    Rear bar needs painting anyways, but i should stop looking for parts and just keep saving for this damm engine. anyone wanna give me 6k? lol

    jenkies mate, spray with wd40 and let it sink in. We had the same problem with my bro's r32. got a big screw driver shoved through it and turned. good luck tho.

    with mine and my mates, we just covered the pod. Got some degreaser and wipe on with a rag. After that we got the pressure washer and sprayed down everything. (just dont go spraying electrical components for ages) Car started first time no worries.
