Hey guys Just a quick run down on my story at the moment... Im about to whack a new turbo on my car, and my gearbox in my GTS4 isn't in the most healthy of states (see 3rd and 4th). Now what im wondering is should i replace the box with another 32 GTS4 item or jump into a 32 GTR item as im planning on using the car for track days and do a couple passes down the strip. Also my riff diff is not as healthy as it should be.. Again should i replace this with a stock item or use a 32 GTR item? If it makes any differance the car will be a little laggy, running about 230-260rwkw. Thanks Guys!

Yeah the raptor will just be used for system files. Unsure about overclocking, but all the hardware is there to support it thats for sure! Just that ive never done it... So now would be the time. Mine set me back just over $3k

I bought a Genuine N1 front bar sometime last year, even though my car is a GTSt it still fits like a dream... My wallet was not very happy though! I ended up paying $650 for it. I'd just say keep your eyes open in the forsale section and also post in the WTB section.

So is there really that much stopping that car/driver doing a limiter launch? Built engine, strong box and im assuming that the rest of the drive train isn't stock.... Not being ignorant but im sure this car would deff by the sounds of it be up to the task.

Roy further more to our PM's..... I just bought a 2535 today and im gonna give that a shot before i step up to a TD06 or 2835. Like JNR im hoping for a 12sec pass which i dont think should be too much of an issue (being 4WD).... Unsure if the added weight will hamper that possibility though, but launching it, that is if my gearbox is up to it, should net me a 12... Any thoughts anyone? BTW being 4WD am i cheating lol.... Either way as soon as the results are in i will post 1/4 times, RWKW and AWKW.

Or not.... Personally i havn't bought from them but know some one that has AGES ago and didn't have issues but know someone that did recently and had HUGE problems with them, ended up costing him another $150 of back and forth postage.

Yeah ive been reading that the 8900GTX ALLEDGELY has 1024mb ram, so that coupled with DX10 and Crysis when it finally hits the shelves would be a decent combo. But at the same time ive been reading the new ATi cards have a soundcard build in with full HD sound and video support. Pretty soon i think there will be some competition back in the market of video cards. I'd be guessing AMD will release their new range of processors with the new ATi cards... Only a guess but it would seem the best thing to do.

Shop around with quote until you get one that is higher than the Doyle or Provident one. I know it would be alot os assing around but in the long run your car will be at someone that will take care of your car.

Im assuming you with Just Cars? Under written by AAMI aren't they? A freidn of mine recently had a prang in his 33 GTR, they refused to let him choose his repairer but he insisted he get a quote from Doyle's off his own back, price ended up coming back better than their own so they went with Doyles. I know it doesn't answer your question but something to keep in mind when you go to put it in to get repaired. Doyles will deff take care with it... Your post makes it seem like your not interested in them one bit.

If your looking for spare GTS4 motors im sure a while back when i got some stuff from Jap Spares he said he had like 4 of them sitting around. RB20 GTS4 motors. But from what i can tell is that the sump must be changed and thats basically it. I too have been toying with the idea of a newer fresher motor but until mine bites the dust then im happy with it.

Only for the video card... If you can find a 8800GTX for under 900 locally can you let me know please... I mean that genuinely too... Obviously apart from MSY. All the rest of my parts are coming from a friend that owns his own business.

Next thing is to actually find some rear gaurds.... The inner gaurds will be needed too huh? Or can they just be ultered? Thanks.

Hmmmmmm and im assuming its similar in price as well? Most things i have seen dont really show much differance in performance stock for stock as im still VERY nub on OCing EDIT: $15-20 by the looks of things.
