Hi mate, the kits do no include a thermostat, however as with the majority of other kits available on the market you may be able to add one. We have been using them for a long time with customers in Australia and abroad without any problems at all. Currently they are in use on everything from fully prepped Targa race cars to highly tuned street GTR's. Realistically, you should not have any issues whatsoever running our oil cooler kit without a thermostat. Regards, Steve
