In march my car had an insident with a lump of concrete that smashed my rim and put my wheel out of alignment, only difference is that mine was a front hit. Here are some pics The concrete block punched a hole through the rim. Wheel, slightly out of alignment... lol Lower control arm and tie rod where bent Castor rod a little distorted Difference between a straight lower control arm and a bent one Difference between a straight tie rod and a bent one The parts cost me: New set of rims $1700 (you don't have to go that much, I just did ) Lower control arm $50 from a wrecker Castor rod $100 from a wrecker Tie rod around $85 from Nissan Parramatta Wheel alignment $68 I fixed everything myself exept for the alignment, so I probably saved a few dollars there. I hope this helps

I care not for Pohmmy Euro-trash Well... I care enough to point out that it was an Aston Martin and not... lets say an S2000 I was cold and in a hurry. That and the camera in my phone is crap. I want a digital SLR or something... something thats way to technical and advanced for me to use! LOL thanks mate! I'd love to say that my car was better than the Aston, but lets face it. A 12 year old, unwashed, not quite poverty pack Japanese performance car with what I like to call "drift" damage is always going to look like crap next to a car like that

ZOMG!!! There was this awesome Skyline parked in Terrey Hills this afternoon! ...and next to it was some Vanquish... the photo really came out shit eh?
-
On the way home from around Richmond today I saw a black wingless R34 on the M2/Mona Vale Road/Forest Way and... A certain blue Audi with the number plates HAY 53Y on Mona Vale Rd (I think... it was along those lines, plates where also blue)

seeing as for some reason I can't edit my last post... Linky to Google Maps to Cassbo's stupid destination

I drive around 400kms a week in my Skyline a week minimum, 50% of those kilometres are driven on Thursday night during the Coastie Cruise . That being said, I drive my Skyline everywhere. For example on the Sunday/Monday of the July long weekend look where I'm going I found out how to edit this post... get rid of the long and ugly code that I vomited here
-
I be interested. Though, I'd sleep in/under my car if need be On second thought not under... beside would be more... easy.
-
Well if you put it that way... fine... go blues... I'm not watching that game at all. I'm going for a drive to Manly then home via Narrabeen and McCarrs.
-
I shall keep that weekend free of stuff

Spotted a Silver R33 GTS-t on Forest Way this afternoon. Had a GT-R wing and scared the crap out of me when he first drove past lol Bahaha HICASS Spotted Slim's cable ties at the AGM
-
I nominate via Forest Way, Mona Vale Road and McCarrs Creek Rd. So someone can pick me up on the way past and I can drink! On a more serious note (because I know the cruise route won't change simply to make it convenient for me lol) my Skyline should be fixed enough to make this cruise. It won't look pretty but it should be there
-
While your changing stuff. I'm not going in my R33 anymore Its Gen 1 Liberty power for me! Super ugly spec

So in! With a little (or a lot...) of luck I'll be in a Skyline. As with people speeding, trying to catch up to the front of the group... If you lose the front group there are others to follow, and if you lose the entire group completely its not very hard to get to Newport. Its not like its a secret destination, the address is given As before I'll try and con my mate with his FTO to come along, see if I can finally stop saying he will get a Skyline one day and actually get one
-
Once a week there is the Weekly Thursday Coastie Cruise. Might be a little bit of a trek from Newcastle, but if you have nothing better to do on a Thursday night come along and say hi

Well... I broke my Skyline this week so I won't be able to drive it to the meet... So I have to drive my Subaru instead...

Awesome! I don't see anything happening then that would stop me from going except death and/or general incapasitation. *knock wood... or the MDF in which my desk is probably made from*

From RTA website Licence restrictions for learner driver licences: Zero Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) – You cannot have any alcohol in your system when you drive a vehicle. Display of L plates – L plates must be clearly displayed on the front and back of the vehicle. Licence class – You can only drive cars and/or motorcycles Seatbelts – You must ensure all occupants including yourself, are in a seat that has a seatbelt or an approved restraint fitted and that each passenger is using the seatbelt or restraint. Speed limit – You must not drive faster than 80 km/h and must observe the speed limit where it is below 80 km/h. Supervision – A person who has an appropriate Australian full licence (not a learner or provisional licence) must sit next to you when you are driving. Supervising a learner – You must not supervise another learner driver. Towing – You must not tow a trailer or any other vehicle. Location restrictions – You must not drive in Centennial Park when in Sydney. - I never knew about that one... Display of L plates – L plates must be clearly displayed on the front and back of the outside of the vehicle. The letter L on the plate must not be hidden. Mobile phones – You must not use a mobile phone while driving or while your vehicle is moving or is stopped but not parked. This includes phones in the hands-free mode or with the loudspeaker operating. Also... LICENCE - PROVISIONAL P1/P2 Driver fail to comply with conditions of licence - Drive prohibited vehicle. $397. 7 demerit points. - I believe that you get 4 points on reds and 7 points of greens, thats licence gooooooooooone Personally I say not to risk it. The best way to get her to learn how to drive a manual is to do what I did to my mate's sister. Convince her to sell her auto, buy a manual and just learn by having no alternative to drive. When she complains about stalling and roo hopping and doing burn outs either reason with her that it will be an expensive deal to sell your manual car straight after you bought it (due to stamp duty and taxes and shit), or tell her she is soft for giving up. Harsh, but it worked. Mate's sister went from auto Lancer to manual Pulsar! :laughing-smiley-014:

:laughing-smiley-014: Typical government not thinking this through well though. I wonder what those XR6 Turbos run like on 91 RON... police will start driving around in Holden Epicas/Daewoo Toscas?
-
My Subaru runs on 91... but fark driving that... It doesn't go Tututututututuuuu... Come to think of it, non of my cars do lol
-
Funnily enough it ran better after I chipped it. Probably more to do with the fact I had just replaced the water pump and timing belt (without a timing light, or other special timing tool :laughing-smiley-014: ) at the same time. This was October 2005. The car is now a dark blue drift pig. Needless to say when I chipped it I wasn't like "FAAAARK I chipped it!!!". Was more like... "Wow... that sucks... meh" Hopefully I'll be less dodgey with my current Skyline
