  1. There's many places you can get it tinted mate - but I personally recommended tintprefessor.com.au - they're actually pretty good, you'll be up for around $450.00 from my memory. Yeah, that wing is called a "Jun" wing - it's pretty good, not much people have it. Up to you, but I think the drift wing is not as nice.
  2. AJ - both cars look clean - very nice. I particularly like the Jun wing - not much people have them - would recommend you get those cars tinted. Nice pics - gotta love Apollo bay. Cheers.
  3. Yep, used to be like that - bad move that's why I'm saying to stay away from them... lol I only have 1 Nismo badge at the front grill and a Nismo badge at the back bar and that's it - no other stickers.
  4. I say, just get rid of the wing and it's hideous. Got OEM Wing or stock GTR R34 wing. That's my 2 cents.
  5. Hey mate, I have to agree... I just to have this wing on my R33 just for something different (just the wing itself without sidescraps) - but I gotta say, it looks nice but the only thing I didn't like was that it lent towards the back too much - if it was straight up and across like a T then that's fine, but it kinda "ducktailed" to the back too much which made it look rather funny. Oh well, everyone to there own. For a R34 - I recommend a OEM Wing. go here: www.carmate.com - browse for your model, go to Wings and then look for the above wing I described - bet you will like it. I was going to put this wing on my R33 with custom bootlid but ended up going GTR wing as with R33's only the GTR wing does it. Good luck.
  6. You used standard King springs on Nissan stock shockies? The drop looks very nice - with 18" inch rims, I am hoping for even a more flush feel. Let's see how long my springs will last.
  7. Thanks mate - fair point but the guy in that thread obviously pushes his car a bit from the sounds of things. Too bad photos are no longer viewable. I have done much research - obviously everyone knows that getting Springs on stock shocks are not exactly the right way to go. However, for a short fix, i.e. 1-2 years and if it's only for street use, I do not see any issues with it. The stock Nissan Shocks are quite good, and you'll find with King springs (just the normal one - not the super lows) - the shocks only have to withstand around an extra inch in drop. I'll give it a go and see how it turns up. I will be getting coilovers this time next year so one year doesn't bother me. I'll post up pics of my car next weekend.
  8. mate, you'll find it that if you take the sides off and just get the side panels repsrayed... and leave the T-like wing there, your car will look pretty nice. Give it a go!
  9. Get some GTR rear pods for your backbar to complete the GTR look. Also, what's with the two different indicators for your front bar? lol Also get the thing tinted. However, it's looking good mate.
  10. Yep. So the conversion is purely exterior cosmetics? As, if you look inside, there are differences as well.
  11. Yeah mate... blending it in and get rid of the revetted holes... good stuff.... you'll have to repaint the whole panels yeah?
  12. the r33 GTR still looks best... tough as!!
  13. I don't think R33's look good with T-wings... I've had 3 and now have gone back to the GTR one... trust me, the GTR ones look much better.
  14. Thanks Trent04 and EvilWeevil - thanks for your comments. Yeah, I mounted my plates the way I did as I think it looks flush with the front grill - showing slightly upwards makes the front bar look longer. I'm going to dump my car further with some springs next weekend so hoping it will look lower and handle better.
  15. Just get a wide-body kit or get those fibre glass ones - don't use the ones above, look so cheap ... that's what a Ford falcon or something would have... not on a Skyline please... I agree, the flared guard look is hot... no doubt about it... but if you're going to do it... do it the proper way... the original pic from the thread started of that RX7 looks good... do that... not those cheap add-ons.
  16. Thanks everyone... well, here are some pictures of what they look like now before the springs (I'll post after pictures soon).
  17. Hey fellas, It was a nice day on the weekend so had the chance to take a few snaps - got some new 18" rims so yeah, here are some pics.
  18. Well, an update fellas... I got my new 18 inch... 232/40/18's put on a few days ago - looks very nice , but still needs to be dumped as there's around 1 inch of extra guard that needs to be filled. I have booked my car into Tyre Factory to get King Springs put in with full wheel balance, allignment etc this upcoming Saturday. I have taken pictures of my car now ... so after the dumpage will post both up for you guys to make a comparison. I can't wait as my car should look better with some new springs. Spoke to a lot of mechanics and people at Tyrepower - King Springs on stock shockies aren't too bad for now - but it's a short-term fix that will last 2-3 years... that's fine for me...also with stock shockies, the ride is more comfortable so can't go wrong and is fine. Until next Saturday fellas.
  19. yeah, wouldn't worry... as long as the fins are not blocked, the cooler will do its job... relax! :0
  20. Personally speaking... I find the stock R35 GTR rims look more tough... that's just me though.
  21. Lol..... you know what I mean. I would mind if it started crack OR I would be bloody pissed if it did... lol
  22. Yes and no. Yes, you can match the bodykit's colour to your car (most people do this and not resprayed the whole car as this would be silly) - get your paint code - should be at the sides of the door frames. However, new paint will never look the same as old, existing paint - so you will get a close match - but might be a slight miss-match (which is expected). Good luck. Any panel shop can do this for you. Cheers,
  23. I heard these crack after like 6 months, is this true? I am very interested but wouldn't mind my car to start cracking soon.
  24. Hey mate - oh, so you did what I'm thinking of doing? King springs on stock shocks? I think this should last 1-2 years if you don't push it too much... how's the ride? Do you have a picture of it? How big are your rims? 18" ?
  25. Cyra, you were going to go to the cops - any news? Cheers.
