  1. If anyone hears of a small fiberglass carf and a small elephant which look real can you please let me know. The business next door at my work got broken into and these two items are missing.
  2. Ive done part of a mechanics course while i was still at school but it didnt really interest me, as i was learning about carbys and old cars. I was lucky enough to have Christians Senwill civil car built at my mates workshop where i managed to learn a shit load of info about cars while getting my hands dirty. That was the best experience i ever got. Its best to get a trade tho as u will always have it behind you in the future.
  3. bring on 500 killer wasps
  4. looks the goods Chad. Have to put my brake ducts in this week as well as change engine oil, put fire extinguisher in, and do a full check of the car. Just wondering if i take my back seat out do i need to block the hole off to the boot?
  5. Cheers for that. I just got Ikeya formula ones myself, awesomely made and very tough, but thinking of changing to cusco as they have the dust covers. Will go Ikeya Lower control arms later, but don't really know anyone in adelaide who has the knowledge to adjust the roll centre correctly.
  6. Wouldnt he need traction arms to adjust the bump steer on the rear?
  7. Im going down this same path with my R34 GT-four. Hoping to bolt a RB26/30 into it later this year. Will let you know how i go. I'll make a project build thread sometime in the year.
  8. Well here i was in the work truck today doing a delivery driving down mooringe ave when 100m ahead i see this old red ford sedan come flying out of the side street and smash into a black bmw travel towards me. Both cars spin out major, the red one on the foot path and the bmw nearly hitting a stobbie. Both cars are written off. I pull over to check everyone is ok, and the person in the red car was an old grandma who missed the giveway sign and would of been doing 60-70k's as there are no tyre marks on the road from her car. Crazy shit to see.
  9. o what the hell i'll come down. see u there

    Respray

yeah 3k wont get you much these days, as with an old car like a 33 things are usually perished or very fragile when you remove them, and tend to break. Even materials along cost abit, sand paper, prepsol, primer, paint, clear, nuts/bolts everything has to be taken into account.

    Respray

How much money u got to spend? Would u wanna sand back the car yourself? resprays can range from 3k to 12k My recommendation is Edwardstown custom body repairs if u got the money to spend. Or if u wanna sand it all back yourself my mate who works there might be able to do a cashy on the side.
  22. i'll have to give it a miss to after i put a deposit down on some very nice parts the other night hehe
  23. Its not a 2hr job lol u dont need to take the inlet manifold off, just the throttle body and use a whole heap of sockets. If u get splitfires and need a hand yell out and i'll do it.
  24. if water or coolent is getting in there check for a split hose around the top of the motor. I found one in mine i had to replace it.. I had to take mine out roughly 3 times as i tryed new spark plugs and they didnt work, then i tried wrapping the coils in tape and that didnt work, then i put the splitfires in and that worked. Only takes me roughly 10mins to change the plugs/coils now. Engine light might mean a loose connection somewhere, or could be the coils. Bad coils will make the car chug every now and then but sometime seem fine.
  25. get some splitfires in there penny. Mine had a bad missifre and sounded like rex. Put new coils in and fixed the problem straight up.
