  1. You have no idea how devistated I was when I found out that my FailBoat didn't meet the requirments to enter
  2. "Vehicles entering the Shitbox Rally must be under $1000 including roadworthy / registration" Might throw some coin in your direction soon
  3. I have adjustable Whitline bars and I have them set to their hardest settings front and rear. Worked well for me with 595RS-Rs and standard everything else. Definitely better than the hard front / soft rear I had initally had (could only do hard front as I had bent my swaybar end link ) Beauty of adjustable swaybars is that they are pretty easy to adjust (when your car is at standard ride hight ) throughout the day. Start with big changes at one end (ie, hardest to softest at the front) and work your way down as you figure out what works best for you
  4. Trading post and your local paper's classifieds would be a good place to look. Salvos / Vinnies might also have some of the stuff you are after If you are after a cheap bed in a hurry, I suggest going to a camping shop and picking up a swag and a sleeping bag. This will keep you warm and relatively comfortable, as well as a handy item to have in the car after a long, hard night on the cans At this point I’d like to point out that the TV / TV cabinet is really a luxury and probably should be considered last
  5. Goes hand and hand with
  6. Ratchet spanners! 'cause using an ordinary ring spanner is shit I bought a 10 pce set (10mm to 19mm) from Blackwoods through work for around $160 around 4 years ago
  7. Just spotted a blue M35 Stagea in Terrey Hills. Had Enkei GTC01s, blue RAYS wheel nuts and what appeared to be R34 GT-R / Z33 Track Brembos. Two words. Do want
  8. You have no idea how interested I am! Problem is that things a are little tight for me financially atm. Provided that nothing unforseen comes up in the next month and / or people who owe me money start paying some back you may very well see me and the FailBoat out there
  9. Or my car which has been running a black bar on a white car for the past 11ty years
  10. lol @ FailBoat Especially the part were I lock wheels up going into turn 2
  11. A better question would be how hard do you want to take it? The first few track days I ever went to I only used OEM Nissan pads. Seeing as I was new to tracking my car I took things pretty easy, I think this is why I never came off the track with smoke coming from my wheel arches. One day I got to the point where I needed to change pads and decided then to get some higher performing ones (Project Mu HC+) I haven't used them myself but a common theme I keep hearing is that QFM A1RMs are a good performing pad that won't chew a huge hole in your wallet. In summary, as long as you have reasonable pad thickness the pads that you already have on your car should do fine
  12. Pretty much if your car has any massive fluid leaks, the seat and seatbelt / harness is bolted in place and your helmet and clothing is up to scratch
  13. I'd be interested if it wasn't the day after SAU Wakefield day
  14. Neither. You need to be over 16 and hold a CAMS, AASA or Wakefield licence Friend of mine went to Wakefield not long ago and she is only on her Ls
  15. 98 octane should be 98 octane, no matter who is selling it. Most refinaries are shared anyway...
  16. When my car isn't parked on the driveway it's parked with 2 wheels on the steet and 2 wheels on the grass. R33s are suprisingly good at climbing gutters
  17. Yep, one with the ISO or AS or SNELL or whatever official sticker on it that certifies that it will protect your brain to some sort of capacity
  18. Not to mention cooler track temps for... *ahem* trail brake oversteer... but not drifting, definitely not drifting
  19. Delaminate/shred singular tyre, diff open wheels like a mo' fo'
  20. Power does help when ripping skids, but not that much
  21. Unfortunatly no, Oran Park closed in Jan or Feb this year 2 different motorsport venues on the other hand
  22. ZOMG, my car was in an email that Shelldon sent me!
  23. You'd be suprised. Last year at OP South someone brought a $200 VP wagon (or similar) along to the track and did considerably better than alot of the Skylines on the day. Then again, the gearbox was leaking oil and large chunks of metal at the end of the day
  24. It gets worse for 4WD vehicles
