  1. If you got a letter from his insurance company that it might not be him that is milking it. I think your lucky, my brother hit a Magna in the tail, similar amount of damage (from my brother's description anyways...) and the cost of fixing that was like $5,000, or $1,500 for the excess. At least you had the sense to drive a car WITH insurance.
  2. Well thats good to hear, even if it means I've turned out useless... again lol How can you be a true bush/backyard mechanic if you don't have sub standard tools? Besides, it worked fine on my R31... (so not all RBs are screwed, pun intended, or it was on so tight I couldn't get it off... either or) even if I dropped the pully onto the ground and chipped it real good like. Luckily on the aircon side. The aircon didn't work anyway so I removed the belt and condenser after that
  3. If I'm a little too harsh on gear changes I crunch in between 3rd and 4th. Granted I don't drive a GT-R, but it is a problem I face every now and then. Just means I need to use my head instead of the syncro sometimes. As for tyre wear on the inside... negative camber does that... but even so, is this really a "flaw" or just a side effect? Its easy to fix though. How? Buy new tyres. Can't afford new tyres? Then you shouldn't be able to afford a car, let alone a performance one.
  4. Something along these lines?
  5. I might have one... but it means I need to go into the shed and find it... and its a shit fight to find anything in there... brb

    98 Ron

Woolworths/Caltex Glenrose Glenn St, Belrose Vortex 98 = $1.419/L without discount as of 19/03/2008 at 17:03 I've only been there once when they had no premium, but that was about November last year. On a Tuesday there is usually a sizable queue, but if you don't want to wait you aren't desperate/tight enough

    Sydney P.w.n.s.

YOU ARE ALL WRONG!!!! Burren Junction is where it is at! It literally urinates all over Sydney and Melbourne.
  8. Agreed. I wish I still lived there. I hate the "cold" Sydney weather. lol Not many if you have a good sense of direction Why is this argument even happening? Its not like we are the cause of one state being better than the other... its the governments and shit. RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!!!
  9. Spotted a black series 1 (or 1.5) R33 GTS-t about 4:35 this afternoon on Mona Vale Rd near Warriewood/Mona Vale. I waved. He waved back. NO ONE DOES THAT FOR ME!!! lol EDIT... Come to think of it... it didn't have the series 2 wing... so not 1.5? lol
  10. Victorians have one messed up road rule though... Look up the term hook turn lol
  11. I was considering tagging along except for this little snippet of info... That night I plan to be a little intoxicated in order to celerbrate being able to leagally get intoxicated in the United States of America. Whore? Where?
  12. Doof, Sam (WTF-33R) and myself where all traveling down the F3 on Thursday night, and we all happen to drive R33 GTS-ts... well, maybe not Sam, his one be a four door. If this other R33 GTS-t has a lightish red (AKA pink) boot garnish it could have been me
  13. But where the two connected? Too much opposite lock? Kembla Grange was awesome! I would go back, even if we where told not to drift. I do admit though, my times where alot faster on the 2nd run because I stopped drifting
  14. Ignorant me spots a Ford Exploder in that pic... what is it? lol EDIT You ment the number plate didn't you? lol
  15. On the way home from Wahringah Mall today I spotted this... I only had about a few secs for the pic so its crap
  16. Around Gordon this morning I saw a white R31 GTS-X plates SLY-031 Around Castle Hill I saw a deep purple/blue R33 GTS-t (I think) series 2 plats "NO" I like those plates, easy to remember and somewhere in between Castle Hill and the M2 I saw a black R33 GT-R with plates AP-64_FM (I think) its amazing what you can recall when you are riding shotgun with a phone to jot everything down
  17. Where do Stags keep their cup holders? It almost looks like it could go under a single DIN headunit...
  18. Not going on your own Coastie Cruise eh? Though I have to say... it is this side of the general Sydney area... I'll say maybe now and yes in about Friday
  19. If at all possible, not Friday 4th April. Will be my 21st birthday so I will be le smashed Then again, if its on that night what do I care, I'll have my pain-go-away juice
  20. If there was a prize for lowest power I'd so take my Subaru instead of the Skyline! 100kWs.... yea... at the engine So I'm guessing about... 60-70kWs at the wheels... the front ones that is! Stock EJ22 catagory?
  21. I actually went on site for once today and at Baulkham Hills I saw... Deep Blue R31 sedan AR-51-GP White R33 GTS-t (I think) with a GT-R wing WGH-051 Then on the way home from work at around 5:10 I saw a silver R33 GTS-t on Mona Vale Rd, somewhere near the Bahai Temple.... I think...
  22. Thats if you've got a good record. When I bought my GTS-t I still had my green Ps and my insurance is a little more than $3,000. As for being pulled over... I've only ever been pulled over twice, once in a R31 Wagon taking a shortcut through a restricted area and once speeding in my Subaru Liberty. I've been followed in my Skyline but never pulled over... must be lucky I guess... Either that or the police think my car is a naturally aspirated car because it doesn't have the manditory front mount intercooler and aftermarket exhaust
  23. Saw a R33 4 door on Mona Vale Road this morning in between 6:50 and 7:00 AM. I know I waved... I think... today has been a bit of a blur...
  24. I've decided I'll show up for this . Put it on a dyno in October so I'm interested to see how different it could be. Hopefully I'll still get around the 145rwkWs I got then . I'm told its not bad for complete stock, except for my fully sick rims which add 500kWs to the fuel pump
  25. I don't think they will drop that much in price (although, I do hope they do, I wouldn't mind being able to fund some late '90s GT-R action ) as I see them becoming somewhat of a collectors item. The last high performance car to don the "Skyline" name and also the last car to use the RB engine (although, I'm only assuming on that one...). Also you get people out there who believe that the good old H-pattern style gearbox is superior to the R35's DSG one. Enter this thread. But be warned, it will eat away at your IQ as you get further into it
