+1 for consumer affairs, get the whole story from them and if you have genuinly been messed about take it to consumer affairs and leave it with them to sort out.

the rattling noise your hearing is just the solenoide on the starter motor not getting enough voltage to actually throw the gear into the fly wheel and turn the engine over.charge or replace your battery and all will be well again. Jack

Not sure with GTR's but GTT"s dont flash when you lock and unlock with the factory keyfob unit. If an aftermarket add on alarm has been installed this would make your friends GTT flash. Jack

Just test the loom while turning one at a time off and on again until you find the wires you want. ether that for get a schematic and look through that.

haha need someone handy will a solderin iron and wood / plastic work? I Recomend VDO gauges too, they make a series of gagues in different designs an layouts for pritty much anything.

if i had a dollar for each time i have heard "im an electricain, i know what im doing"...... Re test the wires in the loom,you have probly got the constant mixed up with the illumination wire. It would be very very unlikly for the constant to only show 2.8, they will generally ether work fine or not at all. A quick test to see if you have indeed mixed it up. turn your headlights on and if the head unit starts working (while on acc) then you know you have hooked into the illumination wire. If nether of you are confident with it dont attempted anything further, just take it to a professional and save your self the headache. Jack

yea the high beams and parkers arnt Xenon any way,they just use normal halogen globes. only the low beams are. If you still have both ballasts and HID globes and wiring etc im willing to purchase them off you. PM me with a price if your interested mate. cheers, Jack

I think its normal, mine has a small gap too but i know mine did have weather sheilds on it as some point.i have seen a 33 that have no gap at all tho. only ever seen one however.

32's and 34's have then in the windscreen,33's do not, cant tell from the pic but if its the rear end of a 33 then that is indeed where the power antena normally goes however that is not the normaly power antenna unit so god noes what it is.

When going through the KYB listing for shocks there isnt a seperate listing for series one and two. just the same part number for both.

I have never seen that in a boot of a 32 before, looks aftermarket too me,you can see where it comes through from the cabin, factory runs dont normally go through there. have you tested it for power yet? has the car ever had a stereo or anything in it? also is there a fuse holder attached to the batter with the same cable going into it?

the black arrow points to the braket you need to get at.its just inside the gaurd, from the angle of the braket you should be able to figure out how to get to it.
