  1. Mine is 2002 model and the screen does not pop automatically but I remember seeing an '05 model that did have an auto screen.
  2. Easy doesn't interfere with spray jets very easy to fit, they just clip on.
  3. I got mine from Supercrap they are made by Aunger and sell for $19.95 or $17.95 on special, they are excellent I put them on both of my cars.
  4. Jaik Did you get a warranty from C-Red when you bought it? Might pay to go back and ask them for the battery cover and to see if while they were doing all the mods wether or not they might have taken a cover off around the ecu unit etc and forgot to put it back, might be a simple thing and save you alot of stuffing around. P.S. I hear the guy in the meat van loved your sound as well . Paul
  5. I have something similar but I found another wire heading of in the direction of the steering wheel, I fished around behind the panels and a small push button fell out when I pressed I found out it allowed me to get video signal whilst I was driving. Have a look you may find you have a similar switch mine was obviously tucked away for compliance.
  6. Frank What happened to all the photos most of them are not showing up. Paul
  7. You might want to check with Chris or Brian about getting a cable made up first. Otherwise you will have to take the lid off. BE VERY CAREFUL do not short anythong otherwise you will be in for some bucks to fix. I haven't found a diagram of it yet either.
  8. Can't take out the original DVD ROM player as it is hooked into Engine management info, TV Tuner. Take it out and you loose TV Tuner whitch means the aux in goes, then you have to get rgb convertor to get screen working again. Best so far is to lengthen wiring loom (4 hours) move original unit down behind glove box and then fit a normal DVD player and run cable to TV Tuner in boot. All beyond average joe's ability, eastern staters need to talk to Chris Rodgers in Brisbane (he is all over this forum) and west coasters need to see brian at Autotainment in Perth.
  9. I tapped into the "aux in" on the tv tuner in the boot. Yes I could basically run anthing that has video and sound through that.
  10. Cool Good to see the pics as I couldn't get my head around were the wires would go but looks very factory, well done. Have you tried to program the remote yet?
  11. Why don't you do what I have done and get a MP3 player ie Gigabeat or Ipod and tap into the aux in port I ran the wires through the roof to the sunglasses holder and I put my Toshiba Gigabeat in there. It is neat out of the way, has a 60GB Hdd will play video, MP3's and photo's and it all comes up on the factory screen with the sound going through the bose.
  12. Jaik Next time you are in Ozzy Park drop in and see me and Pulp so we can both check it out. Paul
  13. Chris Getting reading for when you change cars? I still think you should get a sedan and swap out your bits. Paul
