  1. Yeah bad eh. First attempt at posting a pic. Like yours better. Do you posess this mythical thing? If so how many arms and legs will it cost.?
  2. rocking horse poo. Er, or is that unicorn? Anyone seen a real one?
  3. Interested in the dayz. Also after a front. How much for th rear?
  4. Anyone used ...http://odometer-check.com/ Looks like a worthwhile service.
  5. And also THIS PLACE - Not a very professional setup at all... I'd recommend Northshore Prestige. Even though I didn't buy from them, they were keen to help me out... I bought mine from Japlink Motors. The guys there were pretty casual, and were quite helpful. I bought the car with two bald tyres, and got them replaced, they were more than happy to compensate the cost (even after me getting it done without their approval) They had nice cars in their getting worked on, so it sort of reassured me that they aren't some dodgy ass hobo group if they have customers trusting their cars in there... Anyway thats my 2 cents. [Yep, I got burnt by "This Place...Beware.]
  6. Yep, I got burnt by said certain dealership in sydney. Beware
  7. Man Im glad to hear that . Thanks
  8. Yeah, my latest renewal takes the cake. Expected a reduction but agreed value dropped buy $3000 and premium went up nearly $600. Theyve gotta be trying it on. Im 46, clean record. Eastern subs syd. Havent rung them yet but a big WTF coming from me. _ lumley special vehicles.
  9. Man... that thing was floating around for sale in syd about 2yrs ago! Japlink motors I think. No Autech. Not even close. Obviously they couldn sell it in the big stink. Had 26000 on it. LOL
  10. Yeah Im with you. My VL was cheaper to run on gas than the wifes echo.
  11. Petrol tanks are way more likely to explode or burst into flames in an accident. Also leaking petrol goes off just the same as leaking LPG. Anyone checked the figures on it? Lpg is excellent if installed and setup properly. Had 5 gas vehicles over the past 20 yrs. Saved about 40% or more on fuel. Only problem was on a vl - exploding airbox. Fixed with a pod filter......... Airboxes explode because residual Gas sinks down the intake tube into the airbox (lpg is heavier than air) Especially after backing off from a hard acceleration, as throttle is opened again. If the conditions are right kaboom. Scratch one airbox ,and or airflow meter. Pod filter lets the gas out enough to prevent this. $20 fix
  12. Man Im with you. Twin turbo 2jz in a stag would be the just right.......if you could make it fit. (exhaust on the wrong side for a start)
  13. Pluke! Thats a phat wagon. Wish I could say I could but I cant, sorry. Hows the fuel consumption with normal driving?
  14. use anti seize when fitting them.
  15. mob in sa i think its called niswreck. I will post the ling if I can find it again
  16. If youre in Sydney call Road check. They are very thorough. If you can also, take it for a highway speed drive. And if the tyres are some odd name - especially if they are "gerruti" brand, either budget for new ones or negotiate them changing them. They are the worst unbalanceable poop ive ever had the misfortune to be involved with. Another friend had the same experience. 80ks plus and it felt like there was a driveline balance problem. Didnt suspect the tyres as we had balance and 4 w alignments done.
  17. top motor dodgy beware
  18. Yep lumley by a mile. 1200, eastern suburbs syd, 700 excess , 18k. They dont care what mods as long as its rta kosher
  19. Seems like most of the dissenters havent read much about the proposed idea. Nearly all of the systems ive seen are about using hydrogen as a suppliment to petrol. Hydrogen alone is a big can of worms for implementation on a petrol motor but as a combustion aid its a different story. Hydrogen improves combustion of most fuels, reduces emissions through more complete burning etc etc. Have a closer look. Also look at info about hydrogen cutting torches (which are available commercially) and the unusual properties of hho gas when applied to various substances. One of the major plasma manufacturers reportedly uses hydro cutting to cut their glass fro plasma screens. Again hydrogen does more to make other things burn rather than being a fuel in itself. Main problem I see with using it on an engine managed and turbo motor is knowing how much to trick computer in regards to the extra oxygen released in the process. Easy to intercept the mixture signal and transpose it but to what extent. Would like to experiment with it but not on my turbo car! Any volunteers ha ha
