Where abouts are you located mate? if your in adelaide south i can put it through its paces for you and determine a problem with it if any. Without hearing it personally it sounds like the spider is detaching from the cone, if it did it from day one it could be that the machine that applys the glue missed a spot or something.other than that the only thing that could make that kind of noise would be a problem with the VC,if that was the case it would have probly seised by now.if not it could be your amp introducing the noise. Have you tryed the sub from another amp or in another car? EDIT: Oh and 500 rms is more then enough to run the sub. Remember an amp is like a light switch it wont put all its power out as soon as you turn it on. VERY rarely would a sub see full out put from an amp unless your pounding on it consitantly. And +1 to troys post.

pritty sure it was silver but it was under the orange street lights so i cant be sure. take a pic of your garnish lit up at night with your head lights on and ill tell ya if its urs or not haha.

spotted a silver 33 taking off from the seaford road lights the other night, had the skyline logo lit up bright red on the back of the car. Dude its too bright,looks like a brake light, put some lower wattage lLEDS in it or stop using it while driving around coz its asking for a defect.

Its been coverd before.try a search. the wires that go to the H1 globes will just be sliced into the original loom so follow them until you find where its sliced into, the compliance people normally tuck the original loom under the head light. The original loom is what plugs into the ballast,from there its self explanitory. I have never converted factory non exenons before, i have only coverted the factory fitted ones back to HID after they had been removed for compliance. If your looms just go strait to the H1 fittings then you will need to find some plugs that fit into the socket on the ballasts and wire it up from there, its a simple positive and negative. if you can post up some pics of what you have including some pics of the plugs on your headlight looms. If thats all i was going to use this unit for i already had other cheapie .5watt ones around that i could use.... The new one was bought for its higher power output, extra features and its ability to transmit and recieve on comercial frequencies.

one of these turned up today! http://www.radiogearpro.com/main/product_i...ebad7423f80a703 its a 5 watt handheld UHF,i bought it from ebay, originally its only ment to operate from 400 - 470 MHZ of course this is of no use to me here, aus CB is from 467ish - 477.400 MHZ so a change here and there internally has now unlocked the radio to be able to work from about 130 MHZ - 520 MHZ. Overall the unit is very small for its features and has a nice solid feel to it,has a good backlit screen too,considering the unit only costs $90 incl shipping its a great buy. its made my day so far
