  1. A friend of mine was a passenger in a AW11 on Old Pacific Highway when a AE86 coming the opposite direction decided to to a drift around a blind corner. Two written off cars and a ride to hostpital later everyone was luckily (and relatively...) in good condition. So the driver of said AE86 was the only one forced to deal with HIS stupidity? He was just lucky no one was killed. I'm not disputing his ability, only his intelligence. The public road isn't the place to go sliding around blind corners in the opposite lane EVER. So what if they use radios to call if there is traffic coming? The fact he recorded it so he could get himself into trouble AND anyone who has a car that even mildy looks like it's a drifter. I give it 2 weeks until I get asked by a policeman officer if I have been drifting
  2. They said that drifter's like to emulate the Stig... I'm pretty sure the Stig is no drifter
  3. Don't lie, anyone who owns a R33 GTS-t can't steer to save their life
  4. I liked the course I did skids on
  5. LOL "f**k you car, you will drift and you will like it!"
  6. I had a fantastic day as always! I accomplished my target for today... to destroy at least one of my evil, evil skid rims' tyres. A de-laminated tyre later and I felt my day was complete! Big thanks go out to the volunteers, the Comaros / Trans-AM and those people who didn't just come from down the road I hope more photos of my car made it through processing
  7. As I recall, neither of you launched your cars into the kitteh litter
  8. Spotted POV-031 pulled over the side of the road at Mooney Mooney yesterday evening. Had to make a quick pit stop did we Wayne?
  9. stockies with shit rubber
  10. You make it sound like you where the first one to have a mismatched front bar
  11. Going off google maps it looks like you can walk onto the track. I don't think you would get a car on there... I think they would have fixed that for obvious reasons
  12. For comfort and stability I find the standard R32 GT-R seats are awesome, it's what I run on the street in my R33 GTS-t Before I got the GT-R seats I used to run around in a Sparco Sprint V. Awesome track day seat, absolutely terrible daily driving and road trip seat
  13. I have an SAU sticker, drive my R33 everywhere and still never get spotted
  14. I have an ECU under my centre console... I think it's for air bags or seat belt pretensioners or something
  15. Spotted a few white series 2 R33s on my way to and from Banks yesterday and today. It's like the breed or something
  16. I have been after a daily car for a while and after driving my uncle's 6 cyl Liberty I think I'm going to go in that direction. Leather seats Climate control Cruise control AWD 6 speed man Nice amount of low torque Takes corners very well Half decent sound system as standard Smooth and quiet (and I mean quiet in comparison to ANYTHING I have driven... including my stock FailBoat ) I have only have one issue with Libertys... apparently they don't like running on no oil
  17. That is a top photo of the R35 picking up a leg
  18. I don't know... but I'm thinking it won't... probably look at GT-R fenders I guess...
  19. Wait, wait, wait, wait... I have something! I get angry looks when ever I pull up at traffic lights, especially from people in convertibles or people with their windows down. My brakes get quite a squeal up at the moment, I wub my silly brake pads of awesomeness That counts as road rage right?
  20. When you get wheels that are 11ty" wide and have an offset of -11ty, the tyres will tend to scrub on body work. This can be fixed by rolling your guards. Rolling guards can be done either professionally to get a good result, or with a breaker bar on your driveway for the ghetto look 11ty
  21. Fark, all you crazies carrying potential weapons in your car, especially you Chubbs! All I carry within reach of the driver's seat is a 1kg fire extinguisher.
  22. I vote Nick's place
  23. To me the initial package doesn't seem too unreasonable, I don't think I would spend the extra $700 though... that's all stuff I'm pretty confident doing myself From what I read the N1 water pump has larger but less blade inside it to prevent cavitation at high RPM. The trade off is worse flow at low RPM. If you spend most of your time on the track or driving at a moderate speed it should be OK. If you are in bumper to bumper traffic everyday... I wouldn't recommend it unless you have some masochistic urge to cook your engine
