  2. jesus such hostility... Not many girls get cars and based on how much time, effort and money alot of guys poor into them cars to girls = the enemy. Its quite simple really.
  3. I rent too (although will be homeless in a month *cries* but thats another story.) I have my skyline in the garage (alarmed, its narre after all) and I have my s13 out the back on a concrete area. However my agent says I am not meant to have it there. The garage has two roller doors and you can drive through, but they are not happy about it. I guess it all comes down to who you rent through. My chick is a right bitch, so given I only have a month left here and its not like its doing damage, leaking oil or moving far(its currently unregistered)...I'm not moving it until I move out.

    Car Impounded

wtf done for dragging when not even traveling at 50kph...fark that, seems a little rough to me however you said there was a group of ppl as well, how is it only you got done for it? So if this is all it takes for an impound, what about all those ppl who pull into the ending lanes to "get in front of traffic"? What a complete load of fkn bs. Its about now I thank the son of rajab I'm a chick. G/l with it.
  6. However the ATTS system is costly and a pain in the ass to repair with alot of possible faults that can occur. For that reason alone I'd steer clear of any ATTS equipped vehicle. Nearly all I have seen have the warning lights illuminated. That and they hardly ever are serviced as specified. Chasing a honda, stick with any "japan" built aussie delivered one(steer clear of v6 autos tho) and provided its had regular services and it will easily run for 500k+ kays with no problem.
  7. Go and pick it up in person or have someone else you "trust" do it for you. I have so far traveled to blue mountains and proabably tassie in next couple of weeks looking at turbo kits...as handing over 2k plus for no guarantee is of concern. I also had someone look at something for me in Darwin, however here I got a little stooged...the guy told me it was shagged, so I wouldnt buy it, then bought it himself. LOL There should be a service that facilitates interstate sales and checks products for condition then carries out financial transactions and organizes secure postage for us. This would certainly weed out the dodgy ppl, but I guess inturn increase prices...which defeats the reason for the 2nd hand trade anyway. haha My tip, if you dont trust it, dont do it.
  8. I have a set of 17 x 9 drift teks that I bought as 2nd rims. My panasport c5cr's are alot lighter. But for $500 the pair, Im not going to complain. On another note the polished lip now offered by koya look waaayyyyyy better. FWIW I have seen a few of these rims have issues from factory, and have seen a few crack after impact...but hit them hard enough and most will suffer the same fate. nb: weight determined by my bitch muscles putting on and taking off car, and in no way gives any indication of their actual weight.
  9. same here I have mine on the top of drivers side on screen.. oh nos...and here i was thinking I was all original and shit...lol I dont think I have been pulled over once since its been on....coincidence or...
  10. yeah little bit of piercing carnage with helmet removal. would have taken it out then and there but no one could un do my balls...

  12. noooooo there is cheaper Chinese ones available....$70 each cant go wrong...lol Thanks to all organizers and you poor ppl standing out in the crazy temps...had a good day, some awesome cars/drivers there. However getting up at 3.00am sucked...was soooooooooo tired before I even got there. Wont do that again. LOL.

    Job And Facebook

Delete all work colleagues or custom your privacy settings so they can not see. For your employer to know, someone has ratted on you? Or your profile is not friend only viewing? Either way your kinda screwed. Might have to cop this one, but during meeting def focus on how hurt and upset you were by the situation which resulted in the irrational posting, and show remorse but failing that, cry. ?? haha All the best with it. Imagine the updates you can do after they fire you?
  20. some awesome rides in here.. my shit box.
  21. same here, well may be not snappy and violent(cause mine is welded) but I have one in my 33 and really really hate it. Instead of using 3rd I now have to rely on 4th more for everyday street driving, and my 4th is a little bit special. Cant wait to get the diff out. LOL
  22. so its the check engine light? hoping its not set to high knock levels or you could be changing the engine yet again. would recommend you get it to a tuner pretty quickly for diagnosis and possibly re tune.
  23. Well Birds you make the auto field seem like rocket science. lol. Although having seen trade school first hand I'm not at all surprised so many ppl get it so wrong. Perhaps this is where the large majority of the problem lies.

  25. Ah they all love to pass the damn buck. V spec sometimes you simply have to get nasty, but only as a last resort. I had a business owner go troppo at me after his engine failed in my car 2 days outside the initial warranty period. (completely stock standard car btw no mods at all, not even pod) after many heated conversations I was lucky and he agreed to replace the engine. But here I found being nice wasnt getting me anywhere. Birds, is it really that hit or miss? Honestly? Are there any areas of the automotive mechanical field that really should and do support a error margin that a customer has to pay for? Provided things are done correctly...on all accounts, diagnosis to install whats left to hit and miss? Not having a go either, just very curious to hear your viewpoint.
