lol... turbo tune on south road do a complete standard r33 ecu remap for $500. Everything you can tune a powerfc to do, they can do to the standard ecu. That price includes everything from A-Z in tuning a skyline.

Yeah I'm in need of a new clutch already... standard one slips like a bitch. I havn't experienced the R&R for some reason. Even running 11psi. Weird. As a semi-permanant fix I might look at a SAFC cause its cheaper than a powerFC and tune.

G'Day All, Just an update... Have recently got a 3" turbo back setup fitted, complete with high flow cat. The last few days I have just finished installing my FMIC. It was so easy, I really cant see why people bitch and moan so much about it and why you would pay someone $400+ to do it for you! Hardest part I found was trimming the front bar, and that wasn't even a challenge. Just 15mm off either end of it! I used a 3" hole saw from work to sort out the hole, first time right spot Was very happy. I lined it with C channel rubber so looks good. (after spraying it with zinc spray to prevent rust) Made up 2 brackets at work to mount the cooler, and its solid as. If you push on it, it just moves the car up and down on the suspension lol. What else is there.... a Blitz BOV that I removed and looking to sell again (gets annoying, cops looking 24/7) a pod filter; which I love and made a huge improvement with throttle response, again, can't see why people bitch about them heaps? I never tried the standard box with high flow filter... so can't compare really, it stopped a whole heap of backfiring on gear shifts when I put the pod on. Last thing I reckon is the turbosmart boost controller, running about 10psi. Reckon i might bump it up a bit now with the FMIC. The car had aftermarket shocks and springs in it when I bought it, so I may look at sway bars soon. Only other thing thats changed is inside, neatened it up heaps. Love it. MoMo gearknob, Nismo boot covers, White faced dials with blue LEDs (amecs ones) And currently all my interior plastic panels are at a crash repairers getting sprayed a nice silver. Waiting on some HID globes to come in the mail for the low/high beams. Whilst I'm working in that region I'm gonna wire them up so that low beams stay on with high beams. Also waiting on some clear nismo side indicaters. Wow... huge post Last thing Heading towards 200-210rwkw. Should have 170ish atm as I had 140 stock standard, so what else besides a fuel pump and computer/tuning do you think I will need?? Thanks fellas! Love these forums aye, helped heaps. Jack

There were two other thefts last night, guys torched the car and jumped into icey cold wetlands hahaha. losers, they got busted. This r32 wasn't stolen, just tried to outrun cops for reasons they didn't say. Weird, I know a guy with white r32 and screamer pipe who is also 18 and has successfully outrun cops before out north?? Maybe he tried again down south... car looked very similar. Just watched ch.10 news, will watch ch.7 again at 6.00 and see if they say anything different.

Cheers for the advice guys. I rang him today, mainly to say I couldnt make it by 5 cause i left work late. Won't say what happened, lets just say he's a good cop in a good mood. And I will still get my L's back in July! Can't say how happy I am, and how much I won't drive until July!! hahal :D:D

Hey All, Dunno if this is news to every1 here or not, but to me it is something new. Turbo Tune in adelaide have just cracked the standard r33 ecu and are offering full retunes for $600! Mike, (from turbo tune), told me he can tune it to every detail that you can a power FC. I have heard for years they cannot be touched, but there you go. Stuff buying that PFC now! lol. let me know if ne1 wants more details. Thanks, Jack BTW - I got my dump pipe (from exhaust technology, 3" open mouth) and a catback setup ready to go in. Might try do it this weekend :laughing-smiley-014: Still got $800 left to blow atm, so maybe the front mount? Followed by fuel pump, then a good tune Already have the pod, boost control and pointless blitz BOV. Should be sweet, 7 weeks to recieve licence back, yay! hahaha

Yeah those were my original plans before starting work... pick up a VL and slowly turn into ints an RB30DET. Things change And skylines look better. I can't loose the licence again, I need it to get to and from work big time!! + Just cars put the premiums up $400, leaving with me $4100 a year!! Thanks.

I originally was gonna import an r34 gtt for 20k, but importers sound dodgy as so I just went to a dealer where I can see what I buy. On top of that, a few dealers... eg Road Style.. have shit as skylines that make weird noises yet suspiciously only have 60-70,000 on the clock for a 95 model car? Step dad's into his cars as well, but thats another story. We go on regualar cruises on saturdays, will be out tomoz as well. I'll keep an eye out for a skyline cruise, step dad can drive for me if I don't have the L's back by then. lol

Hey all! Well... Im Jack, im 16, I live in adelaide (down south, 10mins past marion) and own a blue R33 GTS-T. Before I start getting abused and flamed... I am an apprentice boiler-maker/welder, and I have the car on finance in my mum's name. It's pretty much stock atm, has blitz BOV, HKS intake and turbo smart bleed-boost controller. In a couple of weeks, I am having a heavy duty clutch put in (6 button clutch from Adelaide Clutch, cushion something maybe? not sure he spoke to fast lol), full turbo back exhaust & high-flow cat, FMIC and a 100,000km service including timing belt and new spark plugs Car is in top class condition, I payed $19,000 for it.... but after all, you get what you pay for even if I was ripped off from the dealer. Inside is clean as, along with the outside which has nice white ENKEI rims. It's done 120,000 genuine k's (not wound back from a dodgy dealer or importer as many sadly are) so it most likely had the 100,000km service, but doing again just to make sure! Other thing I have sorted out on it was the crappy standard audio, ripped all that out and went and spent $2000ish on a decent setup, new alpine HU, soundstream splits in front with the crossovers mounted customly in the glove box, POLK 2-ways in the rear custom shelf, and a huge 1000w soundstream amp powering it all One more thing I feel I should add and get out the way... I sadly lost my learners permit in January for driving without a supervisor in my previous car (hotted up escort). Had to hand it in a week after getting my skyline!!! Oh well.. money I am saving on fuel is paying off the loan. Haha. Think thats all? I have been reading these forums for months, way before I got the skyline, just too slack to signup! Oh, and I got it on the dyno so I knew the stock-standard output, 142RWKW. Ha ha. Aiming for 190-200 to last me through my P's, when i get them..... I don't want a full ECU change over, however much I would like the PFC, but maybe one of the Greddy piggy back gadgets or something similar?? Whatever I am recommended! Cheers
