A credit to the previous owner who bulit the car up to basically as it sits today. The RB25 conversion is extremely neat and tidy and the whole engine bay was thoroughly cleaned for the conversion. This car has given me no troubles to date, very reliable and running on standard boost and the extra torque from the rb25 is phenomenal compared to the rb20. The only things i have touched whilst owning the car are; installing the Bosch 040 fuel pump and i recently replaced the brake master cylinder with a freshly reconditioned unit from PowerBrakes, whilst upgrading the brake fluid to a Penrite Sin DOT 4 fluid. Price:$13,500 ono Please contact me via Pm or ring/sms me on 0431 320 803 Genuinely selling due to buying a house so Please no time wasters or tyre kickers, Thanks, Reece (Car now has premium cc plates, amber indicators, nismo gear knob.)

  12. thats a cool idea, but i personally would have got all the ribs through the pipe removed, so more there is a more direct flow. would definitely help as it won't suck in like a factory pipe though.
  13. Hey guys, i was having a bit of a fiddle the other day on my car fitting up a catch can. Popped the bonnet after driving for a while to check everything was sweet with it, and it was... BUT i had a nasty surprise. Checked the whole engine bay and found what i thought was brake fluid pissed up all over the drivers side of the engine bay (had gone onto top of the intake plenum, bottom of the bonnet, over my fuel filter etc.).. i had a quick look for any obvious leaks but couldnt see anything major. I immediately washed all of the fluid off, obviously trying to protect everything from corroding. I automatically assumed it was the brake master cylinder, as it looked to be brake fluid, so after washing it all off i got my girlfriend to pump the brakes and see what happened. There was a slight leak/ weeping from the bottom of the brake master cylinder, so i thought it was that. The fluid inside it also looked quite murky, so i thought it was corroded. I have now taken it off and bought a freshly reconditioned unit. I thought id have another look around the engine bay before fitting it and i saw what i thought may have actually been the cause.. the hicas pump (i think thats what it is) there is two 14mm sized heads on the top of the unit and one of them looked a bit black/ oily, but i checked and it was very tight. i felt underneath my alarm siren and there was fluid all over the bottom of it.... this has lead me to think that it may be this pump... anyone got a theory of which one it could be? or could it have been something else all together... I am going to fit my master cylinder and bleed all the lines etc. anyways, but just worried that it may not have even been the cause in the first place.. sorry about the essay.. kinda noobie when it comes to this kinda stuff. Thanks, Reece
  14. had a bit more of a read... i think rb26 cams are more suited for the neo motor due to solid lifters.. is this correct? will i benefit from a stock set of gtr cams?
  15. Hey guys, i am soon getting a remap for my r32 with an rb25 neo in it. I am running the typical mods (3" exhaust, Fmic, standard rb25 turbo, metal intake, boost controller, bosch 040 pump) I bought an already remapped computer (rb20 ecu remapped for an rb25, making 209kw atw with same mods as above on 10psi) which means that it is NOT remapped for VCT. I havent yet put it on my car and i am currently running the R34 Neo rb25 computer, which has not yet been tuned. If when i use the remapped ecu, will a set of rb25de cams be of any benefit? will they even be able to work if i disconnect the vct? or should i ditch the remapped ecu and see if i can get the rb25 ecu remapped and run the vct? I am guessing that i can't have the best of both worlds though.. as in: remap the rb25 ecu with vct and still run the cams... THEN ... will i need to run adjustable cam gears? Any ideas/ thoughts appreciated or if you have personally done this mod what were your results (even on an s1 rb25) Cheers, Reece
