West Side Carwash Meet - Calling All Skylines.
Spunky Munky replied to Spunky Munky's topic in Archived Events
Nice - should be good turn out... I got some good locations in mind (and of course will be open for other suggestions too) but yeah, will take heaps of pics at 2-3 locations... and will post it all online for downloads... will be great as with summer coming to close relatively soon, this should be good... Let's make an effort fellas, I am hoping we will fill up the whole carwash place with nice round red lights... bring your friends, your family ... Let's put in the effort... this is definitely on!! -
Some GTR's smash their front bars, hence they have to go aftermarket or some just want an aftermarket one - hence, people will say it's not genuine - fair enough, I'd say... not saying your's after market, but it may be... Secondly, rear pods were factory options on GTR's ... I think it makes them look tougher... kinda looks different without them... but without pods, the rears look more defined.

you seemed so surprised... this is old as history itself... not so rare.... The funny thing is, he chucked a r34 GTT front onto a R33 GTS (looks yuck as)... but, R34 GTR front on a R33 GTR body and rear - sexci!!

Looks nice, but I would have gone a bit darker blue... yours (don't know if it's just the photo), look more teal! But nice. -
Let me make it simple for you... RICE refers to ASIANS as ASIANS eat rice pretty much all the time just like the bloody Indians appreciate their Curry (and there's nothing wrong with these normalities)... Now, most ASians drive hotted up Sports cars.... most are ALL SHOW and no farken GO... some examples, you say? OK, a lancer with an loud farty exhaust, big rims and a full bodykit... it's still a 1.8 litre granny car... or, a CIVIC... I farken hate CIVICS, especially the hatchback ones... the same, exhaust, stickers, lights, fake recaro seats etc and they think they own the god damn world... big wings, little gadgets inside that do absolutely nothing but looks racey.... that's RICE. Enough said... I'm going to have some rice now.... yumm.....

OMG, would have been a horrific experience and a life-scaring one at that. -
Thanks mate... I guess I'll have to cop this up on the anus... I guess, it's only another 5 months then I am back to normal - I have to encourage myself as it's so depressing... I have to literally beg my pals to drive MY CAR everywhere... the power... and I can't drive it... I was dumb, so be it.

Hey fellas, In the tradition of carwash meets, was hoping most of the guys on the west side of Melbourne would like to meet up at the carwash just on the side near the Sunshine cinemas complex area that's close to the Coles Petrol Station... Date: Saturday 9th of February. Venue: Carwash @ the side of Sunshine Cinemas complex in Sunshine. Time: 3pm - will wait until 4pm. Plan: We take turn washing our rides then we jet off to some locations, e.g. Docklands etc for some photoshoots then go to dinner, e.g. Sunshine, St. Albans or Footscray. If you're interested, please leave your name down... I'll start with me and a mate... Spunky Munky Slouch

Help Me Defend The Skyline Pride
Spunky Munky replied to R33_Rob's topic in General Automotive Discussion
There's nothing to defend mate... it's a bit like saying; a Toyota Corolla rocks up next to you at the lights and starts mouthing off at how shit he thinks your Skyline is - who gives a rat's arse... we all know which is better... that's the main thing... To truth is, the Supra engine is amongst one of the toughest to come out of Japan - however, said that, the RB engine is much more durable, sounds tougher, has much much more modifying potential and, if modified right, has the potential to produce much more power... and don't forget, the Supra is much heavier than the Skyline... and hey, what you think, a Supra or a Skyline looks better - I think Supras look hideaous! At the end of the day, who gives a fark what he thinks... am I right? -
Fellas, Firstly, it is really much appreciated that everyone has given their time and thoughts - it is much appreciated, really. Now, good question about the 6 demerit points thing... it's been nearly a year or so now so forgive me if it doesn't stack up entirely, but here's what basically happened... I'm still on my god-damn P's because 4 years ago I was involved in a car accident and, long story short, got my license cancelled for 12 months - after this 12 months, I had to go for the driving test etc again and got my license back only to find I had to go back on my P's plates for 3 years as per every other newbie that's just turned 18!! arrrrhhhh but ok, let's more on... So, I get my license back around 2 years ago and decided to buy myself a Honda Accord, it came with some engine mods and I drive it as usual; within the first 3 months, racked up camera speeding fines - the reason being the wheels that this Honda Accord had were 2 inches bigger than stock (fark me if I knew) - so I kept going like 5-8 K's over all the time, bang copped 4 demerit points. As you guys know, on P' plates you only have 5 demerit points for the period of your 3 year probation (something like that) - so I got 1 point left... a few months past, then I accidentally ran a red light - and that was it... VicRoads sends me this really nice green-looking letter giving me two options 1) hand the license in for 4 months or 2) be really good on a 1 point bond. Half a year past and everything was fine - then I had to drive to my fiance's place in Noble Park for some family gathering (with my Mum in the car) - on the way back... here's what the 6 points were... I drive up to the Princess Highway area to head to the City, I see cops everywhere - I shit myself and did a U turn to go to another route, the cops saw me and ran after me as if I was a criminal (2 cop cars chased after me) and told me to follow them - so they take me to a quiet road, do all those random tests then give me a fine worth 3 demerit points and a fine for "driving on the opposite direction of a one way road" - I mean, for f**k's sake, it was empty and I just needed to do a quick U-turn - but fair enough, I was wrong so I copped it on the chin... so he fines me and tells me I'll lose three demerit points and sends me off... at this point, I knew I was f**ked already... so I drove of anyway... then the farken copper radios his mates, 3 cop cars came chasing after me like 500 metres down the road from where the first coppers booked me... the told me to open my hood up - and defected me for my BOV, POD, Boost Controller and wheels being too low... new law, apparently, says you lost 2 demerit points for a defective vehicle - so that's around 5 points now... then the bastard walks around my car and points out that my P's were not displayed clearly... which they were, I had P's at the front and the back - but he said they're not bright enough.. so we had a verbal argument but he forced the fine on me and that was it... another 1 point for that... I had fines coming out of my arse... and that was the end... oh worth adding that I had written to the traffic authorities and all were denied so I had to pay up... once I had paid, Vicroads then sent me a letter about my 6 months suspension... Then came the Magistrates court - from now where, the Victorian police sends me this summons about something that had happened years ago - I went to court, fined $1,900 and given an extra 1 month suspension - so that's 7 months... fair enough, so this ends this March... now, they tell me that I gotta do the time for the 4 months as I had broken my bond.... Aarrrhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Well, I guess I gotta do the time... but surely, I must do something as I need to drive to help my mother out... does anyone know anything or anyone that can help me please? Thanks all. Kevin

There's a thing called google - use it... it is a Jun wing - a replica of course ... might not be as nice but it's a copy alright.
-
ha ah ah ha...word of advice - if you keep this wing, make sure you don't tint your car - or else you'll find it even harder to see out of the back window, especially at night. If you want a nice, clean and flush look - you can go GTR wing but every man and his dog (including myself) has one - why? Because they're nice. Cheers.

Lets put this on the table now fellas - what's the real difference between an inline 6 and a V6? Performance wise, wouldn't the V6 make more torque?
-
Hey fellas, I ran out of demerit points July last year and, long story short, had my license suspended for 6 months, then had to go to court for for another separate driving-related matter, which saw the suspension extended for another month - that's 7 farken months I haven't officially driven anywhere. As per VicRoad's advice and my recollection, I get my license back this March - been hanging each day... now I came to Vicroads today on my day off work only to find that they wanna whack another 4 months on top of everything now which will see my license suspended until July 2008. Why? This is they they advised me... back in July 2007, I had reached my last demerit points, they gave me 2 options - drive on and be a good boy or hand in my license for 4 months - I chose the drive on option ... anyways, went to farken Noble Park and in one night copped something like 6 demerits points off which meant a license suspension is a sure go... so fair enough, 6 months loss of license due to running out of all demerit points - then the magistrates court whacked on another 1 month - now, they say, because I had broken my initial bond (by have the above accumulation of demerit points lost) - they now want to whack on the additional 4 months - which is farken bad news... Man, at home, I need to drive as my mother is ill and partially blind so she can't drive, only I can drive her to the market and stuff... fark, that's nearly a hole farken year without driving already... is there any way I can appeal the above additional 4 months to either cancel it or have it reduced to 2 months extra or something? I've heard from a few people that there's some special consideration that can be given... any ideas fellas? I really need some ideas as I am so so frustrated... Thanks, Kevin
