  2. Items are in north / east subs of what city?
  3. I always get Caltex 98, but only because it's the most convenient for me to get to. To be honest... I've tried 95 and 98 octane from several different retailers and not really noticed any difference in performance.
  4. I'm pretty sure you can buy battery clamps from Autobarn/Repco/Supercheap for not much money, will probably be your best bet
  5. Waking up at twelve in my clothes again, feel my head explode from a night of gin. Another night out late.

  6. I don't get it... looks to me that it is a Skyline with standard ride height... As for the wheels, far from terrible and I bet people would think they were the best thing ever if they had a brand name on them like WORK or RAYS ENGINEERING or WEDS or SSR
  7. Damn... I was so keen to join but my only JDM car is turbo Nissan and my only N/A car is Australian delivered Subaru
  8. I have nothing to back my logic... but I wouldn't imagine the radiation absorbtion of aluminium, steel and glass would be that high... Personally I think one would have more risk of radiation poisoning from living in a brick house!
  9. omg... I just used "they is" in an email to a client... how very literate of me...

  10. Some of us don't have the power to smoke tyres in the wet
  11. Leftover cake, it's what's for dinner :P

  12. Consider QFM A1RMs, they are a good bang for buck pad that you can use daily right up to moderate track work Depending of the thickness of your existing rotors you MAY be able to get away with just machining them, but rotors aren't that expensive anyway Click here for example pricing Personally, I love my Project Mu HC+s... but they are dusty, noisy, pricey, not fantastic cold and eat rotors
  13. my name is cass, i leave my facebook open at parties. remember kids, Win key + L to lock your workstation

  14. Doesn't the traction control system in R34s cut power by closing the throttle body? If this is the case might be able to get up the driveway if you use more delicate throttle control... or no throttle at all To be honest, I'm thinking either diff or tyres (or a combination of the two). You definitely won't be going anywhere if you are single spinning... I remember trying to drive my cousin's Commodore onto my lawn and I got stuck because all it could do was peg leg! Stiff springs on the rear end is probably a contributing factor but not the cause
  15. I got mine for free as it was just taking up space in a mate's garage
  16. Possibly, I picked up a little response when I replaced my manifold. I mean the more exhaust gasses leaking through the manifold, the less exhaust gasses that flow through the turbo to force more air in on the intake side. That, and I imagine any exhaust gasses that are leaking before the O2 sensor would cause the ECU to not run as well as it possibly can
  17. Problem: All the cool coilover manufacturers make shit for GT-Rs and not GTS-tsPossible solution number 1: Get GT-R hubs...Research kgo!

  18. Stainless manifolds (especially cheap ones) are more prone to cracking than the factory standard cast items, so unless you are trying to get every last kW out of your car I'd just try and source a standard one. I recently cracked and replaced the manifold on my R33, it's a little fiddly but easy enough to do. Just be prepared to have snapped manifold studs drilled out
  19. My brother changed his fuel filter in his EVO a few weeks ago, the Caltex 98 that leaked out was a clear/yellowish colour. I don't know how one can tell the octane of a fuel by the colour... I had the understanding that petrol was colourless until additives were added to it.
  20. Get a more conservative tune?
  21. I found that the Nismo thermostat was an upgrade over the OEM thermostat... but mainly because the rubber seal on the OEM one was perished and letting all the coolant through at all temps. I will admit though, combined with my 42mm radiator it never gets past 70°C on the street so I probably could have used another OEM one
  22. Yes it's normal and as far as I know it technically can be a defect. Pretty easy to wire it up to get both low and high beams going at the same time if you are really worried
  23. Who would have thought that getting your drink on when you are already dehydrated would be a bad idea?

  24. Nice photo, would be better if I was driving
