Iv come accross that also, i notice a loud hissing when i pull into garage afta goin for a spin, i checked all my vaccum lines n everythn cudnt hear or feel any air escaping. I rekon its my fan or something around that area? Are you boosting ok n does it idle normaly?

My advice keep away from HKS filters, they no good. K&N is the best air filter ive come across, both pannel and pod. With my K&N pod i had to get a Drift AFM adapter which was only $20 from autobarn, needed slight driling to the holes so it lined up perfect, but is the closest thing that i could find to fit.

Auto saloon tested 10 pods, as some1 said earlier, here are the rankings AEM flow=9th filter=3rd Apexi flow=7th filter=6th HKS flow=6th filter=9th (very poor) K&N flow=4th filter=1st!!! (i got this one an love it) Redline flow=2nd filter=10th Simota flow=3rd filter=5th Tenzo flow=8th filter=4th 3A Racing flow=1st!! filter=2nd!! (the best pod they say.. cudnt find one tho $30 they reckon) Trust flow=5th filter=7th Trust imatation flow=10th filter= 8th I found those results very interesting i was going to get a HKS pod but glad i didnt, they also had photos of what they didnt filter and... man thats sum stuff that gets through scary!

Hey all, im looking around for a new full exhaust system for my r33 gtst. got a couple quotes from places local. Also looked at the systems on just jap, what u guys recomend? Plus any1 recommend any fitters? I dont want something extremly loud, and dont want it to drone out heeps when on the freeway or just crusin. Cheers all

Im 19 on my full and a have a 33 gtst, is rather loud and with aftermarket bov n etc... im always out driving n never bin pulled over, im usualy driving around werribee n taylors hill n mostly all round west side lol. Once i got pulled in with a huge boose/drugs bus n got breath tested n the just check my rego n thn i was off! lol Do ya look dodgy? lol

I had a rattles when i 1st chukd my sub in my 33 so i riped everything out bolted down spare tyre... duno y i keep it in ther lol, n then wraped up jack n a rag and made a new boot underlay from a sheet of mdf then lined the bottom outside with a beed of plumbers silicone. left it to dry over night n chuked it all back in all good now
