  1. Or you could do a Hightower and do this
  2. Looks like a Hyundai Tiburon to me
  3. Just a quick question why did you change R34 Vspec diffs to R33 Vspec diffs?
  4. I agree with the others the MR2 is a great car, my brother had one but its ability to snap over steer and also the fact that hes still learning to drive i wouldn't suggest the Mr2 for your second car. My second car was a Honda CRX i still think it was the most fun car I've ever driven. It wont keep up with the turbo terrors but a car doesn't have to be fast in a straight line to be enjoyable to drive get some sticky tires for it some coilovers and because it only weighs 900 kilos you could take it to your favourite spot or the track and because its light you shouldn't go through too many tires or pads ultimately turning it into a cheap track day car. As a lot of these guys tend to say pick a heap of cars that tickle your fancy then go and test drive them i thought the CRX was awesome but it may be too slow for you in a straight line or you may prefer rear wheel drive, slowly get a list together and go and find your next ride.

  6. Shitty to hear but this doesn't surprise me at all when i was younger i used to ride my bike to school came back to my bike at the end of the day to find my plastic air caps had been stolen. So if someone is willing to steal plastic air caps which are worth a cent imagine what else they will steal, always better be safe than sorry. My girlfriends mum parked her car in the street on the weekend some wanker threw a beer bottle through the back window, seriously the world is a f**king joke.
  7. If i get lined up by this thing i think i might give it a wide berth i get the feeling it'll be a bit of an animal. I'd love to do a conversion like this on my 33. A mate of mine really wants an s15 with an rb26 his dream ride i guess.
  8. i just had the cam belt done the mechanic has written that the idler pulley for the a/c has seized.so do you think that the idler pulley has seized do to a bigger problem. the cam belt itself hasnt snapped
  9. Recently my car has sounded like a rusty chainsaw and on my way home on Thursday night my car stopped and i had to have it towed. I had a family friend who's a mechanic look at it and he said the idler pulley had been set too tight consequently the belt finally snapped after 5 years of ownership. My question is ive had problems with erratic idle and if i had the air con on for too long the car would simlpy die what other problems could occur, like increased fuel consumption due to the idler pulley set too tightly any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated as i'm not too mechanically minded.
  10. I can't speak for everyone but i think it would be worth the time everyone would think you're awesome in prison either that or you'll get raped
  11. i heard today that new law is just about to be put in place where suspended sentences will be eradicated for serious offenses. It's not perfect but it is a step in the right direction. What i don't understand is why it was tolerated before. My father used to be a police officer he still has friends that are cops he said that these guys don't have assets in their name because if they rough up the wrong person they get sued we need to empower the people that protect us its like having a rottie for protection then saying its bitten a few people lets take its teeth out, sure you have a menace of an animal but without bite its useless. The cops can stop these little faggots they just need support. So instead of slagging them off realise there is a bigger picture, you do their job deal with what they have to its not great. And i find it funny whenever you have a problem who do you call if you think the coppers are so useless, why did you call them? in the future just accept whats happened and move on. Oh and that top bloke saying even the cops are scared of him, i doubt that mate.
  12. My first Japanese car was a Honda CRX it didn't have a body kit or subs the only thing it had was 17 inch rims and very sticky tires and yes a skyline or a Holden or ford would smash it in a straight line but that wasn't where the fun lay with that particular car. Yes in everyday traffic it lacks low down torque as you have been complaining but that's not the point of the car it really comes into own when you're in the twisties and you're working the sweetly gated gear box and keeping the engine in the sweet zone where it generates its power you wont be the fastest on the track/hills but you will be having a lot of fun. The thing that concerns me about this conversation is you are so quick to judge please understand there are horses for courses straight line speed is awesome but what is better is all round balance. It wasn't a type r but i do understand where and why honda has so many type r fans.
  13. Mate i was in your position not long ago all i did was chase money at the end the best i could do was nearly 700 a week im 27 now and toward the end i felt depressed and shitty because i was applying for all these apprenticeships and no one wanted me fair enough too.and not just that all my friends where trade qualified or had uni degrees and where earning good money.its a shit feeling being poor mate.LISTEN and listen good do an apprenticeship and find one you like offer your services for free on weekends or during the week or whatever suits you best just because someone says do electrical you may not like it try them all and then make your choice then go do a pre apprenticeship ,you may get picked up during the pre apprenticeship.if you have the intelligence maybe do a uni degree but at the end youll have to pay back a tidy amount of money ,with an apprenticeship you get paid to learn and your debt free at the end and you can earn about the same money as a uni grad theres no future in unskilled work change youre life now while you can because you might find it very difficult later on .theres also all sorts of incentives from the government now do it mate while you can
  14. Give me you're Skyline cnt
