reason everyone is asking for so much in fees.... I was told and have heard it would cost only like $100 or $65 but I've been quoted anything from $250 to $300, please help out... Many thanks, Kevin
  9. I know that TopStage in Melbourne VIC may have some or they can make you some custom lips... Visit www.topstage.com and speak to Freddy...really helpful guy!
  10. Yep, roll the edges in a bit, then fiberglass it back and then sand into place.
  11. Thanks mate... I have been twisting and turning...the thing with the r33, it's famous for the round indicator lights at the front...so I'd hate to change the vintage look, but everyone has them...don't know what to do...what do you guys think in terms of alternative indicators?
  12. Hi fellas, I need your help. I just bought a CF bonnet off another forumer, now face the dilemma of having to get it picked up and transported down to Melbourne. I have called around a few places, they are all charging heaps...I was told it would cost no more than $65.00 or less...I don't mind the wait, just want it to reach me safely in around 2-3 days. Can you someone with a little experience please help...many thanks! Kevin
  13. Yes mate, all R33's have the same boot size, hence it is a straight bolt on. Cheers.
  14. If it means anything, I am going to put these in my car as my front indicators...looks hot and smoked too - what do you think? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=220332986621
  15. That's absolutely amazing...but the question is...is there anywhere in Australia that does this and if so, how long would this foiling last?
  16. No more than 2 inches above stock standard...however, check with legal bodies to make sure...but I am pretty sure this is the case.
  17. Hi Shane, Thanks for that mate... I am so looking forward to getting them done but pictures would be super. I will PM you now. Thanks again, buddy.
  18. Looks way too high and naked...
  19. Any Topstage flares on R33's??? Very interested but wanting pictures. Cheers.
  20. Yeah, the ones you mentioned for trailers etc look cheap and shit...I'd rather save up and buy the real thing...up to you though...
  21. Get copies is easy...try Ebay, firesport.com, nungun.com, justjap.com.au and nismo.com.au as well as other places, however, be mindful of the suitable bracket...wrong bracket means they will not fit flush and will look like shit.
  22. Damn, never knew we had someone big people on SAU...hahaha....You're not fat for your height mate... Anyways, like he said...GTR seats are both comfy and give good head room.
  23. Interesting concept. Not my cup of tea, but would stand out that's for sure... Mate, if you going to do this, make sure you have a consistent pattern in mind, i.e. go black boot, black roof and black bonnet. However, you'd have to obviously repaint your roof and rear boot. Will cost a bit of cash and time. Good luck, I'd be interested in seeing your pictures.
  24. If you decide to separate the bodykit, I'm sure it would sell better...e.g. I wouldn't mind those side skirts.
