I wouldn't mind drinking a heap of iced coffee.. wait until he is forced to be stationary somewhere then drop my guts near him or something..

Can't get hardship unless u are on the doll for 26 weeks. Youth allowance (study allowance) doesn't qualify for the Q230 form. I've tried.. had this big wonderfull idea to spend 9k on an awesome bolt on setup.

HR32, Its easy if you already have a job. Get in to uni, defer the first year and dump almost all your wage off the car during that deferred year. Then go to uni with a car that is paid off or very close to being paid off. Just before you finish up work get the bank to refinance. During uni holidays I work for a labour hire company, Integrated. Each holidays I work full time, earn $$ and spend it on the car... basically. One xmas holidays bought the rb30det, next mid term holidays bought a few extra bits and I dropped the motor in. THese holidays I am hoping I will get front and some rear bushes done, a decent clutch pack diff to prevent the openwheeling, throw on an adj. actuator and have it all tuned up running 13psi.

Hrmmm this cruise is getting a little big for me. :S I'm considering either just meeting every one there or I will sit well back and cruise, when I get there I get there.

Diff - Opinion Needed...

I'm going a GTR Mechanical clutch center in my R32 GTST. They go for around $500-$650. I'm taking the pumpkin to the diff people and having them shimm it up a little, at the same time they will check it out, if its near nackered I will have the wreckers replace it with another item. It won't be too tight as to feel like an aftermarket mech. lsd but something streetable. -
I'll make a few calls tomorrow and see if I can get plugs to suit. We would have had our 10ppls if 2 didn't pull out.

lmao Ronin... Not with the little boy hanging off my side, I really can't afford to have an assult charge put against me as it WILL affect my other halfs future career. We are having some fairly serious police checks done as I speak. I'll wait until it goes through.. lol *joke* If he keeps it up I'll head down there by myself, wait and find what car he drives, I'll make sure he knows I know what car he's driving just to make him think twice, I wouldn't damage his property, just an idle threat to make him back off a little. Not that it would probably worry him as being a trolley boy doesn't pay to well..

VL's sensors work.. I haven't tested R31 items.

Hi ppls, Ran in to a Bone head the last 2 thursday afternoon's (~3-5pm) I've been at Marion Shopping Center. There's a trolley boy bloke that drives a little yellow dunga with the trolley trailer attached, he appears to be around the lower level southern side near Woolworths. He's of arab/european appearance, ~early 20's, wear's decent clothes and has a pretty boy hair cut. Run in number 1. Parked the R32, while unbuckling the little boy from his baby seat I heard 'F#@KN RICE BURNER' I looked up to see the bone head hanging his head out of the dunga as he drove past yelling obscenities. I left it at that.. Simply thought he was a wanker. Run in number 2. Other half was driving around looking for a car park, drove past the bone head, didn't even look, when Julie said whats he staring at... I looked sure enough he had stopped working and simply staring.. the type of stare that tries to start sh*t. Parked the car, grabbed the boy out stood waiting for the other half to grab a trolley. He drove past staring the whole time, pulled up near my other half where she was grabbing a trolley, he proceeded to death stare her. I was thinking WTF as was she.. Putting the little boy in the trolley he kept staring as he was pushing the line of trolley's up his trailer. As he was staring so much and not concentrating the trolleys got away from him and almost cleaned up a car, he had to run and look like a fool. lmao. ----------------- This dude has a serious issue with jap cars. I really can't belive some one is so passionate about hating a type of car. Take note ppls.. this dude will give you the stare that he's trying to start shiet... lmao... It does make me worry about parking my car there though. I've lodged a complaint and am waiting to hear back from center management. I must admit he really pissed me off.... I haven't felt and had thoughts run through my head like I did tonight since I was 18.

JulesS14200, We pay $250-$300 for a s/h Z32 AFM over here also. There's one in the for sale section at the moment... $300 second hand. lol. wolverine, Did you ask for a VL or R31 AFM plug?? Thats all you should need.
-
They used to sell to public apparently. Well the Petroject in SA, unsure about the other states. AFM group buy will end at the end of jan, hopefully we get another 2 then we can get in to it early.. Throw a link in your sig and become a post whore.
-
Go nissan coolant with soft or demineralized water. Will cost you around $33 I think it ws. $30 something anyway.
-
I called petroject today... They said 'no sell to public'. They require someone with an abn who is in the trade.

It will run fine. The AP PFC does require a little tweaking of the cranking ms. From memory the std values are: 80c - 4ms 50c - 8ms They need to be the same as the rb26 and rb25 values. being... 80c - 10ms 50c - 13ms The values below are the same for both the r32 and r33/gtr. I found it started fine, then pulled over turned the car off and the darn thing wouldn't start, just kicked over and over and over. Dialed in the rb25/rb26 injector crank ms for 50degree's and 80degree's and it starts first pop every time. The ap pfc base map will run richon the rb20det, the ign. timing isn't over the top so it shouldn't ping, obviously depending on mods and amount of boost run through what turbo. Its all very easy.. don't be scared to play, be carefull, not stupid. Don't fiddle with afr's unless you are running a wideband..
-
Best and safest bet is to grab a multimeter and see which is the earth, signal and + feed.
-
LMAO. Looks at my sig..
-
I found the ap pfc to have much better idle control over the std ecu. Overall it feels smoother to drive. Strange sensation really. Now all you need to future proof your mods is a well priced bran spankin new Z32 afm. lol

You can't skitz at the mechanic if a ~10yr rubber hose has decided to sh*t its self. BUT.. that being said he shouldn't charge you for labour as he should have had a look and feel of the hoses being refitted. Most mechanics don't give a sh*t and simply refit everything back up. The ones that do and call you up saying this is stuffed thats stuffed generally end up being viewed as a mechanic thats trying to make more $$. No win situation.

99% of the cruises i've been on we've had the usual GFXMan, sometimes Jaffa with his awesome sounding VX LS1.
-
My little U shaped hose that runs around the back of the head went, then as it was only a small leak I left it and waited until the new motor went in, THEN the little hose that joins the pipe work that connects to the in manifold went, when pulling it off I noticed there was another little hose that connected to the block that fed in to the heater hose, that too was stuffed.
-
Having an SAU only cruise prevent accidents and police attention. Wouldnt want it to turn out like an NS type cruise. At the end of the day its up to the organiser.. If they want to have a 'Skyline' or 'Skyline 4 door' only cruise then let it be.
-
Chances are its one of the little hoses located around near the back of the head - under the plenum. A real pain in the arse to get to. :S Its not so much the 40degree heat but more so the age of the car. When one starts going they soon all follow.
-
Rad/heater hoses have a habbit of letting go during the hotter weather. When it dries look for white stains caused by the coolant.

The ebc works on a fixed duty cycle to set boost. If it were a 'learning' ebc where you dial in 15psi and it learns what duty cycle required to achieve that boost level at various rpms then it would be a different story. I think maybe a boost leak has been fixed up in the process.
