  1. Are these still for sale?? ha ha ha ha
  2. Hot rims, exactly what I want if only I had that money!
  3. Mate - am some stockies as I want to fix my current rims... was wondering if they come with some shit tyres? just need some to roll around to the shops etc.
  4. From my experience, you'll up for anything between $500 - $700. Remember, its two tone we're talking about here. But yeah, the above price is for the more expensive places... aim for that bracket and you'll be fine.
  5. OOaucchh................ damn!
  6. I see... yeah, I suppose if I get them fixed then there's no need for repainting... you got any good places to recommend here in Melbourne mate?
  7. I see... I see.... thanks for your time and help mate... that means I'll now have to source an old pair of stockies or something... I guess it's fairly easy then, I might just drop them off at that sandblasting place and ask them to do the rest for me - I'll give them a week and I'll come pick up the rims the next week - I guess.... Now with the powder coating - how long do they last? I mean, I'm not after a life time of endurance, but at least 3 years? Cheers mate.
  8. Thanks Dan., appreciate your help - these "places in Melbourne" you speak of - do you have any particular place you go to for these? Thanks.
  9. Hi mate, I'm after a R33 Boot lid - if you got one, please PM with price want it asap. Thanks.
  10. I say, take it to Chasers Motorsports in Footscray !
  11. Not me either... if I had the cash, I'd get myself a R34 VSPECII GTR that's tuned by Nismo... Jap cars have the tough, streetwise sporty look, no European car can have this.... when I get older, sure, stop all the turbo, rims etc and get something more elegant... but not now... no way!
  12. Quite on the contrary, I actually think the cops are getting a bit easier... well, not quite easier, but slightly more lenient. A mate and me were driving down Princess Highway Noble Park and we heard sirens - surely enough a cop car stopped us and demanded to see our engine bay etc. We had a good chat with the cop, they were quite good - in the end he said: "look, do me favour and just take your blow off valve off and get a stock air filter put back in (as you have a frontmount - only 1 air induction mod per vehicle) - I'll let you know this time as I know it would be a hassle to clear a defect notice..." He was very good to us - I suppose you get your days. But yeah, it's getting so hard... that's why you don't really see much hotted up cars out there... most are all stock looking with probably HID's and RIMS. Not worth it ... I've gone stock for most of my car too... damn it, they're making it so hard... but suppose on the flipside, too many people are dying on the roads...
  13. Although it's really hard to tell, the R32 GTR badge is different to the R33 and the R34 altogether. The R32 GTR badge has a silver lining around the badge and the colour of the GT letters are gunmetal like whereas the R letter is darker right. In the R33 and more noticably in the R34 GTR badge, the whole badge does not have a silver lining and the R letter is somewhat indented and is more redder in colour. I personally wouldn't be fuss - just get any badge as a GTR deserves to wear a GTR badge - simple as that. Go to www.justjap.com and get them to order it for you. Cheers.
  14. Thanks buddy, you've answered my questions. Never done this stuff before so it's all a steep learning curve. Ok, so I'll have to get a set of new temp rims for my car to sit on now... bugger... better do this first before even considering getting them powder coated. Thanks.
  15. Hi mate, thanks again for your help - it always much appreciated. Mate - how hard are they to put on? Also, do you or anyone else know where I can get such a good job done for the embroidering? I want one that's exactly like in that picture. Thanks.
  16. Thanks mate - wow, I really want these... they look so nice and the quality appears to be good too - have you tried this? Thanks.
  17. Wow, that's a cheap alternative to buying new rims for sure... you know how it is, right - some times you just love your rims, it gives your car that "Me" look and you just don't want to change them but wanna fix them and get them powder-coated etc. So, step one - obviously get myself another set of rims/tyres right and remove the current ones - bring them to Northern Sand Blasting to get them to blast my rims free of rust and stretches etc.... Then step two - then get Norther Sand Blasting to send my rims to Northern Powder Coating to get them powder coated gloss black? So Norther Thomastown Blasting are: http://www.sandblast.com.au/ And Norther Powder Coasting are: http://www.powder-coating.com.au/services.htm Is the above correct? Also, do I have to take my rims off? I'd prefer to drop my car off to them, and then they hoist it up etc whilst they get my rims down then put them together again - is this possible? Thanks,
  18. Hi there Ferah - I need a boot lid, you got one for sale?
  19. Hi fellas, I think the following seat covers look trick - any idea where I can get some? I've searched on ebay etc, can't find any - please help me out. Thanks.
  20. I love my rims but they are fairly damaged at the moment - I want to get them resprayed gun metal too - I'd prefer to get a professional to do it, anyone got a good place in Melbourne?
  21. Ok, we're speaking GT-R's here... I think all GTRs stock are already aggressive as, with the exception of probably some nice rims and an exhaust, they are tough-looking straight from the factory - no need to modify anything.
  22. Sorry to hear of the accident. Check your PM - sent you what I need.
  23. To freight it down will cost a bit... nice wing though!
