Thanks for all replys, Yes I am pleased with the resaults. I have a RB26 crank with forged tomei pistons and eagle rods with I am putting in the RB20 this winter. Here are some specs. Engine management: Haltech E6X Haltech 6-pack of coils Mangnacore 10mm sparkwires Bosch 203 ingnition module Head: Ported intake\exhaust Jun high rev valve lifters Jun valve springs Jun 292 degree cams Adjustable camgear (but they still stand on 0 mark) Stock headgasket ARP headstuds Newly recoverd the head, new guides, seats etc Bottem end: Stock pistons\rods ARP mainstuds and ARP 2000 rod bolts ACL racebearings Grex oilpump N1 water pump Nismo 62degree thermostat Engine exterior: JUN style inntake 90mm throttle body Re-enforced "CHINA EBAY" 6-1 manifold Turbonetics 60-1 A\R .63 exhaust housing 3" exhaust from turbo and back Tial 38mm WG 4" Fmic with 3" piping 555cc injectors running 3Kg fuelpressaure 2x MSD fuelpumpes with catch And thaths pretty much that. I am pleased with the resault only running @ 1.45bar of boost. Not sure how much power the stocl bottem end would hold up with, but I could easely have done 370KW@ the crank with 1.6bar boost, adjusted cam gears, and pulled 8500 insted of 8160RPM`s, but I dont know what the stock bottem end holds and I am the first in Norway to have a RB20DET with over 230Kw.

I have bought a 4.083 S15 final gear. Hope that will help
-
Hi, I run a 3.6diff and a S13 CA18DET tranny. Therefore the loss in drivetrain. It does well over 300KM`h with that gear ratio.
-
I run a Turbonetics 60-1 with a A\R .63 exhaust housing. I will achive boost about 5-600rpms earlier by setting up my wastegate with vakum in bottem, and boost line fro boostsolonoid on top.

Hi, thanks for youre taughts. But we have called it Sky-Lite

Hi, The 200sx S14a Z-Edition was sold in europe. Only 200 made. They came with Eibach lowering springs, Remus sports exhaust, 19" BBS rims and fully leather interiour. It came with SR20DET but I have done a rebuild with a RB20DET from a R32GTS-T
-
Just finished of the dyno with my 200sx S14a Z-Edition RB20DET. I made 449,8hp@1,45kg (8160RPM) boost at the crank. Quite pleased with that on a stock bottem end. just replased all bearings and ARP bolts all over. 297KW @the hubs. Movie clip:

Hi, thanks for all replys. I have got valves now.
-
Hi, I am looking for intake\exhaust valves for my RB20DET engine. Its from a R32 GTS-T. (silver top i belive). I baugt and payed for valves from a guy (040jgm) but hi wont answere my replys and I havent resived them. The valves are the only parts missing for me to complete my RB22 rebuild. So if Anyone has a head or valves, I will pay $200 for "The valves only". They have to be shipped to Norway, but I will pay additional for shipping! At least 4x intake and 4x exhaust valves has to be in GOOD condition! Hope someone could be kind to help me out!! Thanks, Thomas.H www.EdgePerformance.no

Theyre not the same. Has the same messaures, but the alignment mark is not on the outside, but 1mm into the bearing

Rb26 Head And Engine Parts
impultion replied to MR RB30's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Will the RB26DETT crank and rods fit my RB20DET to make a RB24 convertion? What must be done to convert? -
Hi, Thats what I thought. Just baught 2 sets of ACL calicio coated race bearings. Thanks,
-
Hi, Thanks for that information. Do you know of anyone ho has forged pistons and rods to the RB20DET in stock? Thomas
-
Hi, are you sure? This guy bored 5mm over. 83mm on his RB20 block Murravis: Hi Mate, The block i have used is from a 93 r32 gts-t The walls are still pretty thick, i got them checked when they did it and they said there fine, There is no need to sleeve the block, i was going too but the machine shop said there is no need too. We took mine out 5mm and there fine, if tomie has made pistons to do the rb22 or rb24 conversion at a bore of 83mm they must be fine. on another note is that your engine bay below? Cheers Cameron
-
Thanks, Hi went with 83mm pistons. 5mm over. I will hear with him wht hi has done with the block.

Hi, I have been offerd 82mm Custom CP pistons and cometic head gasket. Anyone ho has experience on boreing the cylinder from stock 78-82mm? Are the walls thick enough or DOES the kit require cylinder sleeves. Nobody has ever answered this question, and I am a little sceptic to bore 4mm over. Afraid the walls will be to thin to handle any boost. This seller tells me its safe and no prob. to have 82m pistons fitted. And are there any diffrence on the cylinder walls on the early and late RB20DET engines? Thanks for any replys, Thomas.H www.edgeperformance.no
