I kinda tagged along on one of his cruise at the very back of the pack. So much respect for the cars. Some very awesome machinery and something u don't see everyday. Cops shouldn't be a problem. The zipple and smasa cruises u could basically drive anything and be fine.

Check my build thread for more updates in the projects section off to the paint shop in a couple of weeks, new battery tray bit getting welded in to get rid of the rust. And painted engine bay. Andrew (blue32) popping down this weekend to help with the engine assemble. (still gotta msg) All happening

On the weekend i took my guards off ready for the engine bay to be painted. Getting all the little clips and lines out of the engine bay was a pain but almost finally there woo. Reo bar off If u look where the battery usually goes, that rust will be getting cut out and a new piece welded in Just got the brake booster and clutch cylinder to remove now and that it..... Then onto sanding -
Thats where mine are. He was about to tell me to take them out on the spot but then noticed the velcro and said they are fine. So i guess u can have them on ur dash. I just carry around my old defect notice if anyone asks.

Anyone here had there engine bay seam welded before? Looking at getting it done

I lost 3 points when i got done 79k/hr in a 60k zone. Fine was like 300 and something.

My gauges are legal cause they are velcroed down and not bolted. They are also ontop of the dash. The inspector at lonsdale wrote on my defect notice they are legal since they are velcroed so if I do get questioned I've got it in writting saying there ok
