  1. There's still VL turbos going around with more than 250,000ks on them, despite VL's inherit overheating...
  2. 180/Silvias are 4 stud, I have a set. GTSTs are 5 stud right? If you got an R31 they would fit
  3. http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/au/st...sp?StockID=2424 I've only ever seen pics of this kit, never in the flesh, but it looks nice, not too over the top, and retains the original indicators and stuff, not needing crappy looking aftermarket ones. Is it hard to find in parts, and are they for sale often? If/when I get a 33 I want this kit! What does everyone else think of it? cheers Stu

    greedy plenums

I've always wondered how to say that
  5. Go R31! 12.66 is an awesome time www.r31skylineclub.com
  6. They should have shown how much better traction it would have in the rain or something, since it relates to more people. All their cars are ugly now so not a whole lot of people would buy them anyway.
  7. Ah I get it, loved that car
  8. I think he means of the club members
  9. Was the 6cyl RWD runner up R31 RB20 Silhouette in it?
  10. AFAIK in WA as long as they are not on while the car is moving then they are fine.
  11. I like the exhaust tip! cracked me up
  12. Also, AFAIK, your exhaust needs to end behind it.
  13. It looks REALLY nice now
  14. Could be your powershift...if they have them.
  15. The only problem I see in buying an already highly modded car is that it would have been driven hard. Why would the seller have done the mods in the firt place? To go faster. If the seller is a good car respecting person (you would think so driving a modded car) and lets it warm up before caning it, uses good oils etc. Then I don't see a problem, unless possibly the seller knows that there is a major problem with the car that the buyer might not pick up. I wouldn't really care if it is known as the other person's car, stick some different wheels on it, and hey presto it's now 'yours'
  16. Gets me real worked up anytime a politian etc. says that, That would make your car useless for the track, if no-one is on the track then they're on the streets. Most likely someone would find a way around the speed limiter anyway.
  17. That's what I was thinking, who's car was it??? and why would they let this chick drive it, especially without them (the owner) in it? L-platers shouldn't be driving cars like that, just think back about a month to that chick who lost it in her dad's HSV and killed herself and most of her family. Can't they just do it in a bodgy old commo or gemi or something, it would probably attract less attention too..
  18. Thanks for that, my car is probably too slow then
  19. Go R31
  20. Sorry to sound stupid, but what is A12?
  21. What is the point? If they still didn't have analogue gauges next to it then it could have a use...but analogue looks better anyway.
  22. AFAIK a dedicated gas system is better that dual fuel, since there is a compromise on both fuels making less power etc. Saw a RX3 or something in a mag that ran LPG, apparantly the exhaust ran really hot and it was always buring holes in it...or do rotors have a hotter exhaust temp anyway?
  23. Depends what power it's putting out, the really high power cars are better with an auto, but stock to light/med mods manual is faster. An R31 I know of went from 16.2 to 15.8 after a manual conversion. Plus a manual is more fun tt drive
  24. I didn't see it, but 5 years for a burnout is insane! Sure it was probably a stupid thing to do.....but as you say, stealing from houses, cars, whatever is way less of a charge, You could probably run someone down with your car and get off lighter than that. TT talking shit saying it was in WA etc doesn't susprise me, they will make anything up in the search for ratings.
