Hi Hanyou, Installation is quite simple, as with other radiator installs. We do recommend that if you are not comfortable with fitting the radiator yourself, you have a qualified workshop take care of this for you. In terms of how they compare against other alternatives, they allow the factory fan shroud to be reused/refitted unless some other brands, which further enhances their cooling ability. Our Skyline test vehicle was a heavily modified R32 GTR, with a complete N1 engine and HKS turbos producing over 320awkw. The 'Cooling-Pro' radiator has been running on this vehicle for the last 6 months without a hiccup. Regards, Steve

Hi mate, thanks for your enquiry. The Type 1 kits use chrome plated piping, as opposed to the Type 2 kits which feature a polished finish. The Type 2 kit also uses a slightly different shaped core to the Type 1 cooler. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask Regards, Steve
