  1. Now there's another idea... thanks buddy... much appreciated!
  2. Hahah.... give me the cash and I'll pay it quick smart! lol
  3. Justin, you're a champion! Your help is much appreciated, no really, it is... I was pulling my hair out... 3 months is a life-line! That's great... I don't mind not driving my car, it's more so the payment that I was concerned about... all I need is more like 1 month and I'll be good again... thanks mate... and others too!
  4. Bro, you're on a roll alright - you're bagging Skylines on a Skyline forum - you got a deathwish or somthing? Don't you drive one yourself, if not then why the heck are you on here? Shesshh...
  5. Yeah, this is exactly what I was worried about... shittt......... I hope Justin911's comments are valid... damn it... bad timing with the rego but I guess at least it's only once a year... anyone else with similiar experience?
  6. Hey mate, thanks for that... if this true, then that's great... all I need is an extra month - that's all... ok, I'll give VicRoads a call tomorrow morning... has anyone ever extended the payment of their registration fee yet? Aso, is there any truth in my friends comments about how it is harder to register a vehicle after having it off the road etc.?
  7. And oh... just to clarify... please be there before or at 6PM at the above carwash... we will leave there at 6:30pm sharp! Thanks all!
  8. Serious? But will my car remain registered ... well, registered pending payment or will it still be off the road etc? Thanks mate.
  9. Hey fellas, Ok, let's try to get this right this time... Seeing it's the old lady's birthday today - and we're all having a free day off work to celebrate this...let's use this excuse to organise a West Side Skyline's meet. I was thinking perhaps we all can meet up then go for a drink to catch up a bit... good opportunity to meet some other Skyliners from the West. OK, as for the location/time etc... Proposing a meet for Monday 9/6 @ 6PM, then we go for a drink at Maccas in Sunshine - should not take longer than 2 hours but will be good for everyone to meet new people... There's a car wash called "WASH ME", I think, I am referring to the one that's 2 minutes from the Caltex Petrol Station in Maidstone - once you pass the Caltex, you can't miss this car wash as it's the only one in Maidstone and will sick out like a sore thump... Below is the address and map to the Caltex petrol station - find this and you will see the carwash right next door... http://www.truelocal.com.au/business/caltex/maidstone HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE!!!
  10. Hey fellas, Just a quick question... well, my vehicle's registration is due in a couple of weeks for round $500 or or so. The thing is, I just bought a property recently and financially things are quite tight as we've had to purchase a lot of homewares and appliances as people do after having just moved into their property. Anyway, I'm finding it hard to pay for the above registration coming up in a couple of weeks and was thinking of not paying it (leaving the vehicle unregistered for a few months) - of course I won't be driving it during this time and then re-register the vehicle when I can afford it. However, I've been told by some friends that with new laws and the amount of aftermarket mods on my car, it will be very hard to re-register it, say, after 2-3 months as I'll have to present the vehicle for a full inspection again before VicRoads would apply me to re-register the vehicle -hence, they suggest that perhaps do what I can to register the car to afford the above happening seeing that there is a chance I may not be able to register the vehicle anymore. If the above is true, then of course I'll have to make big cuts to my budget to make payment otherwise I can simply not drive the vehicle (whilst leaving it unregistered) for a few months and then re-register it when my financial situation is better. What are your thoughts on this matter? Many thanks, Kevin
  11. I'm in the same boat as you... hahahah... When you think about it, they'll both some close to eachother cost... CF copies will be around $750 and FB ones will be around $500 but then you'll have to spend another $250 or so to paint the damn thing, so both will be the same... then why not go CF? You can get them from various places, i.e. www.carmate.com.au, www.nismo.com.au go buy it off some of the forum sellers here... Good luck.
  12. Hey there, if this is the one you're referring to: http://www.creatdmotorsports.com.au/galler..._serialNumber=1 It's definitely a Top Secret copy front bar, but the area where the vents go, they've cut it out to allow more airflow I guess... if you want this look, just ask the bodykit place you're thinking of buying your front bar off to do this for you when they've finished moulding it. Good luck.
  13. Fellas, As the subject suggests, can someone please tell me what bodykit is on this R33 and the bonnet is hot too - where to get these? Thanks all.
  14. to sum it all up, lancers, civics and commodores are on the hit list for sure!!
  15. So you say... if you have, good luck!
  16. Hey fellas, Honest to god, I bought it off someone on ebay a couple of months ago - it worked out to be around $35 delivered so that's why I'm just trying to get what I paid back. However, if you guys think it's over priced, then fair enough I guess I got done then. Not trying to rip anyone off - but fair enough, if that is the case then I'll let them go for $10 bucks each ($20 the pair). Ash - if you're interested mate, PM me... Thanks fellas.
  17. IF you don't get it in 3 weeks's time max - you're screwed... it's shit but it does happen... hope it goes well for you and the thing works... if it does, you got it at a good price mate,,
  18. True... but then again, there are heaps of people on here who think the R32 looks tough and all that... I'll have to differ but respect their views... each to his own... and yeah, the red always been it goes faster...
  19. Like the other fellas have said... BOV's are 100% illegal unless stock from the factory... but you will notice that most stock turbo cars will have recirculated or plumb back BOV's... I just couldn't resis the Ssshhhtttt sound so I took a chance... got defected 3 times for it... but I had to push on as the let of sound is too addictive... up to you...
  20. No doubt a monster, but the R32's looks aren't impressive at all - but I'm sure it's a beast of a car.
  21. Really - please show me a link, I'll buy more just for the sake of it if they're that cheap.
