  1. Hi all, I have some questions regarding a set of Sard 700cc injectors for an R34 GT-R. 1) Is it ok to use Sard 700cc injectors with an Apexi Power FC? I thought that the tune limits for the Power FC ECU were 600cc??? 2) Do they bolt straight up to the standard R34 GT-R fuel rail? As in, I dont need to also purchase an after market fuel rail along with the injectors? 3) Do I have to purchase the collars for the Sard Injectors? Cheers,
  2. So does that also mean: Tensioner Bearing Spring Timing Belt Idler Bearing Cam Seal Crank Seal Water Pump Thermostat....
  3. How much do tensioners roughly go 4 for an R34 GT-R?
  4. Same to you. lol. Oh and Beer Baron, I might get back to you regarding one of your brand new Nissan timing belts... we'll see how we go. Cheers,
  5. Thanks for the info guys. Yeah no worries, i'll compare them and let you know how it all goes once I have fitted it all up and tuned it... might be a while tho...
  6. Hi all, Is it ok to have HKS Cam gears with Tomei Pon Camshafts in an R34 GT-R??? Ie. doesnt have to be HKS cam gears with HKS camshafts and Tomei with Tomei etc? This wouldnt effect the tuning process would it? Also on a bit of a side note, would the Tomei Type B poncams (260 IN & EX, 9.15mm lift) be better suited to my car equiped with a pair of Garrett GT2860R-7's (with support mods) than the Type A which is 260 IN & 256 EX??? Better suited as in, more power in a wider power band? Cheers,
  7. Hi all, Just wanted to check with you guys but is the part number 15208-65F0A correct for a genuine Nissan Oil Filter for an R34 GT-R? If not, can someone please provide me with the correct number? Cheers,
  8. Hi all, How much of a difference is there between a dyno readout (in KW's) at the rear wheels and a dyno readout at all 4 wheels (particularly with GT-R's)??? I am aware that it will be a higher readout at the rears... but generally how much higher? Ie - around 5% difference? Cheers,
  9. Hi all, Total noob question but is it only the VIN that you mention when going to your local Nissan dealership to enquire about parts? Ie - the 17 digit VIN stamped on the Firewall/Import plate/Rego sticker etc? Or is there other numbers that will have to be mentioned as well? Cheers,
  10. Hi again all, First off, I would just like to say thanks to everyone who has provided your info/help on this matter of wheels from Japan. I have since decided to buy the wheels through Streeter instead of Nengun so I will keep you guys posted on the progress... but will take a while though as he has told me that it will take about 2 months for Rays to make the wheels, but it will be worth it! Cheers, xanavinismo
  11. Sorry I ment I was actually worried about the clearance of the spokes themselves hitting the brake calipers on the inside because of the low offset?? (+12). Not of the diameter of the wheel (19"). See the attached picture and the example of how the spoke actually hits the brake caliper. Im worried of having that problem... Please let me know if I have misunderstood something here. Cheers,
  12. I checked your "ns/ht.com" and searched "streeter" but theres nothing. What is that?
  13. Really??? Thats handy! But did you or the other person do anything to miss out on import duty? Or just really lucky? Cheers,
  14. Hi all, I am thinking of getting some Rays Gram Lights 57S-Pro wheels for my R34 GT-R measuring 19x10, offset +12 (93mm dish), disk type B and am curious to know if that would clear the factory Brembo calipers with no problems? Also would the guards need some flaring? Tyre size on those wheels would be 265/35. Cheers,
  15. Hi all, I am contemplating on ordering some Rays Gram light wheels from Nengun but I am curious to know how much the customs tax would be for the 4 wheels once they arrive in Australia. Would it be like 10% of the total price that I would have to pay for all of the wheels including delivery etc... Cheers,
  16. Yeah im refering to the flywheel to crank bolts. Pretty much all aftermarket clutches (that come with new flywheels) come with new flywheel bolts dont they? This is why I am now interested to know if I will need them too, even if the flywheel gets machined. Cheers,
  17. Hi all, If I am getting a new Exedy standard replacement clutch kit (NSK-7172) for an R34 GT-R put in and I am getting the flywheel machined, do I need to get new flywheel bolts as well? I was always under the assumption that you only need to get new flywheel bolts if you get a new flywheel? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Cheers,
  18. Would problems with the clutch fork, release bearing, or even the small spring cause these kind of symtoms?
  19. Yep they replaced it. I forgot to mention also that they said that when they pushed on the clutch pedal, they could only get about 1 inch of clutch fork movement... which I take is not enough for proper disengagement of the clutch... It is also noted on the Nismo website that the Nismo slave is not to be used with the Nismo clutches... but I have read so many people using these two together so this wouldnt have something to do with the problem would it???
  20. Hi all, I got my Nismo Super Copper Twin Plate Clutch fitted up to my R34 GT-R and that went in fine, but when he installed my Nismo slave clyinder and tried to bleed the system problems arrived. Its a bit hard for me to exlain because I didnt fully understand everything he said but basically he said there is no fluid motion to disengage the clutch even after bleeding the system. So they tried to bleed the system again and still nothing. I think he said that they also pressure tested the clutch line system (or something like that) and still found no leaks. The Nismo slave was then 'bench' tested and that went fine until it was put back in the car and you guessed it... the same drama. I also got my clutch master slave cylinder ourhauled with (new a seal also) and still no fluid motion. He also tried putting the original Nissan slave cylinder and still the same problem!!! Has anyone ever had this problem when they installed a Nismo slave cylinder??? Is there something that they are missing here??? Thank you for any info/help you guys can give me.
  21. Hi all, I am getting a brand new Nismo Super Copper mix clutch installed in my R34 GT-R and wanted to ask you guys if these clutches need to get 'bedded' in before driving... hard? If so, usually how many KM's? I ask this because I am getting my car back on Friday and will be doing a dyno tune on Saturday so I am now wondering if this will affect the dyno process??? Ie - cant push the car on the dyno because clutch isnt bedded in??? Cheers for any info guys,
  22. Hi all, Do any of you guys/gals out there use an 'air vent' mobile phone carrier to mount your Apexi Power FC hand controller? I ask this because I found an image (Japanese website) of an R34 GT-R interior which uses this method and would like to know if anyone else does this? I have attached the pic. It doesnt mention what mobile phone carrier its from... does anyone know which mobile phone carrier is in that pic by any chance? I am thinking of mounting my controller in a similar way because I want to avoid using the 'sticky velcro' method if possible... Cheers,
  23. I might be able to make it but is it too much trouble if I came around 12:00PM??? Or is that too late? R34 GT-R btw...
