Yeah, I have to agree with Police - it is mad, but looks kinda cheap - that's the only let-down but it is awesome. It's still for sale, grab it if you really want it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nismo-Speed...sspagenameZWD2V

Yeah for sure.... it would be greet for your car.... you get the added smoke effect too... lol

Clean and 'stealthy' looking mate... this is the style I like - simple... no stickers, RICE etc. Nice. I would however, get bigger rims - but besides that looks nice and clean. And oh, 1 more thing... definitely put the matt-black original lip back on - the CB one looks ghey!!

Mate, you'll need the following and you CAN fix it yourself but will need someone to respray the whole frontbar. If you want to DIY this then cool, otherwise you can get a panel beater to obviously fix it. Look, just get yourself some quick-dry filler (bog as it's known to) - sand the whole bar down to get rid of any rough surfices first - then apply the bog onto the cracked areas (both the front and under areas) - now leather the bog nicely across all the cracked areas. Give it around 1 hour to fully dry, then get some good sandpaper and sand away until the filler is fully nitted to the kit... now, apply the bog again for another layer - then do the same... I would also suggest you use some superglue to reinforce the bog from under the kit - now sand away... prime the bar and get it resprayed... I did to mine every time there's a severe crack and it's look new as the way I first laid eyes on it. Good luck mate.

Well, perhaps the poster wants to 'add' something to his car within his budget - he's rightful to do so. I mean, let's face it, we've all gone through the stage where every $5, $50, $300 dollars goes straight into the car. I say good luck to him.

Can You Get Clear Indicators R33 Gtst
Spunky Munky replied to daryl the pony's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Go to a wrecker mate... ring around... Skylines get wrecked quite often (unfortunately) but fortunate for you, I guess. -
Any R33/4's Out There?
Spunky Munky replied to Spunky Munky's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
There's a saying "a war to end all wars..." I think all Skylines are nice in their own way and subtle features!!! From the R31 to the R35 - all Skylines are nice and unique. Its just people have personal taste - the same goes for foods, clothing, music and whatever else. -
Fixing a carbon fibre bonnet is not impossible but would, like most people have rightfully said, be costly. Go to places like www.jetspeed.com.au or www.xxxbodykits.com and get yours fixed there - they will take time to fix and will cost alot - I would put in another 60% of the fee to get it fixed and buy a whole new one. Good luck.

Vehicle Modification Rules And Licence Rules
Spunky Munky replied to 99 GTT's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Thanks mate, should be a sticky already somewhere... otherwise a "modification rules' sticky should be put up as it's pretty handy. -
Is My Speedo Cable Broken?
Spunky Munky replied to Skyline34's topic in General Automotive Discussion
You have to forgive lingersoul - because to turbo Skylines with AFM's, whenever these symptoms pop up - it's rithual that we all say "it's the atmospheric BOV" as the problem is way too common. OK, now back to your car - it sounds fairly serious... I'm guess the following: 1. Get your AFM (airflow meter) checked out - could be the filters are fileld with dirt and soil preventing functionality - get it cleaned out. Or, the metal connector parts are loose - open it up and get them resoldered (20 minute job). 2. Check all your piping, hoses and clamps for anything that's unattached or loose - replug them in tightly and fastened everything nicely and it should work again nicely. 3. Next time stop putting your car on Neutral all the time at the lights - assuming your's an automatic? Man, seriously - if it's auto, it's auto stop wanting to be manual etc... doing this all the time stuffs up the gearbox... but I would also check your battery's alternator - the thing that facilitates and holds the charge. It sounds as if the bettery isn't holding well. That's what I hate about hot days, your car runs like a dog. Good luck mate.... try to the above and tell us how you go. -
Just to clarify, a BOV is not an illegal modification as the car came with a BOV in the very first place (stock though) - hence, if it's aftermarket as long as it's 100% plumbed back and not atmospheric, then you should be fine although just go to stock. WTH, boost guage illegal? WTH? Unfortunately, it's up to the cop and his dog to issue defect notices - so if he says that, you'll have to comply and clear that defect notice or else you're up the creek. I never heard about complying mods and getting certificates for them - however, I heard that you can get an engineers certificate for all your vehicle's modifications? However, it would be more than $35 a mod surely. Just go back to stock and then get the canary cleared. Good luck mate.

Everyone to their own buddy, but yeah - must agree it is RICE - can't say much about that?

I suggest that you buy (if not already) from Repco, Autobarn is good too but there vacum hoses are a bit softer and I notice when you put them on, it kinda scraps off a bit, whereas the ones I got from Repco were made from harder materials so I guess is better. Might be wrong but that's just my 2 cents.

My Wagon Got Stolen - Keep An Eye Out For Me Please.
Spunky Munky replied to Angry's topic in Victoria
Mate, before you read on please note that this is just a hunch so please do not take it too seriously as it may be incorrect. However, I went to my wife's house today to visit the inlaws in Noble Park and saw a similiar Wagon speeding down Princess Highway in the eastern suburbs, I glanced over and saw two European-looking men driving it. They drove it hard and were trying to drag me and a few other sports cars down the strip; I remember questioning why they would push a wagon that hard. I would ring the cops in the eastern suburbs and ask them to keep an eye out for it or better yet put it on their 'patrol watch list.' They drove past quite quick so didnt' catch the rego, but was the same colour, design and had similiar wheels. Like I initially said, I may be absolutely wrong, but I swear it was so similiar that I might even say it's your car. Good luck mate - I know how it feels - just be patient, I'm sure you'll get it back. -
Hang on, I'm confused... are you asking people to help you act as drivers, just you want Skylines to drive from your place to the bride's place then to the reception and then that's it or are actually inviting anyone that wants to come?
-
Lol - instant classic - custom made side-handler/stander ah? Nice work. Not sure if that would work with a Skyline though... how did you manage to tip the car over though? Jacked it up and then pushed it side ways? :-)

Mate, I know exactly the Supra you're talking about... but you're wrong, he didn't have these - if he had only these on the room near the back window, I would've said 'fair enough personal taste' but he had the big-arse ones that actually have a led tip that light up at night like a Christmas tree. Oh boy, he didn't have just ten or twenty, the guy had around 50 or 60 on all over the car. Yes, all over - meaning, on the sides of the bonnet, near the lights, on the side of the front bar, the doors, sideskirts, near the quarter panel, boot, backbar, wing and up his arse too... it looked like a Staegarsaurus on steroids. And yes, he had no idea - Rice boy... saw him on Prince Highway in the eastern side of Melbourne one morning with a bunch of other rice-burners - look like a FOB mofo. Oh well, different people have different taste - what can you do? Cheers, Kevin

Fellas, I have these on my car... I did it not because I wanna be like an EVO (mind you the EVO ones are much larger and come in a dash-like display) - but instead I think they look nice, and they do at to the aerodynamics of the car... same with the spoiler, it limits downforce and therefore allows the car to move slightly quicker when downforce is minimized. I personally like them and they look nice on my car - totally personal though. Cheers.
-
Mate... I've had the same problem... look, if you want it to look flush and all nice - you'll have to get it beaten from the inside out, filled up perhaps, primed and then the whole door repainted. It would cost around $350.00 max I would say for a proper good job. I wouldn't put any stickers etc over it as it just looks shonky as there's a steep hollowness to it if you will... save up and when the time is right, get it repainted, I know who stuffed it is. Cheers,
-
Well, it's RICE... however, I have to say, you tastefully 'riced' up your car. LEDS are nice and make the car look clean and sporty in my opinion whereas the consoles and glitter etc are your opinion so don't let anyone tell you what you should or should not do - -personal taste. Overall, nice... I'll PM you as I need new dash LEDS and might need your help - I'm from Melbourne too.

Mate, let's face it... you want a vented bonnet for the 'agressive look' - as engine bay was, you got all the air you need. I've done some research into this and unless the vens are face diagnally as in - it's leaning towards the front and it has some sort of cover on the top for running falling directly down, run + engine bay is no good. Especially, think about it, what if it's raining heavily? Then you're buggered. Think twice if you want one and make sure you choose the right one. Good luck.

Don't know if it was the angle, the camera or the sheer look of that R32 GTR - that's gotta be one of the hottest R32's I've ever seen.

Nice... nice and clean... perfect. -
R33 Gtr- How Would You Make It Look Tuff?
Spunky Munky replied to drifter 33's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
THat's it, like I said, lowered, rims, tint and that's it... no more... and definitely no stickers! -
Thanks fellas, I think I'll leave the bonnet stock... looks tougher.. IMO, either go full carbon or not at all. But thanks all.
