  1. A friend of mine stole me camera for the day, when I get it back I'll upload whatever photos came out nice
  2. Man... looks like it was perfect weather to rip skids (and break centre diffs...) in the Subaru Should definitely have the FailBoat ready for action next texi
  3. I hear he is an expert on parents running over their own children in their 4WDs. Too far?
  4. I generally destroy 1 tyre per texi as my vicious LSD is awesome at peg legging... though you need to factor in that I am using really shit rubber in really shit condition and I take the fact that texi is held on a SKIDpan seriously. Looking at my most recent texi experience it would seem what is hardest on the tyres is the handbrake... my tyres get pretty flat spotted by the end of the day
  5. Protip: Mr Policeman officer hiding behind a bush probably won't pin you for breaking the law if you are in fact not breaking the law
  6. Wasn't there always cameras in the tunnel? I'm pretty sure my dad got a ticket going southbound YEARS ago when he was in a rush for work
  7. I'm going to guess Magna steelies?
  8. The uncropped photo has your car in it, it just was epically blurry
  9. My photos are up! Click here! Quick sample:
  10. It's pretty easy to install a fire extinguisher, just follow these simple step by step instructions http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=4963976
  11. +11ty on this. On acceleration my Subaru sticks to the road very well, regardless of the surface; albeit some power understeer which is countered with using less throttle. However, as Matt said and I have experienced it doesn't change physics... 1,500 odd kg of car sliding sideways will want to continue sliding sideways until you pick up some traction or come to a stop. Personally, if I had spent that amount of coin on my car, I would keep the GTS-t... you certainly will not see that money back Considering I have probably spent under $4000 in modifications on my GTS-t, I would sell it for a GT-R in a heartbeat
  12. Yes, but if you remove some of the words in your post...
  13. I bought my Riceline before I got my full licence and was never pulled over for anything. Things you should know: 1. My car was standard. Standard ride height, standard intercooler, standard exhaust, standard lights... STANDARD STANDARD STANDARD! So the car itself didn't draw excessive amounts of attention 2. I was constantly paranoid that I would be pulled over, so my driving reflected such. Road rules were srs bsns! So much driving didn't draw excessive amounts of attention. 3. I am the first Australian owner of my R33, so there wasn't any bad notes on the rego to make me any more suspicious. 4. There is only one traffic violation to my name, so I'm not flagged as someone that needs to get their arse kicked. 5. Where I drive I am lucky to see one police car in a week. So! If your car is loud and gawdy, you drive like a complete dick, you or your car has history of being driven like a dick and/or you live in an area with high police presence... I'd keep a jar of lube in your cup holder
  14. Spotted Kinks both Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon on Mona Vale Rd. I wonder if I can make it 3 days in a row

    Wakefield

That's a bit misleading... people take unregistered cars down on trailers all the time. I remember calling Wakefield to double check at some point and they said something along the lines "it needs to be roadworthy, ie doesn't drop fluids, tyres in reasonable condition, wipers work (in case of rain), brake lights, ect ect" To be honest I'm yet to go to a Speed off the Street day where they even looked at my car

    Wakefield

Wakefield have a calendar online that shows upcoming Speed off the Streets days, I imagine that these will be available to be redeemed at any Speed off the Streets day. Speed off the Streets do not require any booking, just that you front up with a car, a helmet, appropriate clothes and some cash http://wakefieldpark.com.au/index.php?opti...s&Itemid=44 As for people staying away from your car... that all depends on what kind of people you get on the track with you, but generally waving faster cars past is a good way to make sure that they don't stay too close for any long periods of time

    Rage!

When I crashed my R33 a few years back I got most of my parts from SSS Automotive in Girraween. Off the top of my head I believe that the lower control arm cost me around $100 and the radius rod cost around $50.I bought a brand new rack end from Nissan Parramatta for around $90. All parts I got on the same day. Protip: S14s and R33s use identical radius rods and lower control arms
