Hay guys, pretty sure you cleared this up already but just putting my 2 cents in. got a t04z and went from a 3" dump to a 3.5" and i gained 300 rpm in response. also will be putting cams and from what ive seen ill gain about 400 rpm there..... so a bigger dump definatly helps with response on big turbs.....
  7. Hay guys Looking at selling my GTR. Dont really drive it anymore and i feel its wasted. Everything about this car has been upgraded, Super Fast car with heaps more potential, power has been limited to 350 hp while the engine is fresh, engine and components have only done 5000klm with the gearbox and diff doing a bit more with 15,000 klm. The Car runs a Garret Ball Bearing TO4z high mounted with full 3.75" HKS exhaust (Very Quiet) with a high flow 3.5" cat, has upgraded fuel system with 780cc injectors being feed from a custom twin entry fuel rail, fuel is pumped by a bosh 044 pump and is regulated with a Sard Fuel pressure regulator. The engine is controlled by a VIPEC engine managment system tuned to 15 psi by Mark Jacobson From Godzilla Motor Sport. The car has a full respray in Pale Blue Effect (From 2006 Toyota Corolla) and a standard gtr body kit (not including the wing). It has a Kenwood 7" fold out DVD player and alpine V12 amp with fusion speakers. The Wheels are FZERO Special -Volk rays 18" x 10" and are wrapped in falken 275,35,18. The Suspension is Tein hight adjustable and quite stiff. 4500k Full HID Xenon head light kit has just been installed. A Full List of Mods and engine work that has been carried out can be emailed to any one that is more interested. All Offers Considered. Car can also come with defi boost gauge. Also has a trust extended sump and r33 gtr front diff, currently not on the car but can go with it for a small price. Im asking for $22500 ono.   8. i had the same problem using a t04z with a std capacity engine. it use to spool at 4 and pull hard till the limiter at 8. ive changed the exhaust manifold and wastegate made bout 500rpm diferance. im changeing the cams and gears to 264 as i dont have any head work either and am expecting about about another 300rpm response. so all in all im hoping to get the spool at about 3 and pull hard till 8. ill keep you posted, ps there are many guys i know that have cams and a good tune and they get 20 psi at 4000 rpm. so it is possible. but like they said T04z LOVES THE ERBS

  15. dude mine ran 161kw with exhaust. and have seen so many "exhausts" for gtrs that dont do shit unless you get a highflow cat. put a high flow cat and cam gears with 14psi and it made 225kw on a pfc. tried old cat in it and dropped down to 180kw..... do the cam gears and cat.... and get rid of the mines comp... good luck

  17. well, firstly, cold start not present. Doesnt pull idle up or down when ac is on. f*k all power for turbo set up, uses fuel like its 20cents a litre. like i get 250klm per tank with no boosting it at all. and when i took it back he said it was the way i drive, with no advice on how to fix the problem. ok advice isnt free but when ur a regular customer and fork out 5k on computer and tune you want some sorta decent results. plus he said he would set up the anti lag and launch control, but still no go... and last of all he put a pasword on the computer so i can't data log or view any of the sensors of the engine... basicly want some one who will do what they say they will and if there is a problem they will at least take a look, nothing against mark, just looking for a new tuner + bit far away to take back every weekend...

  23. i just thought that if the tps is sending a signal because it is twisted, then the car would be trying to control the idle thinking the throtle is on all the time... ill have a play tomorrow and see if it makes a differance..

  25. thanks dude... but i like the launch and anti lag controlss...... to bad power fc doesnt have thoes..... any way, idle is fine now turned out to be a huge air leak from throtles..... so does the tps do anything if you move it from position it is tuned in???
