Just Noticed that Photohost gone offline again, so I uploaded the photo to photobucket now.
-
Thanks Guys, I have not check in for a while, didn't see all the comments. The car is there, but I might be doing something special soon so it will have some "re-work" done to the body. But the basic principle will not change, it will still be a road car. For those who read HPI magazine, you should see something interesting soon.
-
Thanks Guys, The picture isn't perfect by any mean. It was one of those "still learning" picture. But it just have a certain "mood" to it that I really like, but it is no where near what a professional photo would be. As for the kit, it does have the Garage Yanack Fender. The front bumper and side skirt is TBO The front grill and rear wing is D-speed The rear bumper is Do-Luck The Bonnet is Speed-R And wing mirror is Mine's So it is a bit of a mix.

My friend Tom Higgins who done the photos for the feature the current issue of Total Nissan just gave me some of the photos taken that night. I saw this and just had to share it... I think it is awesome. What do you guys think?
-
Thanks guys. Fix the link now so it should be working instead of a big box with a red x in it.
-
Sorry Guys, didn't know the Photohost Server went bye bye, so that is why everyone been looking a big red X for a while. If it goes awaying, please post something and let me know. Thanks. Hello Guys, I know I haven't been in for a while and I did promise you guys for the magazine feature that was back in Oct. 07. My car is now on MaxPower April 08 issue, but I won't be able to upload that feature until it is off the stand, but I did put a mention to skylinesautralia.com in that feature. Here is the Banzai Feature that was out on Oct. 07: (Click on the image for a full size readable version)

They are a cap that goes over the stock headlight... brings the light more flush against the body work similar to the R33 But it really add flavors to my LED light because it makes the lense more dark red and it also blurs the LED giving it a more 3D look. -

Agreed.... If you try too hard you really do stuff it up.... My best run came from just letting the clutch off very slowly... Before I was trying to pre-load the suspension and all the other good things I read on the net... if you just drop you clutch slowly and slip it through first, you won't shock load the transmission either... As for how people get 1.5-1.6 60ft... I am all ears... Oh, REV was 7K and just let it slip... -

Actually, UK seems to quote Engine Power. It should make about 600bhp at the hub on a DynaPack... Overall, the setup on this car isn't "modern" if you know what I mean. Short Stroke Engine (RB26) on a big single, low rev limit (7600rpm) and long gear ratio isn't a good combo for a good drag car. Being full weight with things in the boot doesn't help either. And I am runing on hard springs (10kg/7kg), so even with the damper fully made soft, the car still dosn't squad... :laughing-smiley-014: I might be looking into a GT40R in the NEAR Future...and maybe 10's sec. Again, thanks for the comment guys.... -

They are not hard to launch actually if you ask me. It is hard to launch good if you wan a sup 1.8 60ft, especially with a big turbo and a narrow powerband... Once that is done the rest is pretty straight forward. But to get a 2.0 to 2.2 60ft isnt that hard at all...but I don't know if that is consider as "good" launch in drag time. This is my frist time down the strip in the car afterall. I was just hoping for sub 12 seconds run. Oh yea, the Rear Bar is Do-Luck by the way. -

Hello Guys, thanks for the comment. Sorry for not checking for quite a while. Several things had happened since I last check in. The car has been featured in Banzai Magazine this Month (OCT 07) http://www.banzaimagazine.com/latest-issue.htm The car also have when down to the drag strip and see what is what. The Result: 11.61 @ 123MPH (Don't have the Video for it) Video: 11.9 Run with 1.89 60ft. Turn your speakers ON! So Overall, I am happy with it. -
Right, just thought I update you guys. Ran a dyno on a Dyna Pack, only had 2 so I had to disengage the 4WD system and run it RWD. All the numbers are at the HUB. I ran it 1.47Bar, made 573 bhp at 7500RPM I ran it 1.55Bar, made 597 bhp at 7500RPM However, It ran lean on the top at 1.55Bar and therefore the power drop right off after 6500RPM or so. The redline is set 7500RPM, so thats the issue too. I think the Turbo can easily make 650bhp at the hub at the top end with a redline around 8200. The turbo should be good up to 1.8Bar. So there you are, ancient turbo with not so ancient output.

Thanks Guys... I will be getting those pictures in hi res later, still waiting for it from my friend... I need a new wallpaper also. I'll post it up when I get it. I actually know what you are talking about. I kind of thought that myself also. However, it is the only way of realistically "extending" the flare so it comes down straight... So it is a case where you have to give up a clean design in order to make it look more "Butch" Thanks for the comment though... And so far the police have left me alone, so that isn't too bad. Oh, and always buckle up... at least in my car anyways. -

Hello Guys, I know you guys ask for a video of the car, but never really had a chance to take it. Decide to take the R32 for a dyno run to make sure the increase boost pressure isn't causing lean condition. It was done at a show last weekend and one of the local tuners (THOR) took 2 Dynapack with them awith all the gears. The first run made 597bhp at rear hub at 1.55bar (have to disengage the 4WD because Thor only have 2 Dynapack), but the top end is a bit leaner then I like. The Second run made 573bhp at rear hub at 1.47bar and that was much much nicer! This is a video of the first run, not the best quality, but sounded wicked in the tent. Keep an eyes on the crowd... Everyone scramble as soon as it hit full boost!!! Also, I give up on trying to figure out how to embed the video, if anyone help teach me, that would be great. -
You can get them from D-Speed in Japan. http://www.dspeed.co.jp/winker/index.html Not Cheap, and the quality isn't good. But then no one else really makes them, so we are just out of luck. By the way, what is the difference between the T45s and the T45s SPL Turbo? I was inform that I am runing a T45s turbo, I am just wondering what are the difference. Thanks...

Go for smoke if you have the N1 Headlight, they are a really good match.

Thanks for the comment guys. As for laradly, what you said makes perfect sense. This R32 does not flow, it wasn't ment to flow. And this is where it stand out from the rest of the R32. However, the Standard R32 does have a lovely curve, and alot of die hard R32 lover want to hang me for doing it to their pride... Thanks for the comment on the engine though. -

Thanks for the comment Guys... The Ganador Mirror is nice, but then everyone has it. So I took the Mine's Mirror because they are the ONLY company with REAL Carbon Fiber.. The Ganador mirror is painted carbon, and I am not going to pay all that money for a Carbon LOOK mirror. This is the full list, I am sure I miss something in there. Yes, just burn them yourself to bring the color out. Word of advice: 1. low heat...titanium go blue at low heat, and goes white at higher heat... If I get a chance to do it again, I am sure I can do it better. 2. WEAR EYE PROTECTIVE WEAR!!! A spark came out of that pannel and almost took my eye out.... But the color is great once it is done. Really make you know that it is made of titanium. Again, thanks Stuart!!! Hope to see you at a show sometime. I will be at JAE, come to say "hi" if you get a chance. -

Thanks guys, Yes, a set of deep dish wheel had cross my mind ages ago. I can easily use a 18x9.5 wheels with a -10 offset (what it is runing right now) The only reason I haven't change is because too many people with good Japanese wheels (Rays, Blitz, Weds, etc...), but there are only 100 set of these ASSO Interspeed Centerlock Wheel ever made and only 1 other person in UK have it. RB Motor in USA had the other set on their car as far as I know. So... It is a case of do I want to give up exclusivitiy for MASSIVE Bling!!! As for the Air Pod... It is a bit close to the Turbo, but I am out of room. Too much stuff under the bonnett... :laughing-smiley-014: Thanks for the kinds words again guys.... -

Thanks, given that information I probably will not bring the car to Australia then... :laughing-smiley-014: The Front Bar is a TBO Front Bar from Japan. But you are going to have a hard time finding it because the company no longer exist... There are still some copies around, but it isn't easy to find. It is not like you can just call up Top-Secret and ask for a G-Force Front Bar if you know what I mean.
