my engine has done about 170,000+km, and is also getting tired. what would be a good oil to use? i was using motul turbolight 10w40, but have been advised to look fo something thicker. any opinions?

hi im replacing a 3/4 window on my car. ive managed to remove the old window without too much hassle, now im onto installing the window. the problem is there is still some sealant residue left over when i was taking out the old window. is it possible to use sealent on top of other sealant, or do i have to remove the old stuff? cheers

hi my car is a cefiro, and it has plastic autech skideskirts. you can tell they were professionally, and they used these metal brackets to hold the skirts in place. one of mine has broken bcos its been attacked by time and rust, u can see where a screw has broken off in the pic. now the sideskirt is loose anybody know if or where these brackets/clips are available? thanks

im starting to think that maybe the stuff i bought of yahoo japan auctions isnt actually stock a31 gear... maybe its for an a32. i cant fit the jack in anyway, the mount for it weird... ill take a pic a and post it up, see what u guys think

hi i got a bit of a noob question i guess. ive been lucky enough recently to acquire an original a13 jack and all the tools, including the wheel stoppers. ive had a look thru the boot and cant work out how or where the jack is meant to sit. there looks like some sort of mouting area on the right of the boot which sits near the wheel arch... is this for the jack? if it is, how do u mount it? is there a dedicated place for the wheel stoppers? thanks for any help cheers ray

there's quite a few cefiros going around in adelaide. you dont see them often, i might see a different one every 1 to 2 weeks... it would be hard to estimate the total getting around, but from what ive seen on the road so far, id say 15 and up. probably a lot more than that tho hardly ever see any laurels. in the last year i reckon ive seen no more than 3.

hi im after a brand new alternator, where can u buy them off the shelf? i know motor traders is one option, as well as, places like repco... but what are some other suggestions? my car is an a31 ceffy. i know which alternator im after, just trying to find some places i can go to and get one. dont really care on the location, but i guess anywhere central around adelaide, or northern suburbs. cheers ray
