Another Day, Another Bowl Of Rice
Spunky Munky replied to lingeringsoul's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
good job mate... doing it yourself puts you intouch with your ride... it gives such a kick, does it! -
There's a new product called 3M invisible adhesive gel or something... they look like guey little drops of gel or glue - although they stick on nicely, they actually do not damange your paint work... so yeah... pretty good... go to Autobarn and give them a shot or something. Cheers,
-
Mate - that's weird, unless your ebay account is barred, you should be getting everything fine... Well, don't worry, give www.justjap.com a call and order them - they're called Nismo style clear r33 side indicators - I think they look much nicer than the stock orange ones. They should cost around $70.00 from memory - could be a bit more or less... Good luck.

Rear Brake Lights Upgrade
Spunky Munky replied to Marco-R34GTT's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Seriously, stock tail lights for all R31, R32, R33 and R34 look tough as... why change it to some thing that's ricey and piss weak like LED lights... yuk... that's just me though.... -
I like them - more so because not much people have these kits!

Resprayed My Wheels Yesterday. Pics/write Up Inside.
Spunky Munky replied to Lukaz's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Now, we're just missing a pic of them on your ride. Good work mate - they look very nice. -
Mate, firstly - I share with you how you feel... I went through exactly what you did... and oh boy, am I paying for it... To cut to the chase, hire a solicitor... if you want a good one and a reasonable price PM me as I got a good, young and understanding guy I can recommend to you ... you will spend heaps on legal fees.. but whatever you do, do not get the dangerous driving charge as it's a 'criminal offense' and will stay on your criminal record for 10 years... which means, if you go to top-tier interviews for jobs and they do a reference check - you're screwed! Watch out!

Anyone Know If There Is A Tyre Place Open On Sundays?
Spunky Munky replied to eddieeeee-ro's topic in Victoria
Seriously - go to TyreFactory - look them up online - although they're always busy... I don't think fixing a tyre puncture would be an issue. -
Hooking Up A Playstation2 To My Skyline?
Spunky Munky replied to Spunky Munky's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Sorry mate... i did read your post... it's just that mine is not a slimeline one and I won't be buying one as I got a lot of backed up games hence gotta chip it again etc... I asked a few people and they said that using a carcharger cigarette plugin could cause a melt down... so yeah... I guess I have no choice but to buy an invert switch. Thanks mate. -

Hi all, sorry that I could not make it... apologies - my bad... but at 2pm it rained down hard and when I jumped online got so many "I could not go" messages - plus, a lot of cancellation sms's ... so I thought due to the rain etc, everyone could not go... I apologise for the poor organisation - next time, a roll call must be employed as I need to know how's come and who's not... we'll organise this again soon... once again, sorry to those that came... Regards, -

Hooking Up A Playstation2 To My Skyline?
Spunky Munky replied to Spunky Munky's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Hey bro, how you going? I got your PM - ha ha ha... I get it by the digits now! lol Wow, you're a chef - cool!! Yeah, would be interested... But hey, is there any way to run the playstation without a inverter? How about the car charger thing that some have said?? Thanks. -
Hooking Up A Playstation2 To My Skyline?
Spunky Munky replied to Spunky Munky's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Thanks bro...... yeah, I won't play for long, just a 40 minute thing for me and my mates to smash around street fighter games, I guess... lol.... yeah, I guess I'll do that... I'll pick up the inverter soon then.... I'll just hook it to my dvd screens on the back and do that... not too concerned about the sound extra... just something to smash around in... lol.... You got some pictures of your setup? I'm not sure how to put the clamps onto the battery - that's the only part I am not sure of. Cheers. Kev -
Hooking Up A Playstation2 To My Skyline?
Spunky Munky replied to Spunky Munky's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Thanks fellas, I just went to Autobarn - found that I have to get an inverter than connect that to the battery and then just run it as usual. All in all, probably cost me $80.00 - I guess that's the only option then. Only thing is, I have 2 amps, 1 sub, 4 speakers with splits, a DVD deck, neons all around and under the car so I am worried the bettery won't handle the drain... however, I do have an extra heavy duty Century battery - do you think this will suffice? Thanks, -
Hi fellas, AS the topic suggests, I finally have 3 DVD screens in my car now and it's time to do some ICE to it... got sub/amp, dvd screens etc, but now I want to be able to play my PS2 inside my car... the good thing is it comes with RCA cables so hooking it up for sound/video is the easy part - now how about the power? Where should get feed the power to? I was thinking just wired it to the cigarett lighter but was worried it won't hold 250V's - any ideas from people with experience on this area? Thanks, Kevin

How To Tell Difference Between Fake/genuine
Spunky Munky replied to R-SPEC's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
For the pros, they will tell you that the feel, the look and the embroidery of the seats themselves can be said to be genuone or not... however, some points are... 1) Originals have a Recaro flip-tag which says made in Recaro USA etc... 2) The word "Recardo" on originals have a small ® - which stands for registered trademark on them. 3) The material of originals feel harder and more tougher and are more darker red (or whatever the colour may be). 4) Originals should come with 3-strap racing seatbelts (unless ordered without). So yeah, just some pointers. -
