  1. hay. found out that my brother in law put 91 octane fuel in for a couple of months while i was overseas...... i ran some injector cleaner, and reset the ecu runs like a dream......
  2. fuel pump is humming away....... compression is good.... ill clean the afm tomoz and reset the ecu see if that makes a differance........ maby injectors blocked????? or fully open?????
  3. driving home and as soon as the car hits 3000 rpm it decides it wants to stall,,,,, not stright away but eventually does after spitting for a bit,,,, then it wont start again for about 5 to 10 min. the idle is a bit lower than normal aswell... bout 600..... any ideas?????
  4. hay guys i drive my gtst fro about 10 min to work and while im on the high way driving it jumps up and down in the revs all of a sudden. pull over turn the car off.. back on after 5 min its fine. 10 min later.. same.....any ideas....... got no problems with the aac or iac, check and cleaned that already. changed the plugs. im gonna run some injector cleaner through it and give the afm a clean, any other ideas?????? im thinking tps or crank angle sensor.,,,,,,,, but i havent checked them yet.... could the o2's be giving me grief????? thanks
  5. ive got some bolts out of an r33 gtr manual,,,,, same????/ if they are let me know ill measure them... prob best to get them from nissan any way,,,, they will be the right tensile strength, we snapped 4 on 15 psi with a t88 and they were 8.8 tensile... so id stay with the nissan ones,,,, i thnk they are a 10.4 t/s.
  6. i was gonna say have a look at the wiring for the coils, there are chances that some of the wires are broken and earthing, or that the insides of the plug for the coil is not connecting, i had the same thing, but it tunred out to be my sticky injectors.

Bad luck dude. i had the same probelm but only when the car warmed up.... because of forged pistons. it would idle high and wouldnt be controlled by the aac valve..... clean it out... but there is a good chance that its an vacume leak.... unfortunatly not all will show up with a smoke machine.... what sorta car is it... any work done?????? try blocking off the one way valve on the water manifold... gl

  18. i went vipec with my gtr and its awesoem.. cost bout 1500 including tune form godzilla motorsport..... but that was a while ago.... its a really good comp and has heeps of extras,,, ive never heard of niztune but i comes down to how much money u got to play with..... if u got the extra go the vipec.......... again its awesome.. love that anti lag, on my to4z........see you later being beten at the lights agaion..... lol GL
  19. if u think its the injector just swap it with another cylinder.... pull cyl 2 and 3 and put 2 into 3 and vice versa... that will tell u if the injector is f*ked i pulled the coil and plug out and ran an earth wire to the body from the plug and pluged everthing together..... turn it ova while some1 whatches the spark... if it sparks.. its all good... if it doesnt ,,,, well thats that....   20. could be.... have you got a votage stabiliser???? does your car idle better when it cold or hot????? when the car is cold your o2 sensor is in what callled an open loop circut. therefore not really doing anything untill its warmed up, when it goes into a closed loop..... my sugestion is to put a voltmeter on it and test it out... or even take it out and have alook...... if it looks f*ked ... go and get another 1 from bosh......$75 GL

Take your plug out of the cylinder, start the car, see if it sparks...... if it sparks u know its not ur loom , coil , plug. put a test light to ur injector plug, start car if the light comes on when the injector fires its good. (ps dont take ur injector plug off ur injector. just push the test light into the back of the plug.) the only other thing i can think off is that the fpr is f**ked , its running too low a fuel pressure... and ur high idle is from a lean mixture.... can you adjust ur idle on ur aac????? check ur fuel pressure, maybe try another reg. Maybe a big air leak some where???? GL
