  1. Hey all, thanks for your replies... this answers it nicely! So there aren't any differences after all - what do you know. So does the 40th anniversary edition one have anything that's different? Cheers.
  2. Interesting... I don't think this is the case...although, it does sound logical - thanks mate. Anyone else?
  3. I like them... they're "racey" looking but yet still got the bling to it... very tough looking especially on a black R33. However, perhaps you can lower your car a bit more so that the tyres fill the guard just a tad extra - as this would make it look perhaps even tougher.
  4. Hi all, I have heard a few comments and just want to clear this up. I noticed some Skylines do not come badged at the rear with anything to suggest they're a R33 GTS-T or a GTS25-T. However, I have always assumed that the "25" was just to represent the RB25DET engine this models after 1996 to late 1998 had the new "GT25-T" badge and there aren't any differences between the two, is this correct? However, on the other hand, a few of my mates suggest that the GTS25-T models came with some extra goodies...can someone please confirm this...many thanks. SM.
  5. Hey mate, The one ebay had the computer as well...but the seller was saying the computer needed fixing... hence, I think $2K AUD is reasonable. This sounds usual, but chuck it on ebay - you will sell it sooner or later. Good luck. Cheers, SM
  6. Hey Dean, post up some pictures when your car gets it's new paint job ok... thanks for your help. I will leave feedback for you - please do the same for me.
  7. Seriously bro, if you're too lazy to even post up some pics and a proper "for sale" ad write-up... shows your not too keen on selling your car. Pictures will help bro... it might be a really good-looker...
  8. Yes mate - straight on... the boot for all R33's are exactly the same size.
  9. I would say around the $2K mark at least. These screens are ultra rare, and I think I saw a guy on ebay wanting $2,500 AUD for it plus postage. Hence, I would say, nothing less than $2K.
  10. Hi fellas, thanks for that... contact details would be great... I think it would look hot on a dark Skyline, say, a black Skyline... I would love it.
  11. Nice, I love R33/R34 front end conversions... I think an R33 body with a R34 front is the bomb!
  12. Make sure you clean the surface of the dash first... then, go to Coles and buy some goo strips... they're clear gooey blubs of disposable sticky stuff... not super glue so can be easily removed without scratch your dash but strong enough to hold your stand. I got frustrated too, until I discovered this... I think it's made by 3M too. Good luck.
  13. Hey mate, Unfortunately they only operate in the NSW regions. Any Melbourne contacts? Cheers.
  14. Mate, I am very very interested. I don't care what others think, it's personal preference after all and I love it. $100 for this is a fair price to pay consider that that person actually comes to my door step, it's cheap if anything. Yeah, it's more for looks - but I think on a black R33 with 18 inch rims, it would look hot. Can you please hook me up. I suggest you post it here so that everyone else who's interested can also contact this person otherwise PM is fine also. Many thanks, PM.
  15. Hey mate, I agree. Would probably suit darker cars. So, got any ideas where I can get this done?
  16. I got my car tuned there too... the good thing about Chasers is that they will also work with you to achieve the results you want... e.g. I wanted good mid-range power, good response and an overall daily driver kinda tune - they helped me achieve this and will also give you tips on how to get what you want out of your ride. I highly recommend them. All the guys there are good people.
  17. Some more pictures that demonstrates what I am after...
  18. Hi fellas, As the topic title suggests, I am after some advice from you guys on whether someone's managed to put red lines around the edges of their tyres. I think it looks awesome and makes the car stand out so much. All in all, I have seen about 3-5 cars in the past few months with this done. One time, there was a black R33 Skyline at Tyre Power in Sunshine, Victoria with 18 inch rims and it had red lines running around the edges of the tyres. It looked totally awesome and was clearly on the tyres not the rims (as I know you can get rims that have this). Too bad he left just as I was about to ask him where he had this done. However, I've asked a few panel beaters/paint shops and apparently they think that some places can get these fade-proof red lines (circles) painted onto a vehicle's tyres with pin-point accuracy by utilising some computer-controlled painting tool. I was wondering if anyone on here has achieved this before. If so, please share with everyone some of your pictures/experiences and please do tell where this can be done and the various steps involved and the cost of it? I live in the western suburbs of Melbourne and want this done. If you look at the attached concept picture, the red line is clearly on the tyres not the rim - I personally think it looks nicer if it is on the tyre not the rim. Thanks in advance. Kevin
  19. Allow me to add... last others have said... N/A's will only have 4-stud wheels, and when they revv, you won't hear a sucking sound... I don't care if you have a stock airbox or a pod filter or not, N/A's will not have a sucking sound. True that if a turbo Skyline has a good pod filter and front mounted intercooler there's more of a chopping, spooling, sucking sound and ppppffttt sound... even if it doesn't have all this, you still hear a sucking sound... that's probably the easiest things to look out for.
  20. Hey mate, would you accept $150 plus postage? PM me if you're interested in my offer. Cheers.
  21. I will give you $40.00 - let me know if you're interested. PM me if you are.
  22. Do you have the side arm (front window) insert thing? Coin holder cups, I think they're called - I want one for the driver's side of a r33. If you have it, I'm happy to pay around $20 for one. PM me if you got one. Cheers, SM.
  23. Hey Alan, long time no see... Mate.. the original Nismo and GTR bars look fine... however, on a GTR, an aftermarket copy front bar just doesn't cut it... e.g. if this bar was on my GTST, then I guess ok not too bad... but on a GTR, I was just saying it deserves a bit extra - don't you agree?
  24. Hey mate, clean ride... nice... love the rims... but for A GTR, it deserves a better front bar.
  25. Congratulations on the new ride mate... working hard sure pays off when you get a new toy ah? Mate - the car looks really clean, but the rims don't suit it... you may want to dry something more like 'race rims.' Besides that, looks awesome.
